Ahhh, you see, many people on the World Wide Web (cough _Americans_ cough) say 'Britain' or 'British' when what they _mean_ is 'England' or 'English'. For example:

Whereas, visitors from The UK (cough Brits cough) do so well in both identifying and understanding those with Cajun, Creole, low-country, up country, Piedmont, sand hill, Appalachian, central coast, panhandle, and peach perfect accents. Of course, that's just one tiny microcosm of the diversity of accents found in America. Tourists who never encounter those very fine folks might just have a smidge of difficulty...same as those tens of millions of Americans who've never seen the ocean or own a TV due to lack of funds might have some difficulty in understanding one of the Celtic accents. Pot. Kettle. The real gift? Having someone interested enough in what you're saying to ask you to repeat or explain something.
Only note worthy Scots are British. The average Joe Scot is Scottish.

My husband and I watched Beauty and the Beast last night, for the first time (This version) I have been a fan of Ewin McGregor forever .. his speaking and singing voice captivates me. I can recognize just his voice anywhere... however in this movie, I had no idea he played the candlestick. Compliments to him for becoming the candlestick, because he fooled me. As for the movie, omg it was better than the original. I didn't much care for Emma Watsons role though. She wasn't bad, but I kept waiting for her to say, "Oh yeah, that's how Belle says it / does it / " etc. The scene in the library, it's like she forgot to be excited. Still, this movie was 10 outta 10. Go watch it!
