This is a bridge between Alpine and Mediteranean (with emphasis on fado). Still looking for a bridge between Alpine and Carpathian. I am certain that it exists.

Thank you for your very nice zither playing. I have been teaching myself the zither for about two years ( in Munich tuning )and learning tunes from music books and from watching CZcams. I have managed to work out this piece by watching your video. This is just the kind music I need as it's just within my playing ability and sounds great. Greetings from South Wales, UK.

Thank you for your comment. I love this piece because especially because easy, but sounds great. We often play it as a duo or trio. What else are you practicing? All the best from Vienna

@@zithersound. Hello, thank you for your reply. I have been playing one or two easy pieces from some books but I find that I do better working out tunes on CZcams. There is one very nice piece, ALTWIENER WALZER - Elfi & Leo Gach. It sounds like it's in Vienna tuning so I had to rearrange it for Munich tuning in the key of C. I also changed the intro and the end of the first part with something of my own. I also like Magdalena Pedarnig - Herzallerliebst Walzer - Herbert Pixner, and Langsamer Landler - von Peter Moser. I can't play them very well but hopefully in time and with a lot of practice I will get there. One other piece, Zitherschule, Ländler which is played on guitar and keyboard. This is an easy tune to play and sounds very nice, I also worked out a variation to it to play the second time round. You might like to look at this your self. Kind regards.
