My only real problem of Toy Chica doing the bite is that it wouldn't really consider a bite, more like a peck or a stab and the victim will have a hole in their frontly lobe, not the removal of the entirety of the frontly lobe. Also the presence of Chica's Party World is a another example unless that was before the 87 location but since Funtime Chica isn't in Sister Location my best guess that Chica's Party World is way to explaine why she is not in Sister location and why give her own restaurant if she did somthing so infamous such as the Bite of 87.
Currently I'm still learning towards Mangle due to that they are given a fair enough of focus in Fnaf 2 such as a backstory and the unique attack it does towards the player.

In FNaF 1 phone call, it DID say that they stopped allowing the animatronics to move around after the bite of ‘87. Mangle wouldn’t have been able to move if she was being ripped apart by the children, so it could’ve been toy Chica.

If we take the same principal like Bite of 83, then the bite of 87 will likely cause by the same type of animatronics' design: jaw detached from the head type.
Toy Animatronics (Except Mangle) doesn't even have detach jaws, their jaws are locked in place in the head shell's socket so their jaw movement are very limited.
Withereds and Mangle have detach jaws just like Fredbear's and their jaws can open wide enough to fit someone's head in it.
It is an interesting mystery, and yes, we never truly knew who caused The Bite. Your idea that Toy Chica Caused it, by biting into the guards head, which would explain why her beak would be lodged into the forehead like T. Chica said in UCN.
Given the FNAF 2 movie is gonna start filming soon, I do imagine we will finally get clarification. It’d be stupid for BlumHouse and Scott to not include The Bite of 87, or at least give us an idea to who truly did it.
Also, there is a massive mystery that no one ever mentions in FNAF 3. When your in Chica’s Mini game, when you get to the area where your supposed to jump up the balloon platforms, if you try and land on the floor, you flip through it, revealing 5 shadow cupcakes. 4 that are at the right, with a fifth one following you everywhere you go.

Your point of Chica being themed to be at parties makes a lot of sense, so she had easy access to the victim. It's just harder to justify how Mangle could've been in place to cause the Bite, unless the victim approached them lying on the floor. I feel like the alarm would have been raised if Mangle decided to move up onto the ceiling in front of all the guests.
But it was the security guard that we played as through most of the nights of fnaf 2 that was attacked. Not some random guest at the restaurant

@@Grimm196 I don' t believe it's ever been proven that the night guard in FNAF 2 is the victim. Besides, there's still the problem of how Mangle managed to attack the security guard during the day (since the guard moves to dayshift). If security stays at the desk, that means Mangle got up in front of all the guests and took off down the hall without warning or reason. And if Mangle was fine being ripped apart by kids, why would they suddenly change their tune and attack someone nearby?
I get that it's a common theory there are holes. I'm not 100% convinced that's what happened.

Mind blowing thought: Mangle bit William Afton. Afton demonstrates a great lack of impulse control throughout the books and games, which is consistent with the type of injury involved in the bite of '87. William Afton also likes to impersonate security guards, (the adult bitten is said to have been a security guard) and tamper with the animatronics something demonstrated in both fnaf 1 & 2 during the custom night, the resulting p45 style pink slip received by the player giving this evidence, the player is blamed for someone else tampering with the characters while they were on duty. The bite of 87 occured on a day shift and low and behold an unknown figure gets the new day shift position ahead of the player in fnaf 2 which causes the custom night. Mangle sees and records everything it sees as evidenced in the fnaf 2 mini games where it can sometimes be seen roaming around searching for something and the fact that unscrambling it's radio static reveals a police report of the bite incident. The angry fragment of Susie in it combined with the tampering with it's facial recognition puts Afton directly in the firing line here, as he gives Susie the perfect moment to attack him in his new 'job'. Her new body's facial recognition maybe tampered with but that doesn't stop the soul from remembering a face. Also between the books and games William Afton is stated to have suffered and survived a life changing injury from an animatronic long before being springlocked in fnaf 3, something which is ever present but NEVER directly elaborated on in any fnaf media, it's a canon event with no definitive out come or implications which is strange given how crucial it is to the man's backstory and his arguments and eventual falling out with Henry Emily, leading to the monster Henry considered him to have become and to have unwittingly created.

