I love how a simple theory (what happened to Mrs Afton) can solve why Mike is called Mike Schmidt in the original game and the movie timeline.

It’s the 1980’s no judge would give custody of a girl that young to the father if the mother was considered a fit parent. What William probably had was visitation rights. The younger kids probably spent weekends with their father. Williams line of work involved working a lot of weekends but since his work places were considered “kid friendly” he brought the kid or kids with him.
Trust me I’m a child of the 80’s with divorced parents and my father often took me to arcades on the weekend, but I always went home to my mom.

Several theorists have suggested that William planted cameras in his ex’s house before he left.
It’s also possible that the Aftons didn’t divorce until after the Crying Child died.
Either way I believe that is Mrs. Afton’s home.
All that said it’s wasn’t uncommon in this sort of custody arrangement for the kids to spend a week or two in the summer with their father. I never did but I know it was a thing.
So it is technically possible for the boys to be staying with their dad even though their mom had custody.
That might even explain the empty girl’s room. Whoever’s house this is Elizabeth could be with the other parent.
My cousins’s dad would sometimes take the 2 older kids and leave the youngest.
I was literally about to say that - School holidays some legal agreements would state half - half - which would mean one week with mum, one week with dad. Summer holidays would potentially even be two weeks with dad before spending the rest of the holidays with mum.
...and I agree, even now and during the last decade there are multiple upon multiple family courts which still make it increasingly hard for a father to win custody against a mother - appallingly even if he is obviously the better candidate for the main parent role. All a mother has to do is shed a few tears and make a few vague accusations against the father and the courts will side with her immediately. No way in hell he had custody of ANY child in the eighties on his own unless they both came to some kind of agreement outside of court and she either didn't want the daughter/preferred the son to the daughter, or simply agreed to take the son instead of the daughter. @@CarRadio572
Okay okay so me and my sister went over Vanessa's therapy tapes a couple times and we actually have a tight theory. We think Vanessa's backstory is FAKE. It's not even her past. The therapist (named in the books as Raelynn Lawrence) comes in and immediately starts recounting her past- we find out later that she's told what to talk about with her patients (via the files I assume) so she was told to bring up her daddy issues immediately. Vanessa does not audibly confirm whether or not this is her backstory, only says that she was supposed to be a good girl and do what she was told. In the VERY NEXT TWO TAPES, Raelynn establishes that THOSE FILES WERE HACKED. (From the other tapes, we know it was by GGY/Gregory). Rae tells Vanessa that "the same files i have HERE" were hacked, and thus someone could know everything about her. All Vanessa says in response is, "Lots of people know more than I do. Sometimes I need to listen."
After this, Raelynn goes missing. Fast-forward to the fifth therapist (still unnamed), talking to Gregory. She tells Gregory that she looked up his backstory and found out that he had completely fabricated it in their sessions. So HIS backstory was completely faked. If HIS backstory is faked, and he had complete access to Vanessa's files that were given to all of her therapists after the first one was killed, what is to say that he didn't hack into her backstory as well?
The question is, of course, why would Glitchtrap want fake backstories on his vessels, especially if they can be so easily disproven? WELL, consider that the main theory on the Mimic/Glitchtrap is that the Mimic is trying to *recreate the Afton family.* And so it is using the therapists to gaslight the vessels into believing they ARE the Afton family. Gregory is obviously a replacement for Crying Child, and a lot of people speculate that Vanessa is supposed to be the new Elizabeth. Personally, though, me and my sister think that she's supposed to be the new MICHAEL- why would Glitchtrap grab a grown woman to be Elizabeth, when he could use the adult security guard completely under "William's" control as the Michael? (See: RyeToast's theory on how Michael was William's accomplice until SL.)
Our final puzzle piece connection is this- Vanessa's fake backstory. It doesn't line up to be Elizabeth's. We're told that this manipulation made "Vanessa" scared of her father and willing to do whatever he said. The only scene we have of Elizabeth alive, she is directly doing the opposite of what her father said. Obviously it's only one scene, but when you only have such a short time with the character, you need to establish a lot within it, and she's not afraid of him nor will she listen to whatever he says. You know who DOES listen to whatever his dad says? MICHAEL. Mrs. Afton isn't seen or mentioned in the earliest Afton timeline we see- 1983. Instead, Michael is home alone with his crying brother (and likely a toddler/young Elizabeth) while their dad works. You know who would have, in 1982-3, been old enough to speak in a divorce court? MICHAEL. You know who is acting out whenever he's home alone with his brother? MICHAEL. It could be basic tweenage rebellion, or it could be that Michael has already been through a significant trauma and is lashing out. Like, you know, the death of his mother that he may blame himself for...

