What I mean is, if everyone carried their own self defense and everyone knew that everyone carried, there would be little to no shootings since anyone would have the kowledge that if you choose to open fire, you would instantly get shot and die. Yes, from where we are at now it would take a little while, say close to a year for this to work, but it would work in a perfect world.
