I have a 12 year old miniature Doberman and I cook all her food! Chicken breast, beef.. raw chicken feet, sweet potato/pumpkin and lots of veggies. Her whole personality brightened up after I switched her diet and her hair is also SO soft. I think it’s great you’ve changed Brody’s diet, it will seriously make a huge difference in his overall health and lifespan ❤

Girly grocery delivery & pick up is the best. I usually go and pick my own veggies & fruit, but for everything else it’s a life saver. I have yet to go to trader Joe’s yet I am thinking of going because my husband now works in a plaza with a Trader Joe’s. Didn’t go before because it’s so far, but I have an excuse now. Happy to see your content back on the cape ❤

my roommate has a yellow lab and she makes homemade food for him!! she used to do half homemade half kibble to get him acclimated but now its al homemade!
You’re such a great dog momma to Brody🩵 I have 4 big boy dogs (yes 4🤣) and 2 of them are Goldens! We do Purina pro plan (chicken) for our youngest Golden and the rest of them are on salmon + rice blend from whole hearted! But I think it’s all about pup preference and what the pup parent can afford😊 you’re doing amazing🫶🏼

Raw fed dog over here! She grew up on Open Farm puppy kibble, but the last 7 months she's been on a raw diet and I can really tell how happy she is! Im located in Canada so I think our options are different but I think Brodie would be so happy. Even what you're feeding now looks great :)
I have a 1 yr old puppy so we haven't transitioned to a full human fresh food diet yet but we are going to eventually! Right now she gets half kibble mixed in with rice/chicken/pumpkin, and then gets an egg once a week and other veggies/fruits/sweet potatoes whenever!

I feed my dog farmers dog! She loves it and the vet told me she noticed my dog is overall healthier!
My dog passed away from heart failure, we took him to the left and she said he had dcm due to grain free diet, obviously I’m not a veterinarian so definitely consult with your vet and do whatever you feel best, just figured I would share 🤍

my dog will be 2 in a few weeks and he's been on a raw diet since he was 6 months. we use the brand 'big country raw' and alternate between 5-6 different meats (beef, fish, quail, duck, lamb, pork, bison) - he's allergic to chicken and turkey. i'm in Canada so not sure if the brand is available in the US but he loves his food and is in very good shape on raw!

We started feeding our dog a mix of protein (ground turkey or chicken we made with no seasoning) or eggs and kibble. Sometimes throw in frozen veggies or do fresh veggies or fruit for a snack. She loved it!!
We actually home make my dogs food ! But its boiled chicken, turkey , peas, carrots , rice and some other veg
I have a beagle so he literally lives to eat, and I’ve been feeding him blue buffalo for years now. The ingredient list is really good only stating things like deboned chicken and vegetables, things like that and the price point is really good. Sometimes I switch the flavour up, but I noticed he got a little ear infection once when I gave him the lamb one so we stick to chicken and beef ☺️ He does not get up until he hears the food in the bowl in the morning. He loves his food and loves it when we put a little water in it for him.😂

I feed my babies Ollie. Fresh pet has had a lot of problems with mold and being refrigerated so would not recommend. I’ve also heard Farmers pet is good but they are a little more expensive than Ollie.

Would not recommend FreshPet! Working for a major retailer it is almost never properly refrigerated so it’s likely moldy and gone bad before you even purchase it😕 I would recommend MyOllie, Dr.Harvey’s, and Farmers Dog! My little guy hasn’t been on kibble since he was 6mos, and while suffering from kidney disease they wanted him on a prescription kidney kibble. But I decided to home cook for him and interchangeably feed one of the above 3 and he is so healthy, thriving, and went from being told he wouldn’t live past 8mos to being 3 now and healthier than ever! Many kibble brands have been under recalls and scrutiny lately for dogs dying suddenly because the meat used was contaminated, so kibble scares me in general, and we’re lucky now our new vet strongly advises against kibble and believes our little guys turn in health isn’t coincidence. Feeding whole real foods makes a world of difference😊 Brody is so lucky he has you❤️

He won’t eat his kibbles unless we cover them in additives like apple sauce, pb, broth, something. Need to try something new.
