He is, I remember from another comment section that the doctors didn’t think it was epilepsy, and they thought it was due to overworking himself, so he went on meds for a while, and cut down on how much he was streaming and now he’s doing fine
As a medical professional (EMT), I'd imagine Runescape guy had some sort of underlying condition that ended up being exacerbated by the lack of hydration and food intake.
08:25 As an EMT, can you confirm that this claim that sleep deprivation causes heart disease is total rubbish? Isn’t heart disease when you get plaque buildup in your blood vessels?? Sleep deprivation doesn’t cause that - poor diet does!
@@anti-ethniccleansing465 The feinting is usually a symptom of a different condition. A rapid change in blood pressure with a lack of food could easily cause chest pains and feinting.
He most likely didn't actually have a heart attack. He probably suffered what's known as a vasovagal episode. The low blood sugar from not eating could be exacerbated by the adrenaline rush. The sudden move to stand up after sitting for so long could very easily cause a drop in blood pressure, and with the other compounding factors, this could also explain the difficulty breathing, the sensation of pins and needles, the dizziness, and ultimately the blackout of consciousness. I've suffered several over the years, and they aren't fun at all.
@@mohamedatta1925 very interesting perspective, I have to say I didn’t think of that. If they did do that for that purpose then that’s one of the best things twitch has ever done.
As somebody who suffers with severe health anxiety I knew I shouldn't have watched this. I thought I had that and my panic attacks under control these days but this video definitely give me really high anxiety . I used to suffer with crippling panic attacks that mimic the symptoms of a stroke and a heart attack and I used to be at the hospital all the time. The symptoms were so real and overwhelming that even when they ran all the tests at the hospital and told me I was fine I didn't believe them I was so worked up into a frenzy of terror. As I was watching this I started experiencing what a lot of the people in the videos did, its an absolute nightmare

