    Very nice work Max, I don't get as much Tig as I'd like, especially Alluminium, but I was doing Alluminium on Friday and Tig on Bizaloy plates today. Some time next week I'll be Tigging Stellite, so it's always changing, after two months of Mig on steel.

    Quick question buddy, what brand and grit sandpaper do you recommend for the HF bench sander (intercooler piping/stainless steel piping)? Also any tips of how to grind pipe edges as close to flat as possible?

      Looks more like a temporary heatsink to prevent warping. They will be cut loose.

    • @scottcarr3264
      @scottcarr3264 Před 3 lety

      The two Tacks to the thicker piece don't matter, because when it cools right down those base pieces will be removed and the tacks ground back flush and buffed to look like the rest. When you weld to one side of a plate it will warp, so you stich it to a thicker piece to reduce the warpage and remove it later, that base area may need to be machined flat if it has to attatch to something else.
