Hi Devin! It’s me Galdos! Just want to thank Chip, Josh , you and the whole crew at chip designs for treating me as family and for putting together the dream of my life time! I know now my parents are riding with me and my family and they love it! You guys made my car a masterpiece and I will always be great full to all of you! Also thanks for all the wonderful videos on the car! They are awesome! Great job Devin!
Beautiful car mate, enjoy and drive the wheels off it.best wishes to you and yours from South West Western Australia.
Awesome car. What wheels are on the car?
What a perfect California car. Congrats it is beautiful
Nobody beats a Foose restomod...nobody. Enjoy that car V! Man, if I had the dough, I'd like Foose to work his magic on a 66 Fairlane...MY dream car! lol
Victor, thank you for the opportunity to build your dream car. Glad you have enjoyed the videos as much as we did making them.
How you know your dealing with the right company. The boss is on the floor polishing the car and doing the pin stripes.
I feel like watching Foose design up the game is something I have been doing my entire life. From his work with Boyd to to overhaul to the new work that makes us all stop and look. Always on top. Someday I would like to shake your hand Chip Foose. God bless.
Besides being an amazing artist, talented builder and attention to detail, it’s delivering more than the customer expected! Chip personally buffed the car at no extra charge is amazing!
Before commenting, I read many of the comments below. I can only echo: Chip Foose is the greatest of what he does, create dreams. I grew up in the '50's, and seeing one of my favorites ( the 1956 Chevy ) restored and improved made tears run down. I can't tell you how many times I have watched the video's of the Imposter and Impression builds: UNBELIEVABLE craftsmanship and vision. I loved the expressions and comments from Victor after seeing and driving this masterpiece. God Bless you Chip and the entire crew.🙂
I have to say that the color is beautiful and the stance and sound is perfect for a 1956 restore with the best of the old time style and modern drivability. Again Foose does what we all wished it would be been built from the start.
It is NOT a restoration, it is a restomod, basically a fake restore.
Man... I’ve seen many things you’ve done that I didn’t understand at first, but in all the builds I’ve NEVER seen anything I didn’t love. Chips the MAN!
I love that color combination on a ‘56. This year of “Shoebox Chevy” doesn’t get enough love.
I am absolutely love this color 😎🙏🏼🙌🏼
My dream car is a 56 Nomad, same color scheme!
One of the best "Shoebox" builds I have ever seen. Period.
he is so lucky to have had chip work on his ride ! so cool!
We definitely need more content! LOVE Chip Foose!!!
Listen to that laugh...
Mr. Victor Galdos, We can see you’re a happy man! Congratulations!!!
One day I hope to send Chip a car he has never worked on in his shop.
Chip has done what Chip does best... He makes dreams come true...
That hug Chip Foose got from his customer...priceless 👌🏿😘👌🏿😘👌🏿😘
i’d buy any car sight unseen from foose. it’s a guy you can trust. you know what kind of quality you get each time.
I'm at a loss for words when it comes to seeing the beauty that Chip brings to life. I'm very much a purist when it comes to classic cars. Chip is a wizard with cars. I'd be a puddle of tears if this were my car that he had refinished. Absolute pure joy. It's obvious the owner of this car was giddy as a school boy when he got to see what the Foose team did.
I love the color combo! Modernizing it does not kill the vintage it insures the future! I'd love the same thing done to 63 Riviera!
You're a good man Foose! This gentleman is genuinely touched by your work on his 56.
Love your sketching vids also.
Cars are memories. Memories are cars. Memories are relationships, with fathers, grandfathers, kids, grandkids. Great job keeping the memories going for Victor. Watching this brings back memories I had with my father and cars that were in our life.
Best damn car shop in USA! Chip is awesome.
Wow. Just wow. The car is outstanding but the people are the best part of the video. Well done.
Mr. Foose , your drawings are some of the best designs I ever seen when your show was on TV. I remember I seen somewhere you were a designer for either GM or one of the major manufacturers. I am an autobody repair technician for Autohaus in Williamsburg Va. I've owned my own small independent auto body and paint business, Poquoson autobody. I've been in the business since 1987. I dont know your opinion on the knew vehicles being produced but these vehicles are made of so much plastic now days it's a totally knew experience to be able to repair these. I strive myself in doing as close to perfect repairs as possible. I hope to see you again on TV someday. God bless you Mr. Foose and your unbelievable skills
This was the first new car I ever bought. I was a young soldier in Germany and purchased the car sight unseen. I picked it up in New Jersey on my return to the US. It was a wonderful trip across the country with snow storms, thunderstorms, long days driving until I arrived home in California. I will never forget my Chevy BelAire.
