Adderall and vyvanse did that shit to me too. I like strattera. I hated the anxiety stimulants gave me.

My doctor is like "well it shouldn't really be making you sleepy when you first take it"...
This was the first medication I started, I was in a very bad place and we were trying to lessen my ADHD symptoms so that maybe depression would lessen. The black box warning is not a joke! On the first 2-3 weeks, as described by my mom, I was a mess, everyday was me screaming and losing my mind, saying I wanted to kms. I'm 14 now and taking a stimulant called Vyvanse, it really helped me realize how much my depression was caused by the horrible effects of Adhd
I've learned for my son... he's 14... if you are having extreme fatigue or tiredness.... take Strattera at night. He sleeps better, not falling asleep at school now, no more mood swing from being exhausted, he acts better, feels better... huge difference... you might try taking it at night.... just saying
That's what we did with my son. Such a big difference, a good one. Mine is 8

Hi all, I have been using Amoxetine 18mg for about 10 days and I am starting to get excited as I am noticing MAJOR differences to little things such as closing a cabinet door, clear and concise conversations. But I am a male and there is a major issue I am dealing with, painful urination, it is so bad. Has anyone had this and did it eventually subside, I am so worried about the pain not going away but amazed I went through life without taking anything to get my head straight. Thank you in advance.

I had alarming sexual side effects, specifically premature ejaculation. I was 40 at the time, and this had never been a problem. Freaked me right out.
There are very bad side effects in the bedroom, and random testicular pain are big problem
I took atomoxetine for the first time today. I got the dry mouth bad, which sucks because that was one of the main things that made me stop stimulants. The nausea kicked in about 30 minutes after I took it and I ended up heaving in my truck before work. No fun. Luckily my stomach settled after that. I also feel kinda out of it. Very relaxed, but it's making me drift away from what I'm trying to do.I know these can stop after I've used the medication for a while, but now I'm scared to take it tomorrow lol. I may take it at night instead of in the morning.

I quit taking it. The nausea got better as long as I ate with it, but it wasn't helping my ADHD symptoms like the stimulants did.
@@amandaengelman5168 oh i see. do you remember how long you took it for, are you on a stimulant now?
I also had my first day yesterday. Very bad indeed. I slept a lot but woke up after 2 hours.. sweating, vomiting, constipation. I felt better with Modafinil and Ritalin but this is dangerous. I am not sure if I want to take one today.

Its causing semen to leak prematurely for me even before orgasm.
yep. Me too. I only take Strattera as needed. Helps a lot.

I’ve been taking strattera for about two weeks now. This was prescribed by my psychiatrist after trying stimulants. I experienced side effects with both Ritalin and vyvanse (nausea, sore throat, anxiety - just with vyvanse though) Vyvanse didn’t do much for me, but Ritalin gave me a noticeable improvement in my symptoms prior to stopping the medication.
My psychiatrist has suggested not to give up on Ritalin just yet, and that if I can tolerate strattera, it may act as a precursor to to tolerating Ritalin in the future (provided strattera doesn’t prove effective on it’s own).
I wonder if this sounds plausible to you, or if you’ve heard of this occurring? Great video - thanks again!
Urine!! Urination…Dark, sometimes brown. Drips out slowly. Dreams are intense. Ant sleep easily. And only 40mg….stuck …maybe CPTSD and not ADHD??

Wow this!!! I literally have all 3 of those symptoms after being on this medication for 6 days. SMH. The ejaculation part is VERY concerning if you’re sexually active.. it makes me just randomly ejaculate without having an orgasm. Very unwanted pre ejaculating. Does it ever stop??

i just started strattera, but years ago an ssri for me killed my ability to "finish" in the bedroom, which was horrible for me. im hoping strattera doesn't cause that for me...
I am so glad its not just me. Its a strange thing to see ejaculate before ever feeling orgasm.

i did not start with recommended 40 mg for first few days, straight to 80 mg , could this and other things be reason why i have no effect observed even after months of taking it
Constipation on only 25 mg. Dizziness and nausea that kicked in about week 4. I am stopping it.
Bru, my doctor recently tryied to put my on these pills...
Just because i had minor sideeffects from Vyvanse, i did my research before and i was shocked! returned the unopened box.
Didnt even try one.
Strattera is basically cyanide.
Next i told my doctor to lower my Vyvanse from 30mg to 20mg instead.
Any doctor should try these pills themselves before ever prescribing it, especially to children
This thing had me so messed up I quit it after the first day. Heart was all over the place and then I literally fell asleep with my face on my keyboard.

do Side effects eventually go away or stop?
That’s what I’m wondering too, almost 2 weeks in and have had increasing dizziness, floating feeling in my head, and cold sweats the past week. It’s making me scared to drive.

Were you saying that if you become sedated or fatigued you were most likely misdiagnosed?

There are daily side effects that dont take weeks to take effect
Smell like sweat
