Ok here is a tip on how to avoid getting ragged by your seniors!
Usually ragging is also tagged based on cultural, relegious, linguistic and other parameters.
How my batch avoided ragging is, all of us in my batch got together within the first few days of college, we were unified and realized that our seniors were divided, So any senior touches one of our batch mates, all of us in our batch got together, would go and beat the day light out of those bullies and no one dared to touch any one of our batch mates, we even made pacts with super seniors (esp the PG and research graduates) who would side with us.

A year ago some of my classmates (bad girls) do sexual harassment with a girl of her own gang.... And my class incharge didn't took strict action against this....But that girl is crying too much and her other section girls support and fought with our teacher.. Teacher asked me about this matter(I didn't talk about this matter bcoz I'm unknown about this act...) Also that victim do these type of things for fun earlier with those girls...our teacher didn't want to made a big issue as she wants to maintain the good name of her section...She terrified that other section friend who supported her friend.....She said even girls are not safe from girls....Now both girls are my friends..The head of that gang left the school now..but she belongs to a rich family.(hope this willn't happened in future)🙏 -Preeti Kashyap

i am a victim of ragging... it was a naghtmarish experience of one week.. somehow i gathered courage and got away from hostel with one of my roommate.. i complained the warden but he didnt even listen.. it has been a scar on my memory.. i wish it doesnt happen with anybody... after i left i got news that some more of the freshers broke down.. didnt get any news further..

I sometimes wonder if we just ignore the raggers and walk away as if they don't exist. If they told me to look down, I might just look straight in their eyes. I would consider them if they ruin my stuff. At this point, I would feel the need to complain. Or else it wouldn't really matter to me because I am not listening to them.
It's just a thought, I have never been ragged so maybe there are some points I might not know.
