💑 About Hercules Candy
Hercules Candy has been on Steve’s side of the family since 1910(ish). When he took over in the 70’s, he anticipated after 10 years of hard work, he could move the business out of the basement and into a real storefront. Unfortunately, it took until 2018 for that to happen, but hey at least it happened! Steve and Terry own the shop, Craig (the social media manager) is their son, Cara (wrapper and shipper extraordinaire who is poised to take over the shop one day) is their daughter and Leah (who doesn’t love being on camera and is very elusive) is their oldest daughter. Karen has been working for Hercules Candy since the twins (Craig and Cara) were about 6 months old and everybody else is a new recruit. Don’t forget to subscribe and hit the 🔔 for more videos!

I'm emotionally invested in Quick Steve, hope he doesn't get fired anytime soon.
I hope so too!
@@Ellie5621yes, where is Cooper? I haven’t seen him in a hot month or so.
@@Ellie5621 @rachelcookson3492 Cooper left at the end of the summer to go work somewhere else
maybe we should contact corporate and let them know.
Ezra, you are in a great family company. Hope you stick around. We as viewers welcome you.
Awesome to have Craig back behind the camera. Brings back memories of the basement videos
Props to Ezra, not only do you have to learn to do a new job, but you almost become a star on YT as a side effect- which I'm glad this wonderful family takes into account 😂 And props to Julia for being hand enrober and Steve for liberal decoration 😂
Darn! I thought for a second Max was back to help out with the Christmas rush
Me too
haha no he has a job while we're open like most people now so that's not going to happen 😂although it would be very fun!
I thought the exact same thing lol!
My annual Xmas order arrived super quickly a couple days ago. Everything is amazing,! Shoutout to Cara for the handwritten note. Thank you so much!
You definitely can see they don’t skimp on ingredients ! Steve is very generous adding ingredients !
Welcome Ezra! Hope you hang around for a long time, Julia is picking up everything, makes it looks so easy !
I remember Terry's brother showing us how to use the caramel cutter! And that bark looks soooo good. ❤❤❤
The Caramel Cutting School has certainly reduced the class time required to learn this skill. That's progress from the basement days to the present. Thanks to Joe.
Great memories.
Welcome to the new guy, Ezra, another handsome man in the shop!
Welcome Ezra!
Welcome to the new guy .The new bark looks awesome.God bless you all.
Thanks, you too Jean!
Hi Ezra! Looking forward to seeing you make candy!
Welcome Ezra :)
I wish you the best Ezra. Have fun working with this wonderful family. It seems that the Andrianos family treats all of their employees like they are members of their family.
Hi Ezra, you have joined the best family candy company there is! Good job 😁👍
Ezra is a great addition to the team.Julia is the bomb, she is such a natural.Let's go team,Xmas around the corner.
Welcome New Guy, officially 😊
Hello Ezra welcome to the Hercules Candy Family. Sit back and enjoy the Baloney and Shenanigans and fun candy making that goes on at the Hercules Candy shop.
Thanks for sharing awesome content that is fun enjoyable and entertaining to watch.
Hello Ezra, nice to meet you…😊 welcome to HC family 👋🏼
Such a great channel
Glad to meet you Ezra. Lots to learn but what a great place!
I was upstairs watching this video. My mom was downstairs making Christmas cookies. At about the time you started pouring melted chocolate over the marshmallow and coconut, the smell of melted chocolate came wafting upstairs. For a brief moment, I was thinking "Good heavens! I can actually smell it! How did they do that!?!"
Haaa! Perfect timing!
😂❤
All the best & bon voyage on your candy journey Ezra! I'm sure you'll enjoy working with the gang at Hercules, as long as you have a sense of humour & like a laugh now & then.
Watching Steve mix the bark made me want to do it sooo much. A return to childhood & making mudpies. 😄 Seeing Terry run away at the end had me hoping she doesn't go near any walls. 😉
Ezra is already fitting in great! And don't worry, no walls were hurt in the making of this video
@@HerculesCandy Glad to hear your walls are safe. 😄 Wishing y'all a safe & happy holiday season & all the best in the coming new year.
Omg I love coconut! That candy mixture looks amazing. Hope the new guy loves his candy making job. Such a great crew to work with: Look forward to watching the Christmas creations.❤️
Great to see you growing
I love the way Steve uses that “swizzle” move with his fingers to mix that delicious looking bark! And he’s not throwing the coconut, he’s broadcasting it😂. Farmers will know what that means
It caught me off guard 😂 but yes it absolutely does look like a farmer spreading seeds or fertilizer or something lol
Yupper❣️ Hereere chick, chick ,chick, chick🐥🐤🐥🐤🐓🐥🐤 🥰
That Toasted Coconut Marshmallow Bark looks yummy! So do the chocolate caramels!