I do think it was Mangle, like look at them teeth! Yaya L- I mean just Toy Chica has the beak, and her voiceline in UCN, but also Mangle's voiceline in UCN give us a clue, as YESe tells us about mainly being, mangled, plus YESer jumpscare, but ya Lo- I MEAN TOY CHICA could've done it.
I'm Team Mangle Did It. Mangle may not have the most motive since they're likely possessed by Susie's dog instead of a human like Cassidy BUT they're the most unstable and they've gone through the most post Afton pain due to the kids and employees taking them apart and putting them back together. They'd do anything to make it stop and if they're Susie's dog, they may still have their loyalty to her and knowing that a security guard killed her would make them want to protect her in spirit like they couldn't in life. Plus, Mangle's jumpscare is perfect to get at the frontal lobe because they're coming from the top and swooping in. I know Toy Chica has the Beak line and that's valid but I'm still gonna go with Mangle.

(Number 2) I think susie's dog posses chica's cupcake because..the movie..but also he isnt violent in the games he is chill and if it was a puppy it would make sense wouldnt it and the dog probably followed susie or withered chica for a while because in the ghost world the ghost would see another ghost not an animatronic but susie didnt see her dog since the ghost never found their body or anything (idk why I think this but I just do.) and in fnaf 1 susie's dog posses mr cupcake and susie found out and she puts him down gently because she is afraid that the night guard could hurt him (Like william A did to the non withereds to make them the withereds) and in help wanted 1 the cupcake moves and susie gets scared that she lost her dog again so thats why theres a timer.

A different youtuber mentioned that Phone Guy made a remark about how someone could survive without their frontal lobe.This obviously means the section of the victim's brain was removed, but it's more likely that it was removed in a hospital or similar place by medical experts. We were never told that the victim's head was torn apart. Add this with T. Chica's voice line, she's more likely to be the culprit, especially since the beak's removable.
Actually, think about it, Toy Bonnie does actually have a reason to have done the bite, since Shadow Bonnie exists, and it doesn't look like Springbonnie or Withered Bonnie but instead looks like Toy Bonnie, And if we already know that Agony is made by being killed by the animatronic, then where is Shadow Toy Chica or Shadow Mangle in the game files, there isn't any, but instead theres a Shadow Bonnie, so I think that it was Toy Bonnie that did the bite of 87, and maybe he doesn't have voicelines in UCN is because they had to remove it (voicebox) alongside a few of the teeth when dismantling him, making him unable to speak

Well is mangle because mangle jaw twitching and will shut fast doing more damage and it all happened in the office and mangle attack from ceiling and her jaw twitching causing is shut fast in the frontal lobe
I'm stuck between mango and toy Bonnie, mango from what was pointed out and toy bon with shadow Freddy and shadow Bonnie. It always seems to lead back to the iterations of the 2 :V. As for chica, even if she took off her beak, her shell is like an inch or 2 thick. You'd have to actively stick a hand in there to get to the Endo teeth.
If anyone is ever wondering it was actually toy Bonnie because if you notice he bit Jeremy Fitzgerald, who was the character in Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 and then you notice how the character was replaced on the seventh night custom night with the phone guy because the name is different from the paycheck And we were given the exact date of it because if you pay attention throughout the whole game of Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, it’s never talked about in any of the nights which meaning it hasn’t happened yet, but we are given the exact date of when it does happen it was the last eventof the pizzeria before it closed
So mangle is the fan favorite character in the fnaf franchise like how shadow is the fan favorite in the Sonic franchise

Proof that it was Toy chica:
1: Toy Chica bib says “Let’s party“ meaning she was a animatronic used for parties
2: She could have used her beck or taken it off and caused the bite
3: There was a birthday party so the party would be in one of the party rooms so it could not be mangle cause she is in kids cove
4: In fnaf 1 phone guy says the animatronics don’t walk in day after the bite event but in fnaf 2 mangle couldn’t walk due to being ripped apart
Edit: I remembered the victim was probably the security guard who was told to stay close to the animatronics so maybe it could have been Mangle.