That second clip seems very familiar to me in that I had somewhat frequent circulatory collapses just like that one or two years back. I didn't realize it at the time but I was underweight and then when I was faced with a variety of scenarios like getting up out of a car into hot air on a mountain or standing around for a long time in a crowded place or visiting my father who was hospitalized with cancer, I suddenly drifted away, not being able to think clearly, my vision being consumed by black static closing in from my peripheral vision and falling over without much control. All of those scenarios are mainly a lack of oxygen through the environment or fast breathing but generally other factors create the suscpetibility to it like intense heat or sitting for a long time or eating too little
And yes, I am commenting this on a 6 year old video because why not haha if I found the video today then other people likely will too and maybe this is helpful for someone
Exactly what I was thinking. Looks really similar to orthostativ hypotension from low iron after not eating. Not enough oxygen getting around the body, esp the brain, causes the body to get oxygen up there in the quickest way possible- getting the head lower/down on the floor by fainting. and his high adrenaline just told his whole system that he needs oxygen to go to his muscles and brain QUICK as there might be a stressor around to run from
My first thought on the second one was ocular migraine. He didn't say anything about visual disturbances but some confusion can be the beginning of one then the confusion makes you super anxious and spikes blood pressure and heart rate.. I get the Ophthalmic ones which affect vision for like 25 mins then luckily no or very mild headache after. Being worked up can trigger them for sure but luckily they are pretty benign. It's when you get visual disturbances in one eye and not both where you need to get to an Ophthalmologist quickly to check out the Retina.
I have ocular migraines and they have only ever effected one of my eyes. I get headaches that are centered behind my right eye. The worst one felt like the back of my eye was being stabbed. My eye waters uncontrollably and becomes extremely painful to touch. I have been thoroughly checked by eye doctors and told nothing is wrong with my eyes.
9:10 most likely touched the heatsink on the circuit board inside the PSU, it may have been connected to 120V (or 240V depending on where he lives) somewhere on the board, or he touched 400VDC from the capacitors. I've touched charged caps at 400v across my chest by accident, and i can definitely say it really hurt. only happened for a split second.
I had this situation too where I wasn’t able to write the most simple words in my native language for half an hour. Right when my parents wanted to bring me to the hospital everything was fine again.
it wasn't a heart attack, it happends when you have low bkood suger, or you know when you stand up quickly after not having a drink or food for several hours. It happends to me, i once fell backwards and hit my back to a table and got hurt, so now i just sit down as quick as I can, because you basically become unconscious
Yes it was cause of low blood sugar happens to me all the time I’m very thin and I eat and drink enough but I will just sometimes randomly pass out or get light headed
And thats why you stay away from rune scape. It's a death game. Edit: I never thought this comment would get so many likes, really appreciate it. I'm leaving this account behind so I won't be replying anymore. Later!
Ryan L. Nah I mean they are different games but the games shown are typically streamed for very long periods of time so sitting there for that long (like 50 hour streams) can be very dangerous and increase the chances of things like strokes, heart attacks, or seizures to happen
Like the person above me said, it isn't the game, its the limits that these streamers push themselves to. One all nighter won't kill you, but a lot of these streamers stay up for like 2 or 3 days and it isn't good. I'm pulling an all nighter right now but I'm for sure sleeping either this afternoon or tonight.
Also if you’re sitting for really long periods of times like in these 50 hour streams it can cause blood clots in the legs. Standing up sometimes unblocks the clots causing a heart attack.
This is why it's always good if you're sitting down for long periods of time to stand up and move your legs and maybe walk around the room or your house for a minute to keep your blood moving
Sounds like he had a strong emotional reaction and then a vasovagal response. Chest pain could have been so many things, but that anxiety can make you very aware of your chest.
6:50 Right before I turned 28 I actually had a legit stroke (from a blood clot in my brain after having a neck injury). When I was in the emergency room I could think proper thoughts but when I tried speaking everything came out messed up and when I tried to use my phone to text my loved ones everything I typed was gibberish. What this dude is exhibiting is similar but nowhere near as extreme. My experience was debilitating; I was completely unable to form words with my mouth or written (I was also experiencing the worst pain of my entire life until the doctors blasted me with morphine). He may have experienced what he claims himself or he possibly had a transient ischemic attack (TIA) which is like a mini stroke from a temporary blockage in your brain that resolves itself quickly before major lasting damage is done. I had two TIAs in the days leading up to my stroke but had no idea