Y’all stay safe during the stormy days ahead! Prayers for all you! ♥️🙏♥️
Welcome to Hercules, enjoy the ride. 🎉🎉
Awesome for the New employee
I liked how Cooper did not wasted paper. When covering candy. His synchronization was awesome.
What happened with Cooper?

A drizzle of white chocolate would delicious on the toasted coconut marshmallow bark.
Can’t wait to try this! Welcome to Ezra🥰🤗
When i was a kid i remember tasting a toasted coconut caramel mallow. I was done in. It was a sunday school party and i remember being so happy i could eat as many as i wanted. The best thing id ever tasted! Run, Terry...im right after you! 😂
Steve makes the video worth watching no matter who helps him. But i love when your mother comes on too
This video has everything! caramel, chocolate, even marshmallows! I can't stop crying
And toasted cocoanut...wah-wah-wah...I want some nowww😢
That's okay, you don't need to stop crying!
Oh that looks so good! 😊 Chocolate before dinner! 😮. 😊
Biscotti Bark!
I thought it would be Max, I miss him he should come back to help for Christmas! Love you guys
Nice to something other than hard candy! Thank you!
Cool Candy Making as Usual
Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 everyone, coconut 🥥 is my favorite too , looks good yummy you guys making . 🤟🏻
Now I know what I can work with, with you guys. I can take care of the scraps. No problems.
Welcome Ezra!!! Looking forward to getting to know you! you will be expected to be good at witty banter like the rest of the fam!!!! No pressure though. 😂 I'm sure you'll do great! ❤
I'm emotionally invested in coconut marshmallows being lovingly massaged by Steve .. -dreamy..
Oh dear, Woops .. I went a bit sideways there... sorry, this is about Ezra ?! !
Welcome Ezra! 😂❤ ❤ Look forward to seeing you in future videos (we have noticed you and wondered when we would meet you 😊 x)
Ya’ll need a new jig for your caramel cuts. It’s wonky because the blade guide itself has too much wiggle room. Love your family business and videos!!! Thank you for sharing!
Welcome to the new Candy-Maker!
The new bark looks very tasty.
Welcome to the family 🥰🥰
I got my order of these and omg they are delicious. So glad I ordered them. Keep up the candy making deliciousness.
Hello, Ezra! I hope you enjoy your time at Hercules. Thanks for helping to make delicious treats for us all!
Also, I like your beard. :)
Also, Craig, beautiful photos!
Toasted coconut marshmallow bark...sounds like a yummy addition to the Hercules Bark Pantheon!! 😋😍
Julia is a great teacher!
I just found your channel and subscribed I love it what a fun bunch of people and love to watch how things are made! Viewer for life
I hope you go back to the start and watch one old video for every new one.
@@byronmurphy1977 oh I have been binge watching lol love you guys! Merry Christmas 🎄
@A_New_View
That is what I did.
Merry Christmas to you, too.
I just placed my order and made sure to get the toasted coconut marshmallow and was so excited when I seen Hercules Candy calling my phone and when I picked it up it was Terry 😊 I was star struck Among all the candy I ordered I also ordered a box of mixed chocolates and had noted that my granddaughter was allergic to peanuts and to please not place any in the box. Terry was calling to let me know there could be cross-contamination and would that be a problem now how sweet is that and thoughtful! I love you all Merry Christmas
0:25 Oh yeah! The Man Steve!! 🎉
Only the OG ones know who made that contraption for the caramel 😁
Gonna guess big Joe?
So happy to see chocolate work again
Toasted coconut everything!
I could eat one of those caramel steaks whole and love ever second of it. -Neal
Steve does the job that every kid dreams of having!
If you put a Mylar sheet or cut a flexible cutting board to fit the Carmel jig cutter, it would be simple to pull the sheet up to advance the Carmel. That’s how they cut soap . Look at the soap cutting jigs. They are very similar and soap is sticky like the Carmel. And there may be one of the soap cutters that would be faster, they work with similar square logs that have several sub cuts
I've been watching past videos. This is the first current one. Welcome to Isaiah! I would have loved to work for you guys❤ I really enjoy watching everyone work making my favorite food group. You are such a happy crew! Thanks for sharing your talent with us! 😊
His name is Ezra.
@@mel924 You know, when I wrote Isaiah something about it seemed wrong. Apologies to Ezra.
