Hi Professor D,
I am currently 1 month in to nursing school and cannot get my select all that apply correct. I usually have about 13 select all that apply and never get them right. Please help! What am I doing wrong?
Hi! Denny, do you know the content? Usually you have to treat them as true or false. The only way to answer them to be honest is that you have to know what the question is asking.
@@deonlewis3397 I usually read the chapter twice. I feel confident knowing the content until the test comes and I either pick one too many or one less…causing me to miss the entire question. 😩
@@Dkl200 Picking one too many is Normal. You have to learn to think depend on what the question is asking where does this answer fit in. I've had this problem now it's less than before. I was literally Picking too many.
@@Dkl200 How would you answer this question?
The nurse is teaching the client how to use a metered-dose inhaler (MDI) to administer a Corticosteroid drug. Which of the following client actions indicates that he is using the MDI correctly? Select all that apply.
1. The inhaler is held upright.
2. Head is tilted down while inhaling the medication.
3. Client waits 5 minutes between puffs.
4. Mouth is rinsed with water following administration.
5. Client lies supine for 15 minutes following administration.
@@deonlewis3397 it was driving me crazy because it’s an automatic fail if I miss all 13 select all that apply questions. I’m a new student and it seems like I wouldn’t get that many select all that apply questions so fast🤷🏽♀️
I really need help and struggling and I'm in the nursing program
Thank you,
13:40 Can anyone explain why this answer to the question is administer pain meds and not assess? Like how do we know there was a Dr order for a prn? Is it because its the second day after surgery and therefore we just assume? Sorry, I just had this on my last exam and I picked this answer and got it wrong and just want to know why.
More pls
i do not get the last one
Are your questions from ATI?
No, they just help you prepare for it
Hi Dr. D and Hi everyone one!
If anyone knows, please help me answer these questions.
1. A patient just has had mastectomy. What statement by the client make the nurse has the most concern?
A. I will ever be love by anyone ( Something like that )
B. I don’t feel like I want to take to my spouse about the surgery.
2. Based on Brandon Scale. Which element is not increased risk for pressure ulcer?
A. Too much nutrients intake
B. weight
C. Activity
D. Mobility
3. A nursing student is in the hospital. The nurse asks her to do dressing change for client. The skill she hasn’t learned. what is the best response.
Thank you so much! I believed that I have heard in one of Dr. D video. Just couldn’t find it again.
1. a is more concerning, but doesn't have to do with the question...
2.D
3. Doesn't make sense either ✌
1 looks like A
3 is ask her instructor or she would need to be oriented. It's within her scope of practice so refusal is off the table unless she's a CNA
@@deonlewis3397 Thank you
@@newtempphone-ash9507 Thank you
انا دخلت التمريض بالغلط شلون اطلع
18:35 Hahahahaha
The nurse reports that a client is at risk for a brain attack (stroke) finding?
a. Jugular vein distention
b. Palpable cervical lymph node
c. Carotid bruit
d. Nuchal rigidity
Can someone help me with this question?
Probably D
Hi Professor D I started fundament nursing I never have the good grade how can you help me about that
C. Carotid Bruit That could indicate carotid artery disease narrowing of the carotid artery.. if your arteries are clogged you are at risk of a stroke
PLEASE, do not forget to go over the incorrect answers!👩🏽⚕️
