- As a successful merging of Special Relativity and Quantum Mechanics, Quantum Electrodynamics or QED can explain almost every phenomenon in the universe, earning its name as the "Jewel of Physics". In this three-minute video, we'll find out how light and matter interact in the smallest level, and how it's the little things that truly make the most difference.

Hey Gabriella can you please say which software you've used to make those particles appear on your hand please!
I used Adobe After Effects for the animations. But Premiere Pro for the video editing. :)
Likee! Good job, just wish mine was as good as yours! :(
Thank you so much! My video is just as awesome as yours. :) Good luck!
@@gabriellecendana3185 Good luck to you too! :D
I observed your editing and animation style is not that unique or original. Yours is very similar to Jeffery Chen's and Hillary Andales'. May I say that it is just merely a copy based from my observations. Also, some high fallutin words and equations in your video made the concept very difficult to understand and was not thoroughly explained in layman's terms.
Hi there! While I do admit that I've seen and took some inspiration from Jeffrey's and Hilary's entries (i mean they did WIN so obs all of the next contestants would watch their vids), I would like to clarify that everything, from the script to the animation to the metaphors involved, is completely conceptualized and created by me.
With regards to the explanation, I guess it also depends on the person understanding it. Still, thanks for your critique.
I see. But, do take note that I didn't stated that your whole video process is a copy. What I am referring is the editing and animation style itself. Please check my antecedent again. Maybe you should have added some more of a personal twist in it just like what the recent winner this year had done.
And, isn't the goal of this competition to communicate science effectively to the public no matter what their backgrounds or intellectual capacities are? For example, the equation you included doesn't make sense since you only briefly explained it and not thoroughly. Thus the audiences will be confused as to how the variables and elements on it could be applied and such. And isn't the objective also of the communicator to make the information understandable or digestible for all?
I am glad you appreciated and accepted my criticisms. I'm hoping it will help you grow in your future videos. Cheers.