at the time what they were. First one lasted probably about 15-20 mins and I thought it was vertigo from my neck injury. Second one was much more intense and happened the night prior to when I had the stroke. Bad headache at the base of my skull and much more severe loss of balance. A friend who was with me half-jokingly asked if I was having an aneurysm while she fetched me some aspirin. I again thought it was vertigo from my neck injury and slept it off that night. Everything was fine and normal again until the afternoon the following day when the big one hit. Whole left side of my body suddenly had this weird whoosh feeling followed by an immediate build up of pressure in my head that was agonizing. I was alone sitting in my parked car in my driveway at that moment and looked up at my reflection in the rear view mirror and my left eye was completely red as if every vein in it had ruptured. I stumbled out of the car in panic but the pain and pressure was too extreme to think anything rational. I managed to get my phone out of my pocket as I collapsed on the ground. I started to press buttons to initiate a call but I had no idea who to call and was becoming very confused and consumed by the agony in my head. I remember thinking "this is it, I'm dying" but not understanding why. I managed to get my legs crossed in front of me and I just gave in and slouched forward staring at the concrete, unable to move. I probably would have died or suffered massive lasting paralysis but instead of just staying there in the driveway while my brain died my step father pulled up out of nowhere and rushed over to me, helped me into his truck, and then drove me to the hospital. By the time he was wheeling me into the ER waiting room I was experiencing significant tunnel vision. I was slumped forward in the wheelchair as they rushed me over to the triage nurse and I remember my vision was almost completely black at that time except for the "tunnel opening" far in front of me. I remember I could see a small bit of hospital tile flooring through that opening while the nurse was asking for my name and problems. It was at that point that my speech was garbled. I mumbled gibberish sounds to her and I could detect an immediate shift in urgency in her voice as it went from half-bored to sharp and alert as she started to talk to the hospital staff and I was quickly wheeled out of the waiting room and into the actual ER so the doctors and nurses could try figuring out what was wrong. Because of my age and good health at the time, the possibility that I may have been having a stroke wasn't even considered. I was still able to move my hands and I was so out of it from the exhaustion of being in constant agony for so long that I didn't really notice anything off except for the odd fact that I could no longer swallow my spit and was finding myself choking on it unless I spit it out into a little kidney-shaped metal bowl the nurse gave me. They were hitting me with some pain killers but nothing was helping so they started pumping some morphine into me and that started to give me some relief but not much. I was also experiencing some serious dizzy spells. I was fine if I didn't move but the moment I turned my head I felt like my whole body was rolling down a hill and I wanted to puke. They stuck me in an MRI for about an hour and it was at this time I was drifting in and out of consciousness. They took me back to a temp bed in the ER where my mother and stepdad were waiting. Eventually a woman doctor with a really shitty attitude came in and straight up told us that they found a tumor in my head at the base of my cerebellum and that she was going to have to do a tracheotomy and spinal tap. All of this started coming at me very quickly and I sat there in shock, trying to process the fact that I had a brain tumor that may or may not kill me. My mother quietly cried next to my hospital bed. The woman doctor left after a few minutes and that is when the hospital had a shift change and the current staff was rotated out and replaced by the next shift. Shortly after, a new doctor came in and was the complete opposite of shitty woman doctor. He started off by saying he wanted to do some more tests before jumping to the conclusion that I had a brain tumor and sat down next to me and started asking me about my recent health. While talking to me he suddenly went still as if something just occurred to him and he asked me to turn to my mother and give her the biggest smile I could. He asked her if she noticed anything unusual and she immediately noticed that one side of my face was not smiling in the same way as the other side. He then asked me if I had sustained an injury to my neck recently. After I confirmed that I had hurt my neck really badly during my snowboarding trip two weeks prior he suddenly stood up and requested the nurse fetch a certain medication. As she left he then proceeded to tell us that he was almost certain that I did not have a tumor and that the mass in my brain that the MRI had picked up was a blood clot that was caused by my recent fall. He stated that the drug the nurse was getting was a "clot buster" and that if it was a blood clot it would quickly dissolve. Sure enough, the horrible pressure in my head started to ease after they injected me with the medicine. The sharp pain in my head finally went away and I was left with just a dull ache inside my head. They did a quick CT scan to see if the mass was still there and after confirming that it was no longer showing on the scans that it was indeed a clot and not a tumor. They moved me into the Neurology's