You and O'Malley have been one of my most anticipated fights for a while now
Love the Sandman, but there's a huge talent gap here. Let's not forget that Cory said Chito would get the job done a few days ago. It's not reliable to listen to fighter's picks because there is no objectivity, especially in their own division. I truly hate to say it but Sandy would and probably will at some point get smoked by Suga. I'm sorry Cory...don't hate me.
@@orionsage7314 I wouldn't say that. Truly the only thing Suga has on Sandhagen would be a speed and blitz advantage. But Sandhagen is pretty much a more well-rounded Chito, but with a better outlook on fighting and a conscious mind of trying to win rounds unlike Chito. Sandhagen's mind is actually bulletproof with him being probably the most analytical fighter in the division. Top it off with better wrestling, just as good defense as chito, rivals O'malley in terms of comfortability in switching stances, Corey is a problem for O'malley. Sandhadgen vs O'malley is gonna be a fight for non-casuals as I think it will be a very high-intense chess match until it hits the ground.

I still dont think he wouldve been ready for this date. Now obviously merab wouldve been, being he fought before this one. And ik at the time he beat aljo, it was all a smoke screen by ufc & sean that his first defense would be in january sometime. They just originally said that, cuz they knew that would fit merabs or corys timeline. All along they knew it would be further out than january.
If he wasn't injured he'd probably be fighting O Malley instead of Chito and Merab would face the winner. Chito would probably be facing Petr Yan next instead of SYD

O'mally isn't the typical counter striker. He won't just wait for mistakes, He's comfortable coming forward and always giving his opponent a lot to worry about.

Best breakdown I've heard of the fight. Most likely outcome: Omalley by decision. Unlikely but possible outcome: Vera by TKO (finds a way to hurt Omalley again). Remember guys: IT ALREADY HAPPENED 😂

I feel like Chito will pressure Suga and be able to get in on him without actually landing a finishing shot.
Suga will out-strike Chito especially during the pressure moments but the fight will go the full 5 and Suga will win a close decision with one really stupid score card.

I think leg kicks and Chito's durability are the two biggest variables in this fight. Chito throws great leg kicks, O'Malley has small legs, and Chito has never been KO'd.
This is bad formula for O'Malley if it gets to the later rounds. Chito definitely has a chance to immobilize O'Malley. If he does this the fight is his.

I agree with the breakdown of contrasting styles. Chito's hesitant style will hurt him if he doesn't land impactful strikes early. Suga will keep feinting and pop Chito at a distance; also, the speed difference will just make Suga look like he's winning the entire fight because Chito's activity is not enough sometimes.
