Cool but they might be wrong about the role being given to other from outside Japan had not Mackenyou snatch te role. Since Zoro is japanese the, casting director would want a Japanese actor who can speak English and Mackenyou is the best fit and that's why they offered him to do the audition even after he rejected it first time. There rarely any Japanese actors who can speak English and who will fit the role and mackenyou is definitely well known in anime live action remake so..

I was a huge fan of Miura too but the first work of him I watch is Gokusen 3 because it aired in our country. After that I research about him and watch a lot of his works that I could find in the internet. Such a great actor. I still feel heartbroken at his ending. 😭

Main subway stations in Japan, even tho they are organized but they are still confususing especially for those who'll try it for the first time. Like Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ginza, Ueno, Ikebukuro etc. because they are so huge, so many routes and subway lines. 😅

Just seeing the title got me some goosies. I watched the Brave Gunjyo Senki where they both played a role, which i think is kinda cool and sad at the same time. Cool coz Macken is finally with the one who inspired him to be an actor but sad coz that is also his last chance to work with him. I've seen Miura from the series Agri(his first tv appearance) and been a fan since Gokusen as he played the role of Ren, one of the main students of Yankumi(Yuki Nakama). His death became a puzzle to his fans since he was about to reach new heights of his career coz he was about to go international that time, so the news regarding the cause of his death was quite preposterous, at least for me. I appreciate seeing these kind of clips of artists like Mackenzie talking about his admirations towards him. And i kinda agree, Haruma's portrayal in Koizara(Sky of Love) was outstanding. Btw, Mackenzie, landing the role of Roronoa Zoro wasn't just luck, that role was really meant for you, it's like you reall are, Zoro!
