@@cristobalfernandosanchezma5409 trung ngo was the old vocalist. he left the band after their mixtape era. I think "lonely women" was the last project before his leave - but he still helped the band with albums like french exit. i dont think he left for a bad reason, he just went to pursue other passions and i think they're all on good terms still.

You just need to understand that what you feel for this song or any other will not be diminished by this song becoming big on tiktok. Even if they listen to it casually and to you it means more than that. Both ways of listening to any song are okay and neither one is worth less than the other just because the other exists too

Fan since 2011...but I just found this video now for the first time, and I'm hooked. I prefer this to the official release...it makes me wonder, is this how their creative process started? Meaning, would they (especially when Trung was in the group) start by writing a song, and then all the other stuff later? I guess all this time I imagined all the creative work happened with loops first, and then they'd put a melody/lyrics over that. It's interesting to think of them starting with a keyboard and guitar instead, and then adding all the trippy/loopy stuff in production.
