For the color, I applied some kiwi conditioning oil then hit it with an eraser and it darkened the suede up really good.

Thanks to all of the pairs being botted by re-sellers and "sneaker investors" nowadays, I'm honestly thinking about buying my first pair of reps instead of paying the $500-$5000 for some pairs I really, really wanted but was unable to cop. And LJR looks to have some of the best AJ1 Reps I've seen. These look incredible. Back when they dropped, I liked everything about them, but my wardrobe at the time just...a brown sneaker just wouldn't have worked well, I'll put it that way 😅 But a lot has changed since then. Still not going to pay the insane re-sale prices for these though.
I have a great collection of authentic Jordans/Forces/lots of older Flyknit stuff/a lot of the Off-White x Nike/Jordan collabs/and a ton of SBs (been collecting SB Dunks since I was in HS way back, and have kept all of my favorites) as far as Nike goes. Lots of pretty rare stuff that I absolutely love. But the Sneaker "scene"/community has changed SO much for the worst. Anybody who's been to a lot of sneaker events past and present has probably seen exactly what I have... It just sucks. And even though hype seems to be dying down on certain Sneakers, I think a lot of that has to do with people having less money to spend now than they did 2020/2021 when everything was booming. I think it'll be back there within a few years but we'll see. It's honestly nice to see Jordans sit on SNKRS for once in quite a while.
But the collabs/hyped colorways? Going up against the dudes paying thousands or whatever for a bot and grabbing 50-100+ pairs of a super hyped/limited release?! Good. Fucking. Luck. I just hate that they end up with so many pairs while hundreds and hundreds of thousands of people who REALLY wanted a W that morning either go and pay insane re-sale, or it may actually get them all depressed or whatever. I'm so over that shit. No way would I spend thousands on a pair of Nikes/Jordans made in Asia that retailed for under $200. Not when reps have come THIS far.

Set some time aside, and get ready to do a lot of reading. Unless you want to get scammed/bait and switched/just end up with shit reps. The rep subs have all the info you'd ever need for anything sneaker or clothing related. I've been buying and collecting authentic sneakers for like 20 years now... And the current state of the sneaker scene has pushed me into reps piquing my interest for the very first time. I could buy an authentic pair of these if I wanted to, but why would I want to spend THAT on a pair of Jordans made in Asia? Nah.
Reddit has seriously been a godsend when it comes to any and all info you would ever want or need for anything rep related.

All those names don’t exist in china. They’re just marketing names . Factories in china don’t have names or batches. It’s either top quality or budget quality.
FK. midsole and swoosh colors are slightly more accurate and the suede is a tiny bit closer to retail. also much cheaper than LJR.

@@Throwawayaccount38252 As it stood at the time of me writing that comment, FK Batch STILL was the best batch -- everyone in the rep community would tell you this. Go on it and you will see forums still even saying it, though PK 4.0 might potentially be stealing the glory today for their more accurate color.
RW Batch has a better color as well, along with the right hair length, but has a worse shape than FK and PK 4.0.
I know my shit man, researched hard as hell cuz I am NOT paying 1.5k for a shoe.

FK is not consistent in nubuck quality, (my pair is actually good Ngl) FK has some major tongue bleeding problems and I feel as if the toe box shape has gotten worse on the newer ones, PK 4.0 main flaw is heel shape, RW is not good at all imma be real, the stitching is not it, LJR has a great batch imo

These are too light in color
All the fakes are like that. I explained it in the video. They never get it right.
Retails all vary so there’s no point in mentioning. You can have one retail pair but once you have multiple ones or at least seen multiple ones you’ll see how that doesn’t matter. It’s the midsole color they never get correct for whatever reason
Anyways you can use things to darken that suede with some spray and suede brush
