Lol good job...I got hit with the heavy wind and snow in the north east lower last year 19" of snow and it was blowing 35-45 mph complete white out just about every 20 min I had to stop waking to cover my face for 10 min.... Oh was it fun... Are ya planning on coming back to Michigan this year
Dude you get some monster snowstorms up there in the UP!!!! If I tag out in Wisconsin and Minnesota I may go back! It is not an easy hunt for sure, tough to find a good track, but man it is a fun place to be!!!
We need a wolf season something fierce. Damn DNR doesn't care about whitetail hunters, their camps and properties.
Yeah, it’s terribly frustrating dude… Unfortunately, the DNR doesn’t have much of a saying it at all because all the liberal judges out west keep putting them back on the endangered species list… They tie everybody’s hands behind their backs!
Every buck tracker with a firearm is a complete amateur compared to the UP's gray wolves. They track 24/7/365. They are making UP hunting very difficult for us. All last winter they were chasing deer out of the traditional yarding areas into residential areas. Ornamental cedar hedges and trees that have been undisturbed in Negaunee forever were destroyed last winter by the displaced deer.
Wolves are the best hunters out there!! They are killing machines and they go where the food is! Even here in Wisconsin we’re noticing that the deer are spending a lot more time closer towards houses during the winter! They get out in that big woods and it’s a ghost town.
