Gregory Hines remarked that there will never be a biopic created for these two men due to the fact that no one could recreate their dance moves. I'm an Internet Dance Routine Troll, and have never come across any dance routine that is anything remotely like this one. Too high on the bars of technicality, timing and coordination, conditioning, and straight-up fearlessness on the part of the Nicholas Brothers. Cannot be duplicated. Best to start from scratch and create one's own timeless masterpiece.

Movie directors use all sorts of documented techniques to create stunts. It's not rocket science. Since your reading comprehension is so low, I will repeat. I did not attempt to discredit the Nicholas Brothers. The question was asked how the stunts could be done, and I stated how above. These are simple techniques directors use to prevent harm to actors and stunt people alike. It's common sense. Take some time to watch footage that goes behind the scenes of action sequences. The materials used and the techniques used are explained. Talking about those things does not discredit anyone. It's just reality.

I'd say it's more about dedication than natural talent.
Back then there was no internet, no games or even television eg. Less things to "distract" you. So I guess once people picked a profession or career back then, they probably devoted their whole time and lives to it, because if you didn't then there's not much else to do. Unlike today where you have all these "distractions" like the ones I mentioned competing for your time.
You can tell with the singers and dancers of the time, how much practice they put into their performances to be able to pull it off so flawlessly.

The movement of one's body through time and space in such an expressive and energetic way must feel so liberating. What makes this amazing performance even more of a joy to watch is their faces. It isn't just the professionalism of smiling while they perform. They are truly enjoying themselves and in the zone while dancing. Superb!

Truly incredible :D What I appreciate about tap dance: tap dancers don't just DANCE to the music they ADD to the music with their tap shoes!!! Really makes each performance an original.

I watched this dance sequence/ and the entire movie on my families black and white TV in 1955 when it was common to watch the same movie repeatedly . I remember being “lifted up” by their energy and joy !! I maybe watched it 5 times just to experience that dance!!!

👄Fayard and his sister, Dorothy, first danced together and taught younger kids to dance. Harold joined them and Dorothy eventually bowed out. Who you see here are the two brothers, Harold and Fayard!!

Legendary show for original artists with style and pizazz. This was around the time TVs were first added to the market, so this was most likely one of the first dance shows on the tube. Great performance!

this might just be my favourite video ever. i love everything about it from the snazzy jazz to the dancing itself, and i especially adore how exuberant and joyful the dancers are. i love how wild and energetic this is compared to most tap, which in my opinion, often ends up leaving the upper torso woefully underused; however, these men are really putting their souls into it and there isn't a moment that any part of them is still. i especially love how their movements are so synced up, but they're still full of each dancers' own individual flairs and movements, so the dance is nice and synchronized but the dancers still overflow with personality and charm. my favourite little detail is how for one of them, his carefully slicked-back hair comes loose from just how intense and energetic the dancing is.
