@@salvadoramaya4908 Apple was just as restrictive on what you could do with their devices when Steve Jobs was alive. However they did innovate with him there I will admit. They pretty much invented the current smartphone/tablet era, and were the first to implement a user friendly, full gui OS on a PC back in the 80s/90s. Now? I dunno, they still make fast processors.
Honestly apple has lost to not only samsung but a lot of other android phones for years now. Since steve died apple has been a lazy company that's too afraid to invent anything new.

You actually still get the back button, home button, and recent button, if enabled, not just the gestures. Samsung just gives the choice to do either of them.

The s10+ 5g have 6 times more ram & 32 times more storage than my laptop..
It isnt the 5g dude, just the s10+. but still, 4gb more ram than my gaming pc, and 100gb less storage.. wtf
What kind of laptops you have?? Something from 2005? Or an apple crap?? My laptop is 3 years old and has 32gb ram and 1gb HDD + 256SSD...

There is no recording limit on the S10 and S10+. I'm not sure about the S10e though. At the unpacked event in NYC I checked out the S10 and S10+ and neither had a 4k 60fps time limit.
The wider front camera module on the S10 5G is to fit a TOF sensor between the two cameras ;)
@@trp2413 Time of Flight sensor. It "shoots" out lazers and determines the time it takes for the lazer to return back to the sensor and then calculates the distance. It's pretty much what the iPhone has with the 3d facial scanning.
Sounds like more ar apps will be available/work better on the 5g s10
It's possible that they'd I'll include a time limit on the release model.
My daughter ran out of space on her S6 recentley. We went through her phone to see what was worth her keeping (photos, videos and apps) and what was worth deleting.... she had nearly 8GB of blank videos on her phone where the camera had activated in her pocket or bag. For people like her, a time limit is a god send.

I use my haptic home button all the time. Sometimes the UI on the phone freezes and the home button doesn't do anything, but a hard press always works. That's a shame.

You can turn off the gestures and turn back on the virtual buttons, you do this by going to Screen and then Navigationbar in settings.
gestures are better any way in my opinion

Finally upgrading from my s6 to the s10e(I can't stand the round edge on any phone) even though there isn't a damn thing wrong with it. No scratches or problems besides battery wigging out at around 15%. Had the phone 3 years with the original battery. Crazy how it's still going.

I just got my S10+ on Friday, March 8th and it is absolutely amazing. I can't wait to keep finding things out about it.
S10 5g have one more 3D Sensor on the front, too. That's why there's a slightly longer hole.
In the beginning of the video he said that the S10's design is the 2nd biggest change Samsung has ever done to a "phone" behind the change from the S5 to the S6, but what about the huge change from big bezels on the S7 to the minimal bezels on the S8, or the overall humungous change from flip phones to the first Samsung Galaxy S, just wanted to point that out, great video though

My favorite thing is the double tap to wake, just upgraded from the s7, which didn't have it, one of my favorite things I haven't seen since my HTC One m8, really useful when it's in the vent mounted holder in the car. 5* phone all day
Beautiful device! Unfortunately, I'm gonna miss the haptic home button and the LED indicator - these are my two favorite features on the S8+ that I found when switching from my S4.
5:04 Wrong there mate, if you enable the Super steady mode, which uses the ultra wide angle camera, you get excellent video stabilisation.
Another thing he didn't mention S10e has Gorilla Glass 5 on rear and front glass while on the S10 and S10+ it has Gorilla Glass 6 on the front glass (not the the rear).

@@veritajenkins9457 No, its just what the type of glass called. I dont know a lot of things about smartphone screens, but most devices are made of Gorilla Glass, its just a more strong glass. It can survive a few drops and higher drops compare to regular glass.

Love my canary yellow S10e, and it did come with a yellow case protector... I prefer the wideangle to telephoto. A lot more uses. Also comes with the headphone jack... thanks Samsung.

honest 1k for this phone is well worth it considering what you get inside the box, and you get the galaxy buds with a preorder and those cost 130, and you get like 500 dollars off with a trade in of an old galaxy, it honestly isnt even expensive when you look at the great deals that Samsung offer themselves.

Glad the fingerprint reader is better, I found the ones on other Samsung phones hit and miss. Nice bright display. I'd prefer the zoom bit personally on the camera. Free buds, blimey that's good! Mine on my s8+ doesnt even work anymore which sucks because i loved unlocking my phone like that im not a fan of the iris scanner and find myself having to input my password all the time
calabrese098 I had the S9 Plus, didn't like the scanner at all, but the face recognition on the Xs Max is brilliant I find even in the dark, I found I had a lot of call drops with all Samsung phones I've had, again, not experienced this on the Xs Max at all.

Dang, I didnât know or did not get a clear silicone case in my pre-order. Double dang, I ordered the black silicone case from Samsung. They gave me $550 US for my old phone and free Ear Buds, white, dang it. I ordered the black phone.

I have T-Mobile. Placed my preorder directly with Samsung and the offered $550 for my old phone. That is how I do all of my updates and get an unlocked phone
