When I found out that Mackenyu got the role as Zoro, I was like oh this is Enishi! Good casting for Zoro! From the perspective of anime, if I were to choose a swordsman; then Kenshin is way above Zoro…! 🥹🥹😍😍 This is because, the depth of character of Kenshin in the anime and even in Live action was also much more concentrated and heart wrenching…. However, I don't think "born to be Zoro" is a negative comment though, for me it just means that Zoro, as the character in anime, can only be perfectly portrayed by Mackenyu in live action since Zoro is a skilled fighter and the best swordsman
I liked Enishi but I don’t like the tacked on Yakuza subplot. I thought the way it was done on the OVA was great, with the final duel on the beach, but I guess that wouldn’t be enough content for a feature length film.
