It cost $120
goat
Cheaper than North
Nice
Btw it's not about graphics cards, it's just cooling, and wires
It cost $69
TIL people don't know Lian Li cases aren't $50
I was an expecting and out of touch influencer to say "reasonably priced at $350 plus a kidney" but honestly $120 is an insanely good deal for their build quality.
Especially considering that you dont have to buy any fans for it.
@@jakobmax3299 What I always love about Lian Li and Silverstone. Getting a viable cooling solution out of the box even with their cheaper options is so user friendly.
@@jakobmax3299and it being a 140 rear fan vs the crap 120 most cases seem to have

Press X for Doubt.
Wondered if anyone else was reading the video credits. 😅
Dennis is busy this trip, he is the host, camera operator and editor.
wait lol wtf
@@conorstewart2214probably translator as well as he’s Taiwanese
I saw that and wondered if anyone else noticed lmao
It's the "PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH" signs for me
they're probably for average joes not sponsored media :D
@@bigherb yes, good of you to point that out for the people that might not get why he's just enthusiastically touching the cases and all. ☺️
I mean that's a cool case but I'd need an office that matches, smelling like leather and fine bourbon, pretty fancy!
Accept nothing but an office that makes you look like a high class mafia boss
@@tiagobelo4965 I would be fine with that
“I have many leather-bound books. My apartment smells of rich mahogany. I’m kind of a big deal.” -Ron Burgundy
I think Lian Li is my new favorite in the PC space. The innovation with the daisy chained interlocking fans was pretty cool in and of itself. But now wireless control and LCD fans working with normal RGB fans is approaching build perfection. Now only if they could get into custom water blocks or motherboards
i've had the 215 since january 2021. Love it so much. The large fans on mine are addressable rgb, I had both of them fail after one year warranty was out, both separate times. Both times Lian Li sent me replacements for free and arrived in less than two weeks.
Best customer service I have ever had.
Sometimes you get service so good it was genuinely worth the thing failing just to experience it
@@DanKaschel my next case, although probably in a few more years will be another lian li for sure. also if my arctic liquid cooler dies I might feel bad not ordering a lian li aio even though I super love my arctic lol
Gotta second their customer service. I had an AIO pump die just after warranty, and they replaced the whole thing with no questions asked and was in my hands in less than 10 days to australia. Great service.
@@TroublesomeOwl that's unreal ! :)
Do you mean 216?
Walnut? I’ll accept nothing less than mahogany.
Rich. Mahogany
Only if it’s hand carved.
I want Coastal Redwood or Snakewood. They look amazing.
Walnut>mahogany
I'm sorry, is this some kind of nobleman joke that I'm too poor to understand?
I like that 207 case with the fans right below the gpu.
Just bought a Fractal North case myself, but I'm glad there are non-RGB pieces becoming more popular, or at least being introduced to the market.
I just hope more cases come with options of not having tempered glass.
My systems a couple years old and ended up going bequite just so I could avoid RGB completely. It’s mad how much work you need to go to just to avoid it all.
@@U1TR4F0RCEExactly what I want, I really don't need to see my components at all times and having no window means that you can go for the best performance for the price without needing to care about aesthetics
now we just need more components not following the rgb-trend. Most motherboards in the mid/higher end all have rgb, same for graphic cards or aio coolers.
I was looking to rebuild my system (but decided to wait it out some more, mine's still working fine...) and I really had to go nitpicking if I wanted non-rgb stuff.
Streamer cables are great and all, but what about juicer cables?
I thought i'ld never find a case that'ld convince me to replace my Corsair Obsidian 450D, but the Lancool 217 just did the trick, what a beautiful case.
I love my Lian Li Lancool II Mesh and seeing this other Lian Li case with all the bells & whistles and a really good price is making me wanna build another pc that I dont need. What a neat enclosure
I actually rigged two 120mm fans from my old case to the bottom of my liancool old generation for the same idea. Obviously it's not as effective as some of it is blocked by the PSU, but it still brings fresh air from that vent in the bottom directly into the GPU. love it
I liked that end bit about the power supplies unique i wonder if it functional would love to see some builds with it.
The 207 is great love the ideas, implementation, and layout of the fans provided for that price. I'd love to see a similar idea with the same layout for an almost ITX case. Like a 207 micro that looks like an ITX case, but fits MATX.
i love Lian Li so much. really hope they sell the 170mm fan on it's own and/or make an matx version of that case
Lancool 207, love the PSU orientation!
this video was really quite good!