ICU which was very dark and very quiet. It was a huge relief being away from the mayhem of the packed ER. I believe there were only two other patients inside the Neuro ICU during my stay there but I'm not sure. I do remember that they were vegetables, though. The only sounds were soft hums from the machines and the occasional tapping of a keyboard by the night nurse. After the doctors assured us that I was no longer in any immediate danger my mom and stepdad decided to head home for a few hours to try to get some sleep since it was very late at this point and they were exhausted from worrying all day and night. After they left, some other hospital staff quietly came into my room and started doing tests to measure my cognitive function and physical abilities. They did things like hold up pictures of scenes that you might see in a children's book and asked me to study the scenes and describe what I saw happening in them. They tested my hands and limbs and confirmed that the left side, while not paralyzed, was much weaker than my right side (I actually couldn't walk at that time but didn't know it yet because I made no effort get up due to my severe dizzy spells). They poked at me with sharp objects and found out I could no longer feel pain or temperature sensations on my left side, which was an odd sensation. The testing and conversation was all done very quietly and calmly so as not to be loud and disturb the ICU and was pleasant. I do not know at what point I dozed from exhaustion but I remember waking up several times and seeing that I had my own personal nurse watching constantly watching over me from behind the glass wall and she would quickly get up and come over to me to see if I needed anything when I looked at her. The next couple of weeks were interesting as I slowly started to recover and was finally transferred from the Neurology ICU into the general hospital and eventually discharged. Looking back at all of this that I just typed I can honestly say I could easily fill up a book with my story of the stroke, the care I received in the hospital, and the journey to recovery that is still ongoing this day. 13 years later I am almost 100% except for some lingering strange sensations on my left side that I have grown accustomed to and no longer bother me. The physical effects from the stroke are almost completely gone now but I feel there is a lot of psychological trauma that affects my mental health to this day. Getting lightheaded from standing up too quickly or a random normal headache was all it took to send me into a panic for a long time because I was terrified of having another stroke. Developed into a full-blown panic disorder that was at times debilitating until I got professional help for the anxiety and panic attacks after years of trying to deal with it on my own. Anyway....I do not know why I went through the hassle of typing all of this out. This is an old video and probably no one will even read this post. I guess it's just one of those things where you hold onto a bunch of stuff inside for years and then simply talking about it for some reason helps you feel better. I dunno. Hopefully my tale didn't bother anyone. I apologize if it did. I wish whoever reads this long lasting good health for yourself and your loved ones. Take care.
I'm glad you survived all of that. That is very scary and just goes to show that I should probably get my recurring headaches and dizziness addressed in case it's the calm before the storm.
@@unrealmemories1351 My intention was not to scare anyone with my tale but yes, if you have the means (money/insurance) to get checked out I would highly recommend it. You most likely are having migraines so I wouldn't get too worked up about it but it would still be a good idea to have a doc look. Who knows, maybe they'll be able to give you some meds or lifestyle changes that can minimize your discomfort when the headaches come. Take care and I hope everything is ok (it most likely is!).
That guy didn't have a heart attack. He had a Venus vagal attack. It's the nerve in your neck that can get pinched when you have too much anxiety, adrenaline going, when you get too excited, you're pushing too hard to use the bathroom, there's a lot of reasons. But basically the nerve in his neck got pinched for a moment while he was having too much adrenaline and it temporarily pinched off air to the brain and he passed out.
If someone is having a seizure you dont put them on their back and give them CPR. You have to make sure that they are on their side and wait for it to pass.
It looked like he was having a seizure... What's unfortunate about those is there's nothing you can do until their brain resets and thier cns begins to allow air to start coming in and out again.
That first clip got me... Hearing his partner in distress while trying to do what she can for him alone with no one to help. These things are heartbreaking to watch tbh. I also have adrenal problems so my body is constantly high on adrenaline, under stress the chest pain, collapsed, pain breathing and severely shaking are all symptoms your body can't take the adrenaline being pumped. I deal with this daily and have to take nearly 70 tablets and morphine due to my health.
2:22 this one could have been an anxiety attack, which would explain the fast and heavy breathing, and the chest pain. He most likely passed out from breathing too fast, not getting enough oxygen. During these moments, your mind jumps to worst case scenario, which is probably why he thought he was having a heart attack. (Mind you, he’s very young to be having a heart attack.)

