I believe this automobile help save the mid-size car segment from extinction in a world dominated by SUV’s. Later in the production Cadillac introduced the CTS coupe featuring a dramatic backend and bodyside scooped door handles. All the design language was there but too much elevation toping out the rear glass. The CTS sedan is my preference, but I commend Cadillac for doing a phenomenal job transitioning the 2015 ATS into a well balanced coupe.

I have a 2013 coupe 3.6 and debating whether to go supercharger or turbo. I bought the car with 140k on the ticker 3 years ago. Now its almost at 170k. Gonna take her off the road soon so i can pull the engine and start stripping it down for a thorough cleaning and new gaskets all around so i might as well take my time and put beefed up rockers, rods, cams, etc in it. Just cant decide which way i want to go. Wanted to just go buy a used V but here in North Carolina, they tax the 💩 out of you every year if you own newer vehicles. So i figure ill keep my '13 and make her V fast lol. If you know of any good single turbo kits for the 3.6, let me know.

I purchased a 2.8 in diamond white low miles from a Kia dealer non certified ,fixed water leak repaired power seat circuits redid brakes Oil undercoated new Goodyear’s on 18 ctsv rims that came with the car have now certified on the road not powerful but nice cruiser painted brakes nice wax job car looks good as new 2900.00 all in Canadian . Only mod I will do on this will be reduce restriction on exhaust possible muffler replacement . Super happy with the car getting 32 mpg on highway at 60 mph passes ok . But I want go fast I have a 1976 supercharged extremely modded L82 old school c3 stingray in blue and silver metal flake I had car 38 years I do all my own work paint body mechanical
Nice to see mods done on the v6 engines ,I also have a 3.8 2004 Grand Prix daily driver with over 400000km runs like new .I wish gm would have put the bulletproof 3.8 in the caddy ,there is not much weight difference and I get 35 mpg on highway with my Grand Prix with dual 2 1/4 stainless straight through mufflers and resonator removed at 110 km per hour and 1 timing chain lolololo

Jeremy McCown this isn’t my car man so I don’t know how much hp it was making before or after nor do I know how much the kit cost. I installed it for a friend of mine. The install is pretty straight forward and didn’t take to long. If you want to know more about the kit hit up overkill they are the ones who make it
I wrecked my 2011 STS 3.6 LLT so I went bought a 2008 CTS LY7 beautiful car with a blown engine...I was just gonna swap out the motor and transmission from the STS to the CTS using the STS harness and computers...will that work?

James Sowder google overkill superchargers. They are the ones that make the kit. They should be able to answer all your questions. This isn’t my car I was just building it for a friend
Why ? I have a 2011 cts 4 but if i wanted a good platform i would get a cts v. I can't imagine the oil you are going to consume by superchargering , bad enough already.
nate vermillion that’s the funniest shit I have ever read in my life. First off it’s an ECS supercharger NOT a procharger. Second and procharger IS a supercharger. It’s just a centrifugal supercharger instead of a top mount. Now that you been schooled do some research before you make a dumbass uneducated comment lol
Maybe when you have your own setup you will know how it is had a s10 blazer with after market supercharger I was dusting genesis/bmws / Audis off the launch shit was pushing 470 hp for for stock head and everything I think stock they came 140 hp

And while you do call it a cts in the beginning, at 1:09 the way you talked seemed to refer to that car as a ctsv, as you like coupes over sedans, while pointing to the vehicle in front of you. Hence the comment.

So it was about $4-6K having installed it himself. You can have your car shipped to them which they prefer of course it's just about $8K all together.
The 3.6L V6 is the wrong motor to drag race with or hop up. The timing chains can't handle it.
