    My psychiatrist diagnosed me with late insomnia, and she prescribed 25 milligrams of Quetiapine. It provided brilliant instant relief and was an effective solution. I used it for 9 months, and then we ceased its use. However, after 4 months, the late insomnia issue returned 😅. Surprisingly and strangely, I am now taking 6 milligrams of Quetiapine, and it still completely relieves me from waking up without having an adequate amount of sleep.

    BLOOD SUGAR LEVELS ↑↑↑ The opposite of ketosis ...welcome to the fat club. Larger doses, watch out. But at 25mg, it did help me sleep. I stopped because I didn't wanna build up tolerance. I guess I get four hours of decent sleep a night on average now. BUt when I slept well, I was often a mess, but then again, I had those good golden days too.

    Hello. Do you run a genetic test first on all your patients to see which meds are more effective for your patients, and those that aren’t as great for the patient? I was on lexapro and I really felt like it worked for me, but once I started to see a psychiatrist she ran a generic test showing lexapro was in the middle portion (yellow section) for me and the pristiq showed it coming back as a better one (green section) along with others but I don’t seem to feel right in pristiq. Is there a nice way to tell my provider (because I’m not the professional) that I would like to be back in lexapro?

    My experience was that Ativan was causing more panic attacks which occurred about the time the next dose was due. This was on the minimum dosage. I was told by psychiatrist it could cause death if stopped cold turkey. It took less than two months to transition to another medication.

    Panic disorder since the age of 10 and now depression at 33. I was on Paxil 20mg for around 15 years and it worked well for me. Then it just stopped. I dont know why my GP and Psychiatrist put me on Venlafaxine. Why didn't they try another SSRI? That's my question. Ive been jacked up to 375mg and still get anxiety and depresssive episodes. I just want to add that ive been in therapy for the last 2 years which has helped me tremendously. I just want to change meds as i feel that's the missing link. But GP and Psychiatrist dont want to change. What should i do?

    @Andres-kv4ib If you’re having trouble reading your prescription label, talk with your doctor or pharmacist. Some pharmacies offer labels with large print, braille, or a code you scan with a smartphone to convert text to speech. If your local pharmacy doesn’t have these options, your doctor or pharmacist might be able to recommend a pharmacy that does. If you’re having trouble opening medication bottles, ask your pharmacist about putting Xanax in an easy-open container. They also may recommend tools that can make it easier to open bottles.

    @Andres-kv4ib Oh you want it translated into English? Ok well in short the tolerance for Xanax can increase over the course of just a few weeks. Higher doses or more frequent doses will then be needed to feel the desired effect. Physical dependence caused by long-term use of Xanax means the body has gotten used to having the drug in its system. When the brain and body realize they have gone without Xanax, withdrawal symptoms appear. The body now needs the medication to function. Withdrawal symptoms trigger the brain to have mental cravings, compulsions and psychological withdrawals.

  • @user-md7fw1ko2q
    @user-md7fw1ko2q Před 3 dny

    @Andres-kv4ib says my replies are not in English so hopefully this is clear in English and other members here can verify the reply is in English. As strange as it might sound, another great alternative to taking Xanax is to simply make a few changes to your lifestyle. Sometimes, we lead lives that don’t promote healthy mindsets or worse, actively harm our mental health. Mindfulness techniques have helped millions of people manage their anxiety symptoms. Some people use meditation or yoga as their mindfulness exercise, while others find that listening to music, reading, or simply going for a walk helps clear their minds. Breathing techniques and grounding exercises are also extremely popular. Exercise, in general, is proven to boost your mental health and fight symptoms of anxiety and depression, as is getting enough sleep. Beyond that, try to eat a healthy diet full of all the nutrients your body needs. It might surprise you how often a nutritional deficiency can contribute to mental health struggles. I am currently not taking Xanax but believe I have typed in English.

    I had an elderly doctor tell me that the biggest problem with _Alprazolam_ is that it works *too well!* 😱 I've been struggling with *severe* panic attacks for years, and it even put me in the hospital once. 🏥 Doctors tried to treat me with antidepressants for years, and nothing stopped the attacks (I tried at least 15 different medications). 🤦‍♀️ Finally, I was prescribed Alprazolam, and it worked (for me) like a miracle! ✨ I went from almost daily attacks to ZERO instantly. 🤯 My elderly doctor said it is risky (dangerous if misused or mixed with other medications or alcohol), and once you've had it, *nothing compares* to its effectiveness (for MY body/brain chemistry). It's a blessing and a curse. I want to get off, but the panic attacks keep coming back every time I try to reduce or change medications (including other benzos). Any advice?

    I jave just switched from lorazepam to Clonazepam ncuz i was on the laraz. For a long time and needed to try something different that may help better maybe due to tolerance I'm assuming. I was taking 6 mg of lorazepam and now I'm taking 4 mg of the clonazepam and I'm not too sure how I feel about it yet. I can say that I definitely can notice the half-life being much longer with the clonazepam. I'm going to stick with it for another month and just take it a month at a time.

    I like this. It can mean how you think about how others treat you and talk to you, about you ect. Usually, any reaction, or action is bad, or you are giving them what they want: To anger you, ruin your day, put you down, get a reaction from you, make you realize you are powerless against their power, not as smart or successful as they are, whatever. By taking action, answering back to get them to stop, or back off, you can make things worse. What is difficult is that you don't know exactly why they are doing it. I think it is multi-facetted as most things are. Thank you for these great graphics. They help a lot. Much love...you look nice 🩷

    You must remember clearly that people can become physically dependent on Xanax, especially if they take the medication every day or very often. Physical dependence means that their body does not function appropriately in the absence of Xanax. If a person has been taking Xanax for a long time and wants to come off it, they should speak with a healthcare professional to work out a safe method for discontinuing the drug. People may also experience negative effects when coming off Xanax after taking it for a long time. Talking with a doctor and following a discontinuation schedule can help avoid these symptoms. Using alprazolam the generic name for Xanax, even as prescribed, can lead to physical dependence and withdrawal if a person stops taking the drug suddenly. Withdrawal can be life threatening and remember my friend that the misuse of alprazolam (Xanax) increases the risk of overdose and death.
