I’ve got those RPM arms, they look brilliant on the truck but they’re not great. Just broke my right rear lower arm on 1 bad landing, only the 2nd run on those arms I’ll be changing them out for the original arms. I’ve also got the same dampers and they are really good.
What did you use to make the axle boots? Were you able to make something for the inner? I see very little out there in this area other than some random ebay listings lol. Your truck is beautiful!

How did you fit the HD shock shafts because when I got them, the red O ring would not fit inside my shock bodies. Also, I have the same shock bodies as your X-Maxx
Upgrade your pinion and spur gears to the fast lane mode 1.5 spur and pinion gears. Upgrade your slipper clutch cover to a aluminum cover, upgrade your steering servo to the traxxas 2085x all metal servo at 450 oz of torque on 6.v if you haven’t, and please get rid of the zip ties they look hideous!
what motor are you running and Esc? How do them huge aftermarket motors fit in the chassis where the stock ones fit and im guessing theres no motor pins underneath to line up with the pinion and spur gears? What about running a belt drive system Especially with a powerful aftermarket motor for them gears? Please if anyone can answer me soon cuz im gonna be buying another Xmaxx and wanna put performance upgrades, This question can be for anyone. Nice lookN Maxx. Thanks

The proline springs are crap. I bought two sets. I couldn’t see them up without the primary springs compressed all the way. I bought two hot racing sets they are good! Mine has a 56113 and I’m in the same boat as you. More weight and needed heavier springs. Proline failed there. I think you wasted a bunch of money where it wasn’t nescessary.
That's funny cos it looks exactly the same as the one you were selling on eBay for a while, thinking bout it i seem to remember u had road tyres on that set up, but it looked mint! didn't quite have the cash at the time so i too missed out. Got a dbxle now instead.

I think a lot of aftermarket parts are an impulse buy or the cool factor. The cost vrs benefit I think is negligible in a lot of cases if not most.
