The retail pair is so inconsistent, it really doesn’t matter if you have a replica pair, they look 1:1 anyway, as long you wear them and don’t sell them on StockX as a real pair I really don’t care.

ive seen a lot of real ones and the gap between the stitching and the corner of the swoosh is never that big.
The difference in amount of tumble in the leather has to be dismissed. Not just with this release, but with multiple Jordan 1's, I've personally had multiple retail pairs with completely different levels of tumble. I truly wish NIKE could improve the consistency on that so it could be a dependable benchmark, but it sadly isn't

great vid man! first time checking out the channel. A lot of good info. Like others have said the quality control from Nike on these were abysmal. I got 1 from TS website and 1 from Footaction in Chicago. The ones I grabbed from Chicago were like rookie of the year quality with bred to leather on the toebox if that makes sense. The ones I got from TS website were MUCH better quality that it is almost noticeable just by looking at them. suede/nubuck was nicer and softer, toebox leather was tumbled and super soft. Also TS pair the stitching is close to the Nike sign. FA pair is farther away. It sucks that nike didn't do a better job being consistent with these so fakes would be more easily spotted.

Black light helps big time in legit checking. W a black light little things like the method used to paint the midsole or thread used around the toe box will illuminate different allowing you to see the differences that the counterfeiters overlooked. Makes it a lot easier if you have a pair you know is legit to compare it to.
You cant compare the tumble..I've got a pair of threes where the tumble is different from left and right shoe.

Not only that, EVERY Travis authentic is made differently. You talking about the stitching near the swoosh....you're wrong. Look at 6 authentics next to each other. The stitching never matches and all are different compared to the swoosh placement.

The gap between the black lining and the outside swoosh is non existent in the pair of the laces and the other pair. Like you said I really think you have to look at the shape and the smell and determine. The stitching is always a little wonky

If you look closely at the normal side of air Jordan 1’s of the legit pair you can actually see the Cactus Jack logo - 16:14 min

i feel like these aren’t very air tight arguments. there are some differences but overall unless you’re looking at them super closely they look the same
It's sad to say that Nike's QC was SO POOR on these shoes, because it was such a rushed release, so you guys gotta be EXTRA CAREFUL, tons been getting through StockX!!!💯 The easiest way to tell is the suede color, swoosh height, the tumbled leather, especially on the swoosh, & the stitching oh the lateral side, should be close to the swoosh, but don't let the "Cactus Jack" logo be the end all, be all to buying, some retails are embossed crappy too. There's WAY BETTER BATCHES of replica's or there than these, so you guys be careful out there!

Because it has that booty backstroke all over lol the fakes have way less bootybackstroke (suede hair movement)

the real one is glossy paint and the fake us matte
The length between stitching and the swoosh is different for most real pairs itself! So it's not a major thing. Length can be much but they can be real. Nike was very inconsistent with this shoe.