The idea that Fazbear Entertainment is being run by Mrs. Afton isn’t far off. While yes, it is possible the current owner could be someone brand new, there’s a problem with it.
Who in their right mind would be willing to restart a franchise that’s known to have tragic events, and has had many counts of murder?
Well, this individual would know, and would be willing to build the Pizzaplex over the condemned Pizzaplace that’s the FNAF 6 location, while also knowing what’s in there.
That does beg the question, if Mrs. Afton is the CEO, how would she know the Fazbears Pizzaplace has Aftons remains? Could have just been a lucky guess?
Even the FNAF AR emails seem to suggest Fazbear Ent doesn’t want the virus to spread, which could mean that when Mrs. Afton was getting the circuit boards scanned, she unintentionally caused a computer virus to spread. That virus could be The Mimic program, but that’s another story I’ll touch on in the future.
Even with Glitchtrap being similar to the mimic endo isn’t far off. Glitchtrap mimics the first 5 words tape girl says in the first tape like with the endo mimicking Gregory, he wants to escape his prison like the endo, and wears a costume that’s a similar style to what The Mimic endo would wear in ruins scooper ending.
The only difference, is that Glitchtrap is a mimic of William, and the endo is just a violent animatronic that kills anything it sees.
Overall, I am excited to see The Mimic and Cassie again in the future, and I hope we’ll see Vanessa, Freddy, and Gregory again. Vanessa at least deserves more of the spotlight, given her character is underrated.
Hold on the audio wasn't set to trigger in the security breach Afton family table, it was to trigger in the kitchen where two basic staff bots were behind a door, it was them talking, not the aftons
This actually makes so much sense! Mike Schmidt is a really good comparison and hearing about Clara's possible backstory is amazing!
70 is the current retirement age, so it’s not entirely unbelievable that Mrs. Afton can still be behind the scenes at 70+. Not saying that I’m going to bat for the Mrs.Afton boss argument because irdc, but her age is not a valid reason to dismiss it. Hell, both candidates for President of the United States are over 75; running FazCorp can’t be harder than THAT!

Fun fact in Security Breach in the tapes, it talks about Aftons wife and a custody battle. It’s implied that she did something, but it was cut out of the game, indicating that maybe it was violent or just morbid in general. I’m thinking she k!//3d herself because of what Afton made Elizabeth say to win the case. (ALSO!!) Vanessa would cannonly be forced to think that she’s Elizabeth because of Glitchtrap and the whole implied father dynamic thing, I don’t think they are saying Vanessa is an actual part of the family, she just thinks she’s a daughter of him)
(Also I like to headcannon that Mrs Afton is the popular Clara afton, it makes more sense and is easier. I like to interpret her in my own way and she’s honestly one of my favorite characters)
Good video, but you bring up her age like we don’t have CEO’s in their 70’s in the real world. I don’t think she’s in charge of Fazbear but it’s not her age that makes me doubt

Even then that makes her late 70s at the youngest in present day and Pizzaplex is like 10 years in the future. Mike is in his mid-50s present day.

Often wondered if the "The child isn't mine." was Afton disowning Michael sometime after the death of the crying child.

Or it's being multi-layered with William not accepting Michael and possibly a confession that Circus Baby wasn't made by him and maybe some other stuff

No no what really happened is Willy and Henry were more than just business partners. Elizabeth, Mike, and CC were adopted and is why they all have different physical features. Charlie was Henry’s secret love child. Thus Charlie was murdered first out of jealous hate. This is the obvious answer. Obviously.
(Big joke, but really a Mrs. Afton is a BARELY referenced character so I try not to think about her when considering lore. We just know soooo little about her)

Sister location is set in the same year as fnaf 1 it is unclear if its after or before fnaf 1 so the game order(sister location is my opinion but the rest is canon and not counting fnaf world ar and help wanted) fnaf 4 FNAF 2 fnaf 1 fnaf sister location fnaf 3 pizzeria simulator/fnaf6 security breach help wanted 2 and then ruin
Sister Location most definitely takes place between FNAF 1 and FNAF 3 as in Dittophobia, the Funtimes are still in the facility 10 years after William gets springlocked, which is after FNAF 1.
Also, in the Logbook, Michael writes that he relates to Clara the most.
ALSO also, the cut Staff Bot lines are meant for a different set of Staff Bots in the kitchen.

Rory in ditto phobia is not shown in the experiment rooms meaning that he died or was released somehow.
