Bret enjoyed using the Tiger for his adventure training classes in Mumbia and Pune! We're trying to find one locally here in the pacific northwest to review so Bret can actually ride it on-road! So far no luck getting one. We've even reached out to Triumph HQ but no reply yet :(
Triumph should let you ride one is my opinion. It would be another good and fair review I think. Hope they will reach out to you. Good luck!
Phhhhbt just come borrow my XCA for a weekend
i can borrow mine, if you come to Chile!!!
Regards!
Still waiting for the review
Can’t wait. Look forward to your thoughts on the suspension and weight setup for off-road.
Sorry for the re-upload.
Have you guys done anything with the tiger 900? Sounds right up your alley!
There's a lot of videos out there of riders in technical situations using techniques that seem questionable and cause me to wonder about a better way to handle the bike. I really enjoy your tips (and those of other professionals) and watching you control your bike so well. Thanks for showing us how its done. You make the bike look quite capable. Looking forward to your review.
Love it! We need more! Can’t wait!
Much credits for your riding skills (on this Tiger 800), love to see how you are 'tossing' it around the dirt almost like a light weight dirtbike! :-) That's gonna take me a couple of years (or more, ha, ha) to get this done with my XCx. Keep up the good work! :-)
Can’t wait!
I own a 2016...best bike I've ever had, and I've had many. The 2018 addresses all the small niggles of the previous 2 years, especially the engine whine. Simply a brilliant bike.
Mark Jacobs "niggles"? What?
Small issues.
C Gross I I'm not mistaken, it's a British saying. Basically it means "an minor, but annoying flaw".
Looking forward to this review
I want one. Can’t wait for my birthday. Thanks for the invaluable motorcycle videos
KLR Jim
Looking forward to the full review! It's coming down to a Honda ATAS or the 800XCx for me as a GS replacement. I do love me a triple though...
Wicked awesome.
The growl of that engine is one of my favorite
I want a GS, but I will say this is a beautiful bike.
Oh, and I'm always impressed by your riding skills.
C Gross thanks
Intensity intensifies!!!
Do you record the drum music yourself?
Any news on this review?
Hey Bret! You're videos are crazy well produced and shot. Not to mention that you are a natural teacher. But bgg I was wondering when we were gonna see the actual review of the Tiger 800. I've been waiting because I'm heavily looking a that bike for my next. Thanks and safe travels!
Hey Bret! What's your background in motorcycles? You have a bio page I can read?

road tires on the dirt?
Wow!!!!
Love the videos!! Finally a review from someone we feel like we can trust!! Just to ease our minds: what is the nature of your relationship with triumph that you should have a bike to review? Again, love the videos just want to make sure the review is genuine.
Triumph is loaning a Tiger to Top Gun India for the adventure training Bret is teaching in Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore this month.
Brett's great! I would also suggest Fort 9! I don't know why I trust them? Maybe because they're Canadian?
Good to hear MOTOTREK. Just making sure they weren't shmoozing for a good review. Bret, as much as I love your content the music you have on it from Matt Jorgenson (I hope I didn't butcher the name too bad) is awesome too!! Please pass on the kudos!
when you will be in Bangalore?
So is there a review coming?bob
👍👍👍
Bret, is there still gonna be a full review of this bike while is has been several months ago while you posted this one. I'm curious off your review, ha, ha! Thx!
Having trouble locating one locally to review, Björn. Got any friends at Triumph?
@@MOTOTREK , nope... friends yes but not at Triumph. :-)
Have to see how the coming BMW F850GS Adventure stacks up to the Tiger.
I hope the dealership installed the windscreen correctly. I own this exact bike, and the only problem I've had so far is the windscreen rattling. Apparently it was so new the dealer had no installation instructions on hand. It's fixed now. That being said, I love this bike.
I'm having this same windscreen trouble with my new XCA, if possible would you please explain the fix? Thank you!
Keith F Sure. The upper mount is usually the problem. First, the rubber rings need go on the back side of the shield. Second, Look closely at the two different screws for the upper mount. The ones with the shorter shoulders need to go on the spring (back) side. Hope this helps.
Where's the review?
Please where is the review?
Wow you're in Mumbai, is it?
Jinendra Jin yes
You're such a tease... :)
Love your videos but what was the point of this tease?
Thanks, Mark. I couldn't wait to show off these cool slomo shots, that's all. 😁
Are you never afraid you'll damage a bike when you do this sort of stuff?
Dave Here nope
Where’s the review?!
Are you in India?
Shreedhar Bhat yes
Dear santa
What is happening
STILL staying tuned for the review!?!?
showoff!!! :)
YOU LOST THE VIDEO DIDN'T YOU?
We know you like BMWs you've made that obvious lol. But nothing to say?