It looks VERY COOL!
I've loved Lian Li since I built a client's graphic design workstation in their brushed aluminium case back in 2002... never owned one, but love their stuff. I think I may upgrade my case fans with the new wireless ones, that's just genius.
I saw another company had made an AIO with tubes that connected in the middle of the radiator, I can’t remember who it was though. This solution seems better though since you can choose between having them in the middle or just out the end like normal AIOs, as long as there is enough space for that extra bulk along the side of the radiator.
Looks nice. I do wish for a retro case like Lian Li’s old aluminum cases though. I still have one but I’d like modern features like cable routing and better airflow.
i love my lian li case, highly recommend. super easy to build and cable manage with all the space
I think I've seen Dan A3 mATX case in the back, wish you took a closer look at it. It's the case I'm really excited about.
That’s great value. Lian li cases are awesome to build in.
Nice case!
I love this time of year :))))
I cant eait for the power supplies and the O11 Vision Compact. That is 1000% the perfect case ive been looking for to uograde from my OG O11 Dynamic
The only problem with filters behind the fans is all the dust that coats the fan - better no filters at all though and just blow it out every once in awhile with air
The Lancool 207 is freaking amazing, holy shit!
Classy 1994 Plymouth minivan look
If I could get one of those with something other than the walnut, like brushed aluminium for instance, that would look great
I wish there were more mATX cases
Damn Lian Li are doing some exciting stuff.
with the 011 vision compact and the aio pump going thru the back... can you do that with the currently 011 vision on the market?
They really went with the safe card with the design. Wished they did more "modern" look like Fractal did
We need more room at the top of cases since MOBO manufactures constantly put connectors at the top lip of a mobo, which get obscured by radiators and fans.
That first case looks amazing and I really want it as I love a wood esthetic. But I wish there was a version with a little more top room above the fans so you can hook in a 4K bluray disk drive 😅 not enough cases care to add space for it today. Like if I could get that, I’d definitely buy it and transfer my rig from the lan cool 2 to that. Then I’d be able to start ripping my movies to make a digital at home library and also finally be able to add my whole CD collection to Apple Music 😂
The different orientation of the cables for the power supply confuses me.
how much would it cost to get the exact WLRS with all components included system as shown in video?
Okay 120 is awesome. anything on the new desk there?
the first case needs an matx/itx size.
Why TF do case manufactures put usb ports in the dumbest places.
6:02 the Deepcool CH560 is getting some competition
Lian Li are releasing really cool and amazing things. 🥰👍
It would be nice to see the 207 be btf compatible
Is 170mm some new kind of standard or its something proprietary?
"Please do not touch", alex is just putting his finger into everything lol
It gives me 70s hi-fi stereo system vibes
I like the fan feature of the LC 217 but the case I really like is the LC 207 and the price is very attractive. I wonder if it fits the big GPUs of today?
LGR would love that walnut case
Really like to see something cool with two 5.25 drive bays
let's go Lian Li. beautiful.
15 ,12 or similar size case fan in china are about 2$ each.
aren't those fan blades mono-directional?
This wood grain fetish won't reach it's final form until every case looks like a 1970's 8-Track and Turntable Magnavox stereo receiver that your grandparents used to have. And that still smells like mothballs.
can i go with Lanncool 217 and with Lian Li fans i have 7x off the lian li infinity fans in the Walnut case? wood love it
I prefer imported italian maple in my desks but I suppose walnut is adequate
What would that case cost without the walnut? 1:55
Lian Li is seriously the best case maker out there. I've always been a Fractal fan, but Lian Lis innovation is just awe inspiring.
Cool stuff
That Lancool 217 looks really cool, especially for the price. I hope Gamers Nexus reviews it. That might be my next case if it's good...
Cool !
why nobody is making fan spot on the back of vrm these days? I have one 80mm spot on my old thermaltake case from 2010 and that small 80x10 12v fan running from 5v is completely silent and drops at least 15 degrees from vrm
A case so fancy you will need to buy the LTT Top Hat
I love wood when it's nicely applied for a case, this doesn't seem to be such a case...
best video for the moment at Computex 2024
So, we are in the 1970's now? every thing with wood :) Need some woodies wagon!
Those PSUs look cool.
Ok, but why is it better to have the filters in the back of the fan?
There is a 0% chance that the wireless rgb transmitter thing will work basically ever. rgb already doesn’t work properly like 80% of the time.