Rush of blood while hyperventilating and not properly controlling his breathing. Pretty sure he just plain passed out.
It was just a panic attack. If you dont breath correctly during a attack this will happen. Black rings, needles in the hands... Everything he said is exactly what happens during a panic attack.

as someone who suffers sometimes from ocular migraine all I can say that it is really terrifying. On one eye I almost get completely blind for about 20 minutes. It usually worsens within that time.
I have it as well, it greatly varies in length and intensity, the worse one lasted for more than 13 hours, during that time I lost the ability to speak, write, think, or see properly. Truly horrifying. My doctor said it's migraine with aura.
i used to draw mine on my phone while it was progressing to show people what i was seeing XD i started driving a year ago and im terrified one is gonna happen while driving

It’s happened to me to. Trust me I’ve even been tested if I had an seizure activity and I was perfectly fine. But it’s something about the pressure and adrenaline that makes it happen. I was working at ruby Tuesdays and so much was happening that I like fainted. I was ok though

me and my brother used to sleep in the same room and he had a seizure right next to me and the ambulance came and took him and i was still asleep not knowing what had happened until morning
The first one is 100% not a heart attack. He most likely had a vasovagal episode caused by a blood sugar issue, adrenalin, or dehydration from not eating and drinking. He really should be checked out though to make sure he didn't have a cardiac event (not a heart attack, but an arrhythmia).
The person who thought he had a heart attack is more likely to got an adrenaline rush who sustain for too long. Because he hadn't eaten and drinking and also maybe has diabetes at an early stage. Because of this, he collapsed for a few minutes until the adrenaline level dropped and the blood pressure somewhat normalized. But it also could be something else, only a Medical examination would provide further information. An Heart Attack is possible but he didnt mentioned deafness in his fingers or pain in his left arm, what are normally signs for an heart Attack that is about to be occure.
From a medical professional perspective 1st guy - very unlikely to be a heart attack. He had just gone from sitting to jumping around to dark vision and pins n needles - which then starts to cause internal panic and eventual downward spiral to actual passing out. Made even more likely because he didn't eat or drink. Lothar - hallucinations are very common preceding a seizure (it's called an aura) I've seen many seizures and from what I saw it looks pretty textbook. BTW - seizures can absolutely life threatening (there are quite a few types so Google then if you want a full picture) especially if it's a prolonged seizure - as a person during a 'grand mal', tonic/clonic kinda seizure because you're literally not breathing for that whole time. In some cases, if the seizure isn't aborted (by use of certain medications) you die.
It's like everything is getting dizzy, you can read, but you can't read if you get what I mean. Jumping thoughts that make you forget what you just read, panic and shaking spreads through your whole body until you just collapse.
I thought morr like not enough oxigen getting to brain. I remember passing out like that when I was younger, after standing up too fast. Tall ppl know what im talking about.
This is not true, at least not in my case. I have had a grand mal seizure and many smaller seizures and not once has it affected my breathing. My grand mal left me nearly paralyzed, I could hardly move on my own and had to relearn how to walk and talk. The seizure itself was not visible at all. I went into a weird sleeplike state. I was crying and calling out nonsensically but there was no thrashing around or uncontrolled movements I just couldn't move and wasn't really "there" so to speak. After it was like waking up from a weird dream, I didn't know what had happened. Fortunately I was with friends who kept me safe and called paramedics.
I was recently hospitalized for abdominal pain. It was 3am and I was falling asleep with all the censors on my chest and I kept opening my eyes to the doctor standing over me asking me if I was alright. It happened three times in thirty minutes or so. All three times (I realized after studying the machine) that I stopped breathing and it sent the alarms off in my room. I had a seizure disorder as a child. I wonder if there's a relation. I almost felt Frozen in time the third time she was standing over me. And I immediately snapped out of it.

I've had an ocular migraine before and it really fucks you up. I literally could not concentrate on anything at all, everything felt like a blur to me.
I had a migraine like that once I didn't know what it was because I thought migraines always had head pain with them but I was only blinded by visual snow it was really scary for a few minutes.
That's a migraine with aura and without headace. I have the same but with headace and when it starts im basically blind because my vision is full of black pieces. First time i thought im going to be blind now, but after 1 hour everything goes back to normal.

The typing thing happens to me a lot. However this is only when im talking outloud while typing and it weird it does take a minute before it goes away.
To me, it looks like the first guy had a panic attack because of the huge amount of adrenaline pumping through him, but I'm not a professional so I don't know.
I remember my first time passing out. Hit head first onto hard ass tile. My head never hurt surprisingly when I woke up. Glad my head is hard or else I would be dead rn.
I remember I passed out in the bathroom. Me and my sister was brushing our teeth when all of sudden everything around me went black. I don't remember much but I do remember opening my eyes and that my hand was in the toilet. My sister said that I hit my head on the bathtub and that I was moving around a lot.

