    Stunning Mont Blanc climbing via Goûter Route (Normal Route)! After taking the Tramway du Mont Blanc to the Gare du Nid d'Aigle (2372m) we started the ascent to the Refuge de Tête Rousse (3167m) to stay there for one night. The next day we crossed the Grand Couloir early in the morning and climbed up steeply to the Refuge du Goûter (3835), where a breathtaking sunrise awaited us. After a short break our rope team continued the climb to the highest peak of the Alps. We reached the summit at 10:10 a.m.. Then we started the long descent back to the Gare du Nid d'Aigle.

    super vidéo! Mais un petit point critique : la pointe du piolet doit toujours pointer à l'opposé du corps ; en cas de chute, le risque de blessure par la pointe est très élevé

      @@maltmountain I'm planning on going next year or year after. I've done a lot of places in the UK, and I'm always a bit nervous about ridges though The summit ridge on this video doesn't look too bad . How steep/scary did you find the ridge?

    • @maltmountain
      @maltmountain  Před 2 lety +1

      @@AlphaToEpsilon It was a little bit windy up there, as you can see in the video. Nevertheless we felt safe in our rope and we had an amazing view on both sides of the ridge:) there are some steep parts but it wasn’t a technical challenge. Fear of heights certainly depends on the individual..but I think that should be feasible:)
