- I printed a Spiderman 2099 helmet on my Kobra 2 Max, P1P and P1S. Here are the results and comparison between the printers. #3dprinting #3d #3dprinter @BambuLab @anycubicsupport917@ANYCUBIC3D @ElegooOfficial
I'm also considering the Kobra 2 Max. Thanks for sharing your experiences!
You're welcome. I've got a TPU video coming out either later today or tomorrow on the K2 Max with some surprising results.
I just printed the same helmet with excellent print quality on my Bambu X1C. I was able to print the main helmet by turning it cata-corner and leaning it back. Good video.
That's awesome! I've gotten some really nice helmets printed on my BambuLabs. Black Panther comes to mind. It looked awesome, you should give it a shot if you like BP.
Thinking about getting the Kobra 2 Max. Thanks for the video.
I had the old Kobra Max and this one blows that one away! I recommend it if you are looking for a large printer.
Thanks for the video. I am looking into getting a larger printer for printing helmets. Which magnets do you use on your helmets?
You're welcome! I get all of my magnets from kjmagnetics.com.
@@3DPrints747-ku2gm Thanks so much. I'll check them out. What size disc magnet did you purchase?
It depends on how you scale the helmet. To be honest I have about 6 different sizes just laying around so don't really know the size I used.
How does the speed compare? Those bamboo lab printers can be really quick. I’m looking to replace my creality cr v2 printers. Maybe with a couple of bamboos.m🤔
I started a print on the P1P and the K2 Max. Same prints, took all default settings from the slicers, Bambu Studio vs Anycubic's slicer. The prints looked identical and the K2 Max finished about 5mins faster. Maybe I'll get a video going this week to compare prints between the two making sure they are using the same print speeds.
With that said, I know that I can rely on my BambuLab printers so if I ever have to just print something and go to bed, the print always ends up on the BambuLab.
How have your prints gone since you’ve printed this helmet with the any cubic 2 max? Are they still printing wall or are you running into issues like everybody else?
Surprisingly I've had zero issues with the K2 Max. I'm very happy with it. But if you don't need the print volume I'd get a P1P for the seamless slicing, printing and remote monitoring.
I would rather use Cura than the anycubic slicer
Cura is much better!
Hey @3Dprints747 I also have a Kobra 2 max and use Anycubic slicer, they do have Tree supports they just call them organic supports, also using snug supports are pretty good also, great vid !!
I will give that a test, thanks!
the reason I will not buy a K-2Max is because it is closed source and can't use another slicer also that your creations are not private!!! sooo I am going to stick with my neptune 4 Max, but that is why it crashed AnyCubic made it incompatible with any other slicer
I use Orca Slicer and put the GCode on the USB stick to print them. I only print stuff that I don't create over wifi...
Anycubic is not watching this and they do not care.
I've had many conversations with them and they seem to care...