As a medical professional (EMT), I'd imagine Runescape guy had some sort of underlying condition that ended up being exacerbated by the lack of hydration and food intake.
I figured he just fainted. Dehydration, lack of food, sat down with low heart rate to stood up screaming with a high heart rate.
08:25 As an EMT, can you confirm that this claim that sleep deprivation causes heart disease is total rubbish? Isn’t heart disease when you get plaque buildup in your blood vessels?? Sleep deprivation doesn’t cause that - poor diet does!
@@ashcetenbeets5644
Except he said he was having chest pains. I bet it was a mild heart attack. Simply fainting doesn’t come with chest pains, afaik.
@@anti-ethniccleansing465 The feinting is usually a symptom of a different condition. A rapid change in blood pressure with a lack of food could easily cause chest pains and feinting.
@@ashcetenbeets5644
May I ask how you you know this?
He most likely didn't actually have a heart attack. He probably suffered what's known as a vasovagal episode. The low blood sugar from not eating could be exacerbated by the adrenaline rush. The sudden move to stand up after sitting for so long could very easily cause a drop in blood pressure, and with the other compounding factors, this could also explain the difficulty breathing, the sensation of pins and needles, the dizziness, and ultimately the blackout of consciousness. I've suffered several over the years, and they aren't fun at all.
I had several over the years too, standing fast, dizziness, for not eating for long periods of time. Is terrible, but now I know what it is.
Didn't know what this was called, but happens to me quite easily as well, if for some reason I don't eat for a very long time.

I thought I had that and my panic attacks under control these days but this video definitely give me really high anxiety .
My guess is hypoglycaemia + restricted blood flow from sitting for hours. So he got up too fast and fainted
A year late but I get these and experience exactly what you descibed.

With the guy who was unable to type, I have migraines, and when I have them, I can't think properly and I turn dyslexic. It's weird tho because they give you a headache, but he didn't bc he didn't mention it.
He did get an ocular migraine diagnosis, so he may have had a migraine and didn't mention it
@@artverse188 ik u start to lose the ability to function for like an hour before the pain, and this was the start of his migraine. i too have migraines. before the aura strikes, i see things becoming weird and I cant read. then i cant see. then the migraine strikes

It’s happened to me to. Trust me I’ve even been tested if I had an seizure activity and I was perfectly fine. But it’s something about the pressure and adrenaline that makes it happen. I was working at ruby Tuesdays and so much was happening that I like fainted. I was ok though
So that first video showed, (technically the 2nd) was actually a case of “syncope”. I actually have it to me a lot. Its scary af. I honestly have thought I was goin to die when this first starting happening. Basically your brain gets too much information and restarts. That was a panic attack caused by hyperventilation. Hyperventilation can cause severe chest pain/chest pressure/chest squeezing/racing heart/shortness of breath. If you don’t correct your breathing you’ll pass out.
Heart attack feels like some cement pouring in your left chest. You can move but it feels hardened. Like you're drowning. Out of breath. Took a liver punch.

That second guy was happier than an adult is after getting a successful job and planning their dream house.
Normal life is pretty bland in comparison.
The first one is 100% not a heart attack. He most likely had a vasovagal episode caused by a blood sugar issue, adrenalin, or dehydration from not eating and drinking. He really should be checked out though to make sure he didn't have a cardiac event (not a heart attack, but an arrhythmia).
You don't just have a heart attack for a few mins and then you're ok again.

That one dude didn't pass out, he just needs to pull his pants up.
What happened in the last video?
Wasn't a heart attack. It was hyperventilatory syndrome. I'm a Paramedic. He was breathing too fast and passed out.

@@itzevelyn-back7102 oh ok
Yup it happened to me once, I was hyperventilating, vision went blurry and I got dizzy, but it got better as soon as I laid down
From a medical professional perspective
1st guy - very unlikely to be a heart attack.
I forgot during A seizure your body gets seized and you stop breathing smh I'm dumb