This is what I love about Foose design. They can do blue sky projects as well as beautiful basic updates...
I know Victor was very happy about his old 1956 Chevy Bel Air-Looks Terrific
His reaction was priceless i see why chip does what he does.
My first car, in 1970, was a 57 BelAir, gold over yellow--(not the prettiest, but it was mine)--265 c.i. 4 bbl Rochester PowerGlide. It was a cruiser. Bought it for $140, sold it for $250! Still wish I hadn't sold it. Thanks for the memories. THIS is the way to do resto-mod!
I'm impressed! I didn't think the Foose Design shop even knew how to let a car roll out of the bay with period correct wheels and tires.
It is so beautiful - Well done - and it sounds awesome 👍
More than just a flawless build, BRAVOOOO for the owner to keep it looking totally stock - even the so-called "too-big" steering wheel. I personally love the original old wheel on classics One of my favorite elements. That shrunken thick steering wheel just throws off the interior in my opinion. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT resto-mod.
True craftsmanship.
Godbless... This man who is doing this car to new magic Chevy
Wow, just as much thought and effort put into the interior as the body work. Great work from all involved.
Consummate professionals in every way. A man's dream come true. Great story, great video.
Congratulations 🎉🍾🎈 to owner technicians and Chip on a magnificent Chevrolet!!!
God is good!!!
Thanks for letting us be part of your journey
When I was 6 years old my dad had a 56 Belair 4 door two ton color light green and dark green.
Foose brought the kid back to him. A big cheer from Brazil!
Great to see the work in the shop without a ”script”. Awsome !
Dam Chip, you and your crew did it again! The look on his face when he first sees his car is priceless. My best friend was lucky enough to meet you and some of your friends this summer when you were in Wyoming. It's really cool to know you are still doing all of the hands on work, and not just setting behind the desk! Can't tell you how cool it is to see the next project that you come up with. I'm just one of your fans!
I love Foose - Seems like a nice guy!
Would love to know the cost of having this done I love the stock look with all the modern bits
Just shows you what a true talent and a real stand up guy Chip Foose really is! Beautiful car!
Love a 56. My first car back in 1968
Great to see that Chip isn’t just doing extremely fancy one-offs but also these kind of projects. The guy sounded really happy to rid himself of all the half ass work done to the car before !
Beautiful 56. Art on wheels and as always Chip and his team deliver. My hat's off to you guys. Maybe one day I can be blessed and have you and your team do a complete job on my 1968 Impala 2 Dr custom . God willing
My first car (and my dream car) was a '56 Belair. I like that you kept the same two-tone bench seats with the silver piping. Mine were black and white. I like that you kept a mostly stock dash. Mine was black and you kept that original BIG steering wheel. Mine had manual steering and brakes and the 265. Mine was kind of a turquoise blue, but I really like the two-tone paint on this car. I got my car around 1972 and owned it for a couple of years until I was forced to sell it to go off to college. Back then, we "jacked up" the back of the car and used looser shocks in the front and stiffer shocks in the rear for weight transference. I am not as much of a fan of the chopped/low-rider look, but otherwise this car is a beauty. The owner had tears in his eyes. Understand. Great job.
All it needed was a little Foose Juice! Excellent as always.
Now that's a scary sound with some revs. Absolutely soul tingling noise.
I liked that sound change when he first activated the cutout while idling.
So Elegant, love that owner is so happy. A great reward for truly top work!
Very classy '56. Thank you for sharing Chip.
Beautifully done, thank you.
Love the color. I love seeing people’s reaction to the finished product. Chip and his team do amazing work. I hope he enjoys the car and I’m sure his dad is riding along with him with a big smile.
Just another beautiful ride turned out by Foose and his crew, Chip is my car hero !!!!!!!
Beautiful work, as always! A 1956 Bel Air was my older brother's first car, he says that he wished that he still had it. Like that the 1956-63 Cal plate is on the front!