Welcome to this amazing candy family, Ezra! 😁
My sister was in town this week and we met at a family event in Skaneatelas today. After, she said, hey let's go to East Syracuse and check out this candy company I follow on CZcams... So we did. And it was a lovely visit and we came home with a nice selection of choice candies, but didn't see the bark or the chocolate covered caramels! We'll have to stop back in next time we're in the area and look harder. She is a happy camper and I'm a new subscriber.
In Northern Indiana, we have a company (Claey's candies) that makes a candy similar to what you made except they add peanuts also...its called chocolate Charlie. Leah may have seen it when she lived in Indiana. Merry Christmas Hercules candy Family
Have you thought of using your candy panning machine as a faster way to mix up some of the bark mixes
Hello from Yorkshire in UK 👋🏼🍬
.
I clicked quicker than Quick Steve can stretch ribbon candy! 🍭
When you spread the toasted coconut on top of chocolate use a shaker like the use for cheese to put on pizza
I hope you guys understand that we care for Craig and his family. We understand business is business.
Have you tried toasting the marshmallows for the bark? Spread them out and use a torch to lightly toast. Leather marshmallows cool so they aren't as smushy. Mix the toasted coconut into chocolate before pouring over marshmallows. Adds another layer of flavir.
You guys should try to make toasted coconut and slivered almond bark. But toasted slivered almonds if possible. That sounds like it would be delicious. It's kind of a take on Almond Joy but different 😊
omg lime white chocolate and that's Christmas heaven. The best job ever
Welcome to the candy making family Ezra! We were wondering when we would find out who you are, lol
I got my order recently and my boys love their advent calendars 📅
What happened to Copper?
Coveted 4 or 5 livestreams ago
Welcome Ezra 😄
Now you brought back memories of another employee. The enrobing and paper-cutting part.
Hey my name is Ezra it’s awesome to know there are more of us out there lol
I just could not handle candy like that! I tried after watching your video and ended up using a spatula. Can't stand the feeling even through gloves! New appreciation for the art.
That toasted coconut looks yummilicious...maybe on the next order...if it's a hit and still there
Welcome Ezra😊 Julia you’re doing a fantastic job and I love watching you giving it to Scott. 😂
Make's you wonder who the real bully is 🤔
Welcome Ezra, it's hard to learn on camera!
Just came to see if it was Max.
Love the videos I'm from the UK. Just wondering..starburst chewy sweets in the UK were called opal fruits originally..I was wondering if in the USA they had them in the 60s 70s ? Also I think there was a spearmint version called pacers ..they had the same soft chewy texture like starbust but spearmint they were amazing and everyone who remembers them would love them back ! Could a spearmint flavour starburst shape and texture be made ? I'd love them and would sell in huge numbers x
My teeth hurt just looking at that awesomeness lol
To cut the paper, keep the cutter at a very low angle. I install cabinets, and when it comes to cutting the edge tape, the blade moves smoother at a shallow angle, instead of steep angle.
Ps...peanut butter cups are the best haha
Well, HOWDY, Era!🤠👋❤️
I don't see Cooper in the videos much anymore so I was wondering if I missed something?
Covered 4 or 5 livestreams ago
I can’t watch this when I’m hungry. My mouth is watering now!
Maybe try toasted coconut, toasted almond and orange peel in mixed dark , white and milk chocolate bark
Can you also make this in dark chocolate please!! Don't forget about us dark chocolate lovers out there. This would be great with pretzel pieces in it too. ❤❤🍫
Mmmmmm…the bottom of the bark bag on oatmeal! ❤
After the toasted 🥥, drizzle DARK chocolate across the bark! Yummy 😋
I was thinking white chocolate.
When cutting the caramel after the first set of cuts why don't you put a couple stacked on top of each other in the miter box to cut into the skinny sizes? If sticking is an issue can you put a sheet of parchment paper in between the single square cuts? I would think this would save a step.
Ezra welcome to the candy clan!☺️ You ot my dream job👍. Just don't get Quick Steve fired 🫢!
I smell it!
🤩
you need to add raisins to this bark!!!
It is the holiday season.. .MORE KAREN!!
🐴 welcome Ezra!! I just thought of this, Julia and Scott would make a good couple, just kidding. Great to see a new recipe. Love you all!
Cutting the caramel reminded me of the way people cut cold process soap. lol I wonder if any of those tools would work for the caramel?
Can I get recommendations for which brand of oils to get, my son and I want to make hard candy for Christmas? Thank you
On the caramel loaf slicer. Why not have grooves measured out all the way down so you dont have to wrestle with it?
I personally don’t like coconut, but marshmallows with crushed nuts of any kind would be soo yummy 🤤
