I did the same but luck out and have skinny hands and was able to reach it...You should have no problem shifting.It won't effect anything..Maybe put some tape over the hole to keep it clean..

Excellent video. I was able to do it myself. Biggest problem I had was trying to get the clips out for the cover. Finally was able to just put some force on the cover itself and push it away from the clips, since one side of the cover hole is open. And then put it back on the same way, with a little force. I think my clips are slightly different than the ones on your cover. Changing the light itself was very easy from your detailed explanation. Thank you.

Sylvania H-11 is the one I use.....Go to time 5:47 on the video..it shows the package and other choices at the Auto store....Hope this helps..

Yes you did make it a little bit easier to change. I paid about $45 for a set of Philips lights. Wow now I can actually see, so I guess it is a good thing.

WoW! Very nice video! Thank you. It was very difficult to get the cap off. I eventually just pried it straight off. To put cap back it helped to use WD 40 so it it didn't stick

I tried for an hour or longer to get the cap off. I finally read your comment and took your advice. I pried the cap off, changed the bulb and sprayed it with WD-40. The cap works good now. We'll see the next time it needs replaced!

thank you for showing my wife and I how easily this light bulb is changed. Now she will hover around my head like a raven protecting her nest until I complete the job. Also because you changed the passenger side bulb, in her mind it negates any accuracy pertaining to changing the driver's side bulb. I will continue to perform the work and maybe...just maybe she will discontinue to feel the need to take the car to the dealership for the light bulb replacement. OMG ... I am a manufacturing engineer working in the aerospace field for 35 years.