Chip, I saw your artwork for an updated Jeep Cherokee, hope FCA gets pictures of it, they will need a great design, like yours to compete with the massive success that the new Ford Bronco will have!!!
Other than a ‘57 Bel Air this would be my favorite classic Chevy. Of course,Chip would make such a beautiful Resto-mod If I ever hit the lottery I would want him to make me car like this.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Nicely done!! Thanks for sharing!!
Awesome video! I love the Beat Farmers reference at @8:41
Pure emotion. Thanks for sharing.
Really beautiful work Chip! I send you all my friendship from France. Take care, we are stuck again...
Beautiful car and wonderful story another great job by all those at Foose Design.
I have a new love for the “56”. Well done.
Well done Chip and the team. Great job.
A Class organization and great people- From the top down. Congrats on all your accomplishments.
That ride is perfect 👌
I somehow found your webpage looking for an old friend using your last name. I watched this whole video and was deeply impressed with the sheer passion, workmanship and professionalism. You guys are really talented. That Bel Air is a real beauty and the copper/orange paint and accents really makes this car stand out. The chassis mods and engine works, electrics are off the scale of excellence.I am a total fan of Foose Design. Bravo and well done!
Thank you. Did you ever find your friend?
Restomod is the best of both worlds. Sharp!
Those red covers... painted by chip himself.... Now priceless !!
when i was 17 i bought my 56 Belair, which was almost a new car .originally seafoam green ,it was repainted maroon and silver. Around 1975 I decided i wanted a colour change again and resprayed it Copper bronze metallic and Cream ,it looked for all the world just this coupe. My interior was typical 56 belair, in black and white with silver piping and factory stock. One of those cars I wished I had never sold.
But..... what is impressive to me as a VW owner, is that type III pick up, which is pretty neat!.
Was waiting for someone to drop something loud while painting the covers, haha! You and the crew doing a great job! Customer will love it.
Quality professional job done by men who have heart who strive for the very best to please the the person who counts the customer great job, by Foose and company cheers!!!
56 chev Belair is the ultimate mussel car of the 50s and the ford of the same year was hot too!!.😎♥️🇺🇸
Absolutely incredible and beautiful machine. Fantastic owner story. Perfect colors and stance 😎👍🏆
You can’t knock perfection. Awesome work guys.👍🏽👍🏽👌🏾👌🏾😎😎
The owner gave me goosebumps
Wow fantastic
Very touching 👋👋👋👍😍
Petey has a low key, Clint Eastwood, breathy growl when he speaks. Always preceded by a thoughtful pause.
Waou Magnifique travail toujours aux top 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
Awesome video today thanks from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺.
COOL, love the 56. Smashing colors
Another awesome car from Foose Design total perfection 👌
Those knee sox are epic brother.🤣
Love the series! Been there done that on a '55 and '57 rotisserie restos.
Very nice work, came out gorgeous !
Love the color combo! 👍👍👍
Perfectly done.
That caramel color would look good on a mid-late 2000s Mustang with some silver stripes.
One of my dream cars is a 55-57 Bel Air. Now that I kind of have the money to buy one, I can't because diabetes screwed up the retina in my good eye. My other eye has been legally blind since I was a kid. And now both eyes are. So driving any of my dream cars will never happen. Enjoy the car for me Victor.
Looks my mother car when I was 10. We loved that car! V8.
Beautiful belair.
Very heartfelt , i know your being sincere and my heart goes out to you and your family. Godbless you and your family and please be safe .
Well done Chip. I love it.
Great build, looks really Nice 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Just simply stunning.
Chip, I did the exact same paint scheme to my 55 Chevy back in 1962. But, I painted the valve covers dark blue and painted the lettering in silver. Looked damn good, but, the car never went any faster!!! Brahaha!
Great video. Beautiful car . Great teamwork to bring up to this level . I've had a 56 Belair for 40 years almost . Its never been on the road since I've owned it (sigh) ,,, High school car .....Originally it also was this color combo . Someday (soon) I'd like to have it half this nice . Drivable and in primer would be a great start !!!! Once again , great work to all involved .... Inspiring!!
Excelente trabajo amigos!!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏
Man...what I wouldn't give to have Chip restore a car for me. Always love the work they do on EVERY vehicle. Great work guys!
Now that's a happy customer right there.
Lovely Build, for a truly lovely man
