King kong In ending: Hold My Axe
When you realize how badass She was, that not only could she match Godzilla in strength and power, but she actually froze Ghidorah in Ice.(How else did that happen to him if he could survive the cold vacuum of space?) She also has been in pain for how many thousands of years and was still smart enough to know that once she was free, who her true allies are. My favorite new titan and Im buying her toys.
So she was kicking ass for a while now. Neat to know.
Its obvious that she froze ghidorah, but do you think that godzilla helped in that regard?

@@UuLoo-if9gb Have to agree there. Maybe it was her seeing him as a bigger threat then Gman himself that made her freeze Ghidorah up
I dont think Godzilla was capable of helping during that era of Ghidorah being frozen. I think Shimo used to be the 'Queen of the Monsters' sort of vibe to the rest, keeping the peace. But then the Kongs managed to imprison her at some point, eventually leading to Skar King trying to weaponize her against the surface. Godzilla clearly understood Shimo existed, as he knew he needed a lot more radiation energy in order to even attempt going toe to toe with her, but theres also the question of how depowered Shimo may be in the movie given how long she has been imprisoned and tortured. This is probably the weakest she has ever been.
Godzilla has Mothra, Kong now has Shimo.

So, Kong has an Enforcer now. With Shimo with his side, no one in hollow earth will challenge him. And Unlike Skr king, Shimo chose kong willingly.
King Kong and Shimo can be like Raoh and Kokuoh from Fist Of The North Star but King Kong will not be anti-villain like Raoh did
Unless plot for the next movie decides to create a huge threat like maybe another original monsterverse villain or one of toho iconic big bads like space godzilla or destroyah
@@kanielabarcai6182 Destoroyah can only really be defeated by hitting him with incredible changes in temperature, from raging inferno to frozen cold and back again.
Shimo’s ice powers are the perfect compliment to Godzilla’s burning form to do just that. The setup, together with the Oxygen Destroyer used on KotM, is just perfect.
@@HiveFleetOni tbh it's really up to the power of writing/plot and plus this is the monsterverse so they could potentially buff up destroyah even more by giving him new abilities I mean just look at what they did with ghidorah so it's really up to the producer/director
@@kanielabarcai6182 I didn’t think they’d do Space Godzilla, but now I’m thinking there’s a chance. They mentioned Tiamat’s lair absorbing cosmic energy, which was what originally formed Space Godzilla when Godzilla’s dna was ejected from the atmosphere. It wouldn’t completely surprise me if they went that route, I think Destoroyah is more likely though.
Does anyone else love the writing trope of mind controlled characters breaking free and sticking it to their villains?
I do in fact I love it when the person or creature who didn’t want to cause any harm get revenge on the person causing them harm so they can do harm to others Skar King had it coming

I will admit that Shimo is a very powerful titan. I'm glad that she was freed from the Skar King's control, played her part in the Skar King's defeat, and is an ally to Kong.
She is Mother of all Titans in Monster-verse. She is my second favorite titan.

Reminder, Shimo can stand on two legs to fight, much similar to a bear. And when she's does, she's 2x the size of Godzilla from head to tail
Probably why she didn't here was because she didn't desire to unlike her last fight with godzilla (in the novel it's confirmed she challenged godzilla by using the ice age but she lost either by fighting inexperience or another way) in their last fight it's noted godzilla looked afraid of shimo

There are people who theorize that Dagon(A.k.a Raijin) and Shimo are actually the parents of Godzilla. Could explain why he feared her and why she lost. He never saw the true extent of her power, and she didn't wish to kill him.
But personally i don't buy that theory

Even though I wish that Shimo had more screen-time, I still think she’s a worthy edition to the MonsterVerse and Godzilla Franchise.
I feel bad for Shimo, she was under the control of Skar King for so long and had no choice. But after he had died she became free and now lives with King Kong.
Until now I did not have a favorite Titan within the Monsterverse, but now with the arrival of Shimu to the saga and everything that has been shown about her both in the novelization and in the film about this powerful Primordial Titan and all the potential that she has so much for the lore and for the future of the Monsterverse, she immediately became my favorite Titan for everything she is and represents for the saga. ✨
Also, its design seems BRUTAL to me since it looks like a dragon, and I love dragons, especially if they are made of ice or their elemental power is Cryokinesis. ❄

I love the shark-like design they gave her face! Her being an ancient titan with that look is such a nice detail because sharks have supposedly existed long before even the trees on Earth have.
And the fact the sharks are basically ocean puppies and Shimo kinda acts like that too. 🥺

I think this is the weakest she has ever been i mean she was tortured and didn't want to kill anyone but an red orangutan forced her to do it so she probably was not using her full power

@@fabiotieri3155 Godzilla's age is roughly 3-5 million years old. Shimo's age is over 300 million according to a typo correction made to the novel, they mistyped 3 million instead of 300 million. She's the grandma of the titans.

Gotta love Shimo, she's insanely strong but also has such a tragic backstory. The fact that she was tortured by skar king for so long made her lose a lot of her personality is genuinely sad. I hope to see her regain that lost personality in future films!
In the End when Kong was riding on Shimo and cuddles her too , it was just wholesome that shows his character. And Also our Favorite Godzilla was sleeping like a Baby at the end in his favorite place. This movie was so good and wholesome. Must Watch if you are fan of MonsterVerse.

One thing I’ve realised about shimo is that she can just absolutely rag doll either kong or Godzilla. Now I don’t mean that she’s stronger, although she’s at the very least in the top 2 in the verse atm possibly all time. I mean that her physical strength is insane, she was throwing kong and zilla around like they were children, her being so much larger obviously has something to do with that but if she’s in control of herself she’d be a serious serious problem.

According to the novel, the Iwi history Ilene translates described Shimo as a "World Ender." It also gives her a title, but she isn't able to directly translate the first word, offering three possibilities: the "First Titan", the "Ultimate Titan", or the "Quintessential Titan".
the gxk novelization states she’s 3 million + years old. Absolutely no where in the lore says she’s the first Titan. All they said in the movie is that she was an ancient Titan. So first Titan is just a wild fan theory gone rouge and people thinking it’s true.

While watching GXK my explosive diarrhea started acting up 😭 I was super scared but I held it in until Godzilla evolved and broke out of the ice and when he roared I just let it all out. I honestly think the other guys in the theatre enjoyed it cuz I added some 4D experience to the scene, extra sound effects and all. Smelled like death, tho 😂
