It is lacquered finish.
He has no drum mics yet the drum sounds are in stereo. How do you do that?
We use 2 room microphones and 2 overhead mics.
There is a huge difference between the export and the decade?
Wood export: poplar - assian mahogani, 1.3 triple flange hoops, 6 mm shells
Wood Decade: maple, 1.6 triple flange hoops, different lugs, 5.2 mm shells, best floor tom legs
Does the 3 piece kit decade maple come with heads
A new set like this will always have heads, they're not great heads, but they'll get you going.

@@burberryrem You never want those cymbals though... They're going to be bent to shit after a few hits. Better to just buy decent cymbals one by one. Maybe not pro cymbals but at least cymbals that can take a beating.

Well consider this pearl Decade is a maple shell kit and The Yamaha Stage Custom is a birch kit
You may want to look at the Ludwig evolution kit to it’s another seven piece kit
Or you may want to look at the Tama superstar Classic Kit

Lacks that good vintage sound...a bit plasticy.
Something about Pearl. The sounds it’s boring to my ear. Gretsch and Mapex really have the best sounding drums.