Mangle did it, even in her jumpscare you can clearly see him bitting the upper part of the head, which is probably a attack that she remembered and used it again, also another theory I have to back up the other theory, when mangle caused the bite of 87 the employees didn’t want it to happen again so when they fixed the withereds they got rid of the top teeth of Freddy, also I think that they didn’t get rid of the teeth of foxy is because foxy was programmed to be cool and chill

I did think that it probably was toy chica but now im not so sure and as for the victim, at first i thought it was william afton because that line is in UCN and thats supposed to be william aftons personal hell so he must be the victim but the only issue with that is the fact that scraptraps forehead is bear and we cant see any scar or sign of injury there so maybe it wasnt chica.

So here’s what happened
The victim was crying, which is the crying child as you know the victim is and as he was crying, the spring locked suit spring locked and Fred Bear bit the child’s head
I’m with mangle. I can definitely see toy chica as a suspect. However, there soemthing that bothers me. I was kinda paying half attention so you likely mentioned this. But with Toy chica… yeh true she takes her beak off but her teeth are not like exposed enough to deliver an effective enough bite. Her jaws would likely get in the way between the forehead and the endoskeleton teeth. Mangle jaws open with the teeth this giving her way easier access to your forehead. Chica’s could still do some damage to your forehead but only taking away a little bit of the skull at worse. Plus even if she did puncture the skull somehow, only a bit of the lobe is gone not the entire lobe.
am I like, the only one who thinks Toy Bonnie did it? He has big buckteeth that could potentially be painful for a bite, he’s basically the face of FNaF 2 due to being plastered EVERYWHERE in the game, and also Shadow Bonnie is his own entirely whole other situation

I think it's Toy Chica. Mangle is debunked right away with Phone Guy's phone call implying that it was an animatronic who walks during the day. That only leaves Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, and Toy Chica. Out of those 3, Toy Chica is the one with the most proof.

Wait why did he say the withered animatronics were from fnaf 1 in 1993? Fnaf 2 took place in 1987. The withered animatronics were from somewhere before fnaf 2. So there was 3 different places. The original was where the withered ones were, the 2nd one was the toy animatronics, and the ones in fnaf 1.
The withered Animatronis from FNAF 1987 get Re-hauled for the 1993 location...

There is a secret FNAF 2 in the animatronic.
Okay, so the withered animatronics couldn’t do it because they are in the backroom, and Balloon Boy, JJ, and Puppet’s mouths aren’t large enough to bite, same with Toy Freddy and Toy Bonnie, either Toy Chica or Mangle did it.

Im not positive and their is not alot of evidence about it but there is a theory about toy Bonnie / Bonnie being a culprit. While there is little to no evidence there is always the possibility.
Toy Chica's endoskeleton, as shown in most of her appearances, is not suitable to chomp. But there is still the possibility.
Scott Cawthon has always had nightmares about bonnie while developing FnaF 1, remaking Bonnie as many times as Freddy, in the many forms that bunny...almost center-stage
With every active iteration (Bonnie, Toy Bonnie, Springtrap) Bonnie's design is radically changed, because he really is up there with Freddy as far as importance to the story. If you remember in the minigame from FnaF 3, Golden Freddy and Spring Bonnie were the first two in FredBear's Family Diner. Not just Freddy, but both.
We also never learn why bonnie lost his face and that could have been a result though its very unlikely.
If mangle did not do the BITE OF 87 then why is its jaw unhinged, almost like something happened to something or... someone? BUT THATS JUST A THEORY A GAME THEORY!!!!

I think it was Mangle. Even if she wasn't sentient and he wasn't aggressive to the kids, they were still built by Afton (possibly), so one of the kids must've pulled the wrong wire putting her in kill mode and he either went after one of the kids or one of the adults that just happened to be in the room. Also I'm reffering to Mangle with three different pronouns cause their canon gender is yes.

It's been confirmed that Withered Foxy did it.
Also, he has an 87 on him in FNaF 4.
Phone Guy says that the animatronics who act up around the guards during the day were twitchy and stare, and Phone Guy says the same about Foxy in FNaF 1, and Foxy is no longer his favourite.
I just started watching the video and I couldn't help but say that isn't fredbear was caused the bite of 83 and foxy caused the bite of 87 that is why in the first fnaf game foxy was out of oder😮
