An outstanding presentation, love the way Petr explained OM 1 system ... a real blessing for OM community ❤
Great wildllife photographer, OM needs more presentations like this.
An outstanding presentation with beautiful photographs and excellent tips for using the new OM-1 ii for wildlife photography. Thank you for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Excellent program! Practical, useful information. Very will thought out.
Great to hear!
Awesome talk guys, very enjoyable.
Petr work is just AMAZING
Hope you feel better soon, Petr !
Excellent presentation.
Thanks for watching
I think the English ones should be longer. thank you guys.
We will add some more.
Thank you for presenting this. Given that many Olympus lenses have in-lens image stabilization, but the new OM-1 had such great in-body stabilization, what is better turning on or turning off IF in the lense?
One question I wanted to ask. Can I downlad my button and C1-C4 settings/configurations from OM-1 MkI into OM workspace, then download that setup into the MkII so I don't have to go through and setup all my preferred configurations.
Hi Alan. It is not possible to transfer camera settings between various model types, therefore not possible to transfer it from OM-1 Mark I to OM-1 Mark II.
I would like my OM-1/EM1-M3 exif data to record the drive modes and AF setting as additional data. Request OMSYSTEM to think on this possibility.
40-150 with mc20 it will also enlarge the blurry background. That is not always a good thing.
So sad it has such a tiny buffer. I am used to the much larger buffer of the EM1X but of course the tech is much different.
Love the new tech but the 1X is still my fav. Hopefully an upgrade one day…
Based on the information I have, the E-M1X has a buffer of 287 RAW at a speed of 10 fps. From my measurements, it appears that the OM-1 II at this speed is capable of shooting continuously for more than a minute in row, capturing 650+ photos at once. I think this is actually one of the great strengths of the new camera. 👍

Is that 650+ RAW? It’s all about the details…
Nevertheless, the size and battery compartment is another issue. How long does it last in your experience?
I have large hands and I hate tiny buttons.
@@geoshock1 These are all RAW, of course. It is up to you, if you will find new camera useful. It is smaller than E-M1X but optional battery grip is also available. I recommend, go to the store and try by your self. The best way to your own opinion.

I got the OM1 mk2 today. Its extremely annoying that Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop don't recognise the ORF Raw files, Why don't reviewers ever mention this?
I believe we had that problem with OM-1 when it was released. My macbook didn’t recognize the raw files and neither did my ipad. It is frustrating. But over time updates from apple / Adobe solved this. But until that happens it is frustrating.
The new update was released today with RAW support for OM1 II
@@ivarvicenzoni5776 Yes I know. I updated LR yesterday to v13.2 and it now works OK
When do you think the update to the PDF will be available and how much will it cost?
Petr said, that it should be available sometime around mid of March. This update will be free for those who already bought the previous version of the PDF.
@@tomasviktora9288 So far, I haven't found any information that Petr will give the free update pdf to whom already bought the previous version.
How is the bird af in video compared to the OM-1?
There is a new setting in the camera, which sets the C-AF behaviour when shooting with subject detection enabled. You can set it separately for photo mode as well as for video mode. In video mode it sets the area within which the C-AF tracking is performed when a specific subject is detected and focused on. So it also works for birds, you are asking about.
Nikon has “Auto Capture” that can be set to record the buffer when criteria that you have set are met, like the animal moves a certain amount. Also iPhones will automatically identify birds, plants, and animals when you take a photo. I would be cool if OM could do those things!
That would require the camera to have internal storage for the database and extra power to compute.
I think just pointing your phone to the back of the screen will do for ID

Ridiculous you have to sign up and in to view your photos!
