Behold! We said to the angels, "Bow down to Adam": They bowed down except Iblis. He was one of the Jinns, and he broke the Command of his Lord. Will ye then take him and his progeny as protectors rather than Me? And they are enemies to you! Evil would be the exchange for the wrong-doers!

In Buddhist there are lots of level of teaching and we generally end up making ourselves confuse about it and gradually forget perhaps. I have been studying Buddhism for more than 12 years and I found one very important points that all Buddhist should know. In fact my Teacher ,12th Zurmang Garwang always used to said that" never separate listening, contemplating and meditating" while we are learning especially Buddhism and that's really makes sense for me because I only came to know that the reasons people usually unaware of the real teaching after practising those said advices.
There are basically three levels of Buddhist teaching for three kind of different students. You can distinguish thoes three levels of teachings for that you need thoes said three words that my guru shared. Thank you.

Buddhism is a way of life to acheive self realization or combing it's soul to the supreme cosmic power to get rid of this viscious cycle of life and death which is called moksha in Hiduism and Nirvana in Buddhism

Nirvana is free from all kind of sufferings,it said. Suffering is everything,subject and object both from where all kind of action and reaction arise.

Actually the word Buddha itself is very board to really understand,it said.
I already said that there are three levels of teaching of it's student's capacity of realisation.
Way of life is also one level.
Actually, I don't find what exactly is religion or Buddhism because all I heard is not enough to define this thing.

Be weary of this sect. This is only a 3 minute piece and they have already misrepresented the dhamma. What that monk taught @2:25 is not what the Buddha taught. Bunnya (merit) leads to a good rebirth not nibanna. Kusala (wholesome, skillful actions) lead to nibanna. Even very new students to the dhamma know this. It makes me think that they are purposefully misrepresenting the buddhas teachings.

I am Indian buddhism
This is how most religions started thousands of years ago. The priests/monks needed donations to pay their salaries so they told the population that they will get a sure way to heaven if they give a donation. Giving "merit" seems like it benefits both the temples and the population because they both get what they (think) they want. you know you can't buy a ticket to heaven. Only Buddah or whatever God you believe in can look into your hearts to see who is worthy. On the other hand Buddhist teachings give focus, peace and mindfulness of which can only be taught in a temple. I think its teachings benefits boys of today to go to temple and pray it gives them an understanding of something larger than themselves and to be humble. There is corruption everywhere and no man is perfect. Don't let one scandal scare you away from Buddhism.
Bly Cat they that you have merit for giving money because this temple doesn’t keep majority of the money that collected.Most of the money goes to orphanages,schools,other temples in and out of Thailand and to the poor.Many people are mislead about the money scandal.They usually only keep enough for food and property taxes

may Buddhism once again prevail all over the world although we see many challenges from within and outside . only teaching of peace that taught in Buddhism can save the humanity because true definition of peace can be elaborated in Buddhism than any other traditions or religions. Some claim they fight but still their religion is peace which is logically ridiculous if it is analyzed by true intelligence. Any way, we all Buddhist from different countries must unite and propagate Buddha dharma teachings unexceptionally in a more authentic and relevant way so that all would like to embrace Buddhism naturally and profoundly. We must put more spirit now. challenges are many yet we can surely.
I'm glad all you buddhist are proud. But that's a seperate matter from this guy being a simple crook. All religions have con artists so it's beyond me how you think Buddhism would be exempt.
