My fathers sister immegrated to Israel from Casablanca, Morocco in 1948. My Aunt and her 9 children,(she was a widow), stayed in the refugee camp on Cyprus until the Jewish state was cdeclared by the UN vote. Then my Aunt was housed in a cave in Maalot. My father and his brothers came to USA, but my Aunt was very deeply religious and wanted to be near Jerusalem. My father and his brothers all sent her money every month to make sure she and her children had enough to eat. My Papa visited her twice, by that time she had a house. Papa said she was happy and he loved it there. I think he would have preferred Israel to the USA.
I heard nothing from my father about his sister being treated poorly. My Aunt spoke only Arabic and never did learn Hebrew.
I hear lately how the Moroccan Jews were treated so well, but I dont beleive it. I do know for a fact that my father was homeless in Casablanca along with his family his whole life until he came to America when he was 35. I know that my father weighed 85 pounds and was 5 feet 6 inches tall when he arrived in the US. I know he had to be hospitalized for 9 months for Tuberculosis treatment. I know that half of my fathers family died in Casablanca from starvation, TB and Typhus. I do know thst my Papa had no desire to return to Morocco, actually he was terrified of being made to return. I do know that my father said they were so hungry in Morocco all they could do was sleep. I do know that my father loved Israel and it was his favorite place in the world.

In Iraq, Yemen and Egypt the Jews wanted to go to Israel because they were discriminated by the governments of Egypt(in the 1950s),Iraq and Yemen starting the 1940s.

These people left Morocco,Tunisia and Algeria where they had a good life and was good to them, to leave for a country they don’t even know.

Morocco was good to their Jews but after Israeli independence Morocco's largely traditional and religious Jews moved to Israel.
Some Tunisian Jews moved after the 2nd World War due to being scared because the Nazis invaded Tunisia and persecuted Jews.
Libya's Jews who came to Israel before Gaddafi took over Libya were traditional/religious but the ones who came to Israel after Gaddafi took over Libya had been persecuted and had companies and lands nationalized by Gaddafi.
Egyptian Jews were stripped of their citizenship after 1956 and had land and possessions taken by the Egyptian government and came to Israel with nothing.

    What absurd video is this?
Israel being a democracy there is no such thing
    as an "israeli regime".
