Buddhist Lent (Khao Phansa) and Candle Vigil (Wien Tien) Rural Thailand

I often help with digital media at our local temple in rural Thailand and was back this week from Bangkok for a festival celebrating the completion of the base of what will be a really large Buddha statue. The celebration coincided with Khao Phansa and the start of Buddhist Lent so I joined the monks as well for a full moon candle vigil (Wien Tien) at the site. After 6-hours on a bus there and 6-hours back I’m fairly knackered. Anyway, some videos and audio from the ceremony and celebrations.