Curious what protocol/frequency it uses. The right wireless protocol can be more reliable than wires in this kind of situation, but if it's a bunch of Bluetooth devices it'll be awful.
If you can't get rgb to work 80% of the time is sounds more a problem with you...
We're back to the 90s boys
Why would you put the filter behind the fan bearing? Sounds like advice someone selling fans would give..
The Lancool 207 case is very nice. I would 3D print a fan shroud for even better cooling of the GPU.
Windowless version of this would be perfect
Those power supplies don’t seem like that great of an idea. The bit sticking out means it may be more difficult to use in some cases and that it may only work in one direction so you might not be able to orient your power supply optimally for the fan configuration. I just don’t really see the point, you aren’t moving the connectors all that much you are just flipping them 90 degrees, it won’t be any easier to route cables since they basically start in the same place and you have to fit the bit that sticks out anyway. It won’t be any easier to plug in cables after the power supply is in the case either since again the plug as basically in the same area just flipped 90 degrees, it might even be harder because you have less space than with a normal power supply.
Something like the Corsair shift is more useful since it actually changes where the cable come out and does make it easier to plug in more cables with the power supply installed. However it does still have the issues of only being able to be inserted in one orientation in some cases and it does need more width to account for the cables coming out.
So what is the point of this? Does it work well with a few Lian Li cases?
What is "back to front support"?
New design of motherboard where the cabling connects to the back of the board... no visible cabling when you look through your cases' glass panels.
i think he means that the case allows the motherboard to have the connections on the backside
I made my GPU support out of a metal clothers hanger and a strong magnet ... works great
Does anyone know how nuch the AIO is?
Putting the fan filter on the back of the fan is like putting your air filter in your exhaust.....
The fan gets coated in crap constantly and spinning it backwards doesn't remove the build up from the back of the blades because the air isn't being pushed backwards by the same surface. You'd think a company like lian li would have 1 person with some common sense in it.
Any computex video with Alex gets an instant like from me
Does it come in white
I remember way back when when Lian Li were ALWAYS super expensive... now they're reasonable as heck...
Whilst the pricing is good, the obscure 170mm fan sizing kinda throws me off. Its such a unique fan size that if the fans stop working or I don't like the noise profile or whatever the case may be, the only mainstream option will be Lian Li and because its a first party fan with a unique sizing they'll most likely price it quite high
Why aren't there any open air cases, is that a bad idea?
Do you know how to not have dust on your fans? you put the filter in front of it
119 is actually crazy cheap for that case. God damn
Dust Filters behind the Fans are somewhat a nightmare to service. I dont wanna open up my case every time i wanna clean my Dustfilters.
Well that 12V to 5V regulator is probably 25¢ so it’s not like it’s that hard to integrate for the RGB
Whenever I want to buy a Lian Li product they are always out of stock and I end up getting a knock off alternative. The stuff looks decent but I can never be bothered to wait for re-stocks.
is that an Lian Li Evo XL chassie or new one? cant tell atm, and the fans new also? @ 3min into video. Almost about to buy evo xl but after seing this i might actually wait
idk about the case but the fans are the sl120 v3's confirmed
@@Frozoken cool fans exept blades doesnt light up and wth is goiing on with the hub (middle) geez so ugly, atleast put a sticker on it lol :/ keeping my old ones i think
I like cheapest one with psu in front
I want more cool SFF cases
5:38 Even in a case video I CAN'T ESCAPE THE AI
Dust filters on the back of the fans just makes cleaning them more annoying surely? Having to open the case to get to them.
I'd rather just run no filters, though my environment isn't as dusty as others can be. Literally only have to clean a system once every year and I'm sure I could get away with going another 6 months before it starts to become noticeable. Filters can harm thermals depending on the pressure and vacuum in the case.
Opening a hinged side panel is easier than popping off a front panel
If you vacuum once in a while you won't need to clean your PC weekly. Cleaning the dust filters is something you do like once every 3 months, so it's not a big deal if it takes an extra minute to do.
make the aio wireless and ill pay big bucks. HATE the spaghetti coming out of the AIO LCD.
Side I/O - sod that. I'd keep accidentally kicking things plugged into then and damaging the ports.
I dont think i like the wireless fan controler. Yes its less messy visualy but there arnt infinite airwaves and id rather use those for stuff that actualy needs it and save on the interference.
Nice. 👌🏻
