Definitely get some alcohol pads for the outer bits like the back and front, it evaporates quick and I do that one my iPhone

You should try a scouring pad like they use for dishes,(scrubber, scrub, scrubby) and rubbing alcohol too. I’ve had to clean many phones and that makes it pretty easy for the most part
I recommend Clorox wipes or Lysol wipes. Just make sure they are not soaked. Would clean that screen and outer case in no time. Then use the window cleaner. Toothpicks, they get into those grooves better. These are the items I use to clean my controllers and phone.
The bit where u get out the dust from the charger bit is always satisfying for me and my phone is an huawei also the top is a bit separated from the front top like it's cracked

I would’ve washed the case under running water to soften up those smudges, then cleaned it and let it dry. I’d even use soapy water on that.

I live in quebec. 2 years ago, It was summer and I had no job. My dad says that the transport minister look for new worker. So I applied. I could tell you that in one summer, my phone got that dirtiest. It's from all the dirt moved, all the chemical in the air (I was doing road), all the water that was moved in everytimes. All this shit got my phone that dirtiest and it's really easy to got that dirty. You need to clean it everyday to keep your phone clean but not everybody has the time to do so.
Edit: I reminds that I forgot to give you the tip. If you don't want to get your phone dirty and you work on construction, buy a phone protector for shower. It's like a little rubber transparent pocket that you can put your phone in and you can still tap on the phone but it is protected
