I think it would be better if Göring had traits which gave bonuses for air warfare

If anything, he was a detriment to the Luftwaffe.

If the leader of Nazi Germany is the Luftwaffe obsessed Goering it should have air bonuses representing how he'd probably inflate it with funding and have preference for them over the Kreigsmarine and Wehrmacht (not to mention all the close connections he'd have asking him for favours), so perhaps it could be represented with a slightly increased air production efficiency. If his mismanagement must be represented then just increase the cost of air doctrines

The intro editing is cool. Would like to see you play a game as Equatorial Guinea by the way and do a similar challenge to your Iceland one, perhaps take over Spain. Seems super hard since its one of the smallest releasable countries in Africa and is surrounded by France, and probably doesnt have any factories at the start I don't know can't remember

If you hire Heinrich as an advisor as Germany, he gives you access to the foreign recruitment decisions. And if you do a good few of these decisions while angering a specific faction, there is a chance for a coup to fire and assassinate the moustache man, allowing you to get Heinrich, Hermann and I think also some other options. It would be interesting to see a playthrough going for Himmer instead, similar to this one

the 3rd option is to play as the non-aligned Wehrmacht in the ensuing civil war. I'm pretty sure the leader becomes von kluge.
26:27 Well, technically you have Sitzkrieg (Sitting War), but that was used specifically as a name for a period of no battles fought on a French-German border between invasion of Poland and attacking Benelux countries in 1940.

You can also switch to Göring/Himmler by enraging the SS/Wehrmacht with the Himmler SS decisions, which is easier, you can also overthrow hitler as a general (due to bug generic leader) if you enrage the SS to kill hitler and cause a civilwar
It's way easier because you get multiple coup attempts
Challenge idea: BUILDINGS ONLY
1) Select Japan
2) Release and play as the Mariana Federation while retaining Japan's core states
3) Realize you have 42 population and zero manpower
4) Use buildings to gain warscore and annex states with sufficient manpower to build an army
5) ???
6) Profit?

I made a challenge for myself recently, and after a few months was able to finally beat it. It would make me happy to see you attempt it to see how our approaches and levels of success differ.
Challenge: Capitulate Italy as Yugoslavia before 1939, without the help of any other countries that aren't already your puppet.

As Italy, "march" from Italy to Poland then take its place (you essentially replace Poland. Maybe find a way to release all your original cores. If it doesn't work then maybe just leave a single province and neglect it or something). Once you do that, play as if you were Poland from the beginning the whole time.

I've done this before in a multiplayer game as Germany when the Allied players decided to gang up on me and go interventionist - managed to sneak a naval invasion into the UK and ended up winning, though I did it with Himmler instead.
U can also get him by pissing off SS thru the recruitment mini game after u taken countries
Create the Greater East Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere and honestly be a good big brother to the other nations while throwing out the Western colonial powers.

Iraqi arabia is the hardest challenge you can do i tried it like five or six times and barely was able to do it
I simply sided with the cccp then tried to take everyone
But another strategy is to side with the axis’s then turn against them

Suggestion: Make US and Soviets fascist before. Get everyone else in the world to Allies. You play Fascist US and fight against everyone else in the world with your Soviet buddy. :)
That would be a fun co-op struggle.
No early war shenanigans, just turn both US and Russia to fascist ASAP, then wage war across the world. Civil Wars devastate both countries and weaken them enough to make it a pure uphill climb as the world unites under the Allies lol

to transfer manpower without annexing your puppet needs one level higher than being able to be annexed by their overlord
at least thats what i did wrong when i tried this trick, it was very very annoying lol

I love your content and here’s a suggestion that I think you should do a Germany which doesn’t use blitzkrieg but trench warfare so only infantry, artillery, cavalry & and few light tanks
You can also get Goring by making all the reichskommisariats, then clicking on the recruit SS divisions options, but only selecting 'recruit specialists for OKW'. This will cause the SS to get angry and eventually assassinate Hitler, at which point you can then select Goring as the new leader of Germany.

I would like to see a normal, historical France-run where you go down Little Entante path and try to defend Czechoslovakia against the Germans and Poland against the Soviets. However, I would like it even more if you do not ally with Britain (if they join against the Germans that is okay but don't do the focus that invites the English to your faction).

actually, field marshalls get half the bonuses from general traits, so it's still worth it to give them infantry experts

yeah they get half benefits, but getting field marshal traits is still more important
does it stack? would infantry under an infantry expert generakl and an infantry expert field marshall get 15% attack instead of 10%?
@@Taureor yes they stack, all the bonuses stack, so if a general has inf expert the field marshall has inf expert, the units get 15% attack bonus.

the exploit mentioned by whoever I've done plenty of times only during very laggy late games mostly by accident in super modded games, otherwise it flat out doesn't work, even then it's very unlikely to happen
I'm not sure what's going on that causes it but usually I'm only able to do it by around 1950 or much later and with around >800 or so more >30w divisions, so the annexing puppet method is the only reliable way to do it
there is also a chance since you're using a collab government your puppet divisions are using 100% their manpower which causes them to get deleted instead of (maybe) transferring over manpower, so a normal puppet would probably be required where it's more like a 75/25 ratio
I'm a big Gustavus Adolfus dweeb, so if you can recreate the Scandinavian empire at its peak, that would be very gud mid oss of you
Hi there! I would like to suggest to play EaW Mod, or rather, to experience the various ways of monarchism in the countries of the Griffins. Unfortunately, the minors won't take much time to make interesting or dynamic content enough, so I can suggest going through the same country in different ways, for example, Katerina Principality, because the truth lies at different angles and ideologies.
In short - play Katerina Principality in EaW and try to build up the whole story of the mad princess.

Bonus points if you don't ban the communist party after finishing all those communist focuses.
Bonus points for keeping FDR in charge.
I recommend you avoid escalation for the first event you get from the communist path. You can keep the 'non-aligned' states when the civil war starts if you choose to avoid escalation.

FYI, the correct way to transcribe the character Ä is with AE, not A. If you want to type "Kätzchen" with a non-German keyboard layout, it needs to be "Kaetzchen." "Katzchen" looks very weird to German eyes.
I know it has the dots, umlaut? something like that. I speak a little German, but never bothered to transcribe as ae, ue, oe, and so on. I guess you are correct, but I was "thinking with the dots"
@@Taureor Yup, Ä, Ö, and Ü are the three umlauts and must be transcribed as AE, OE and UE respectively when technical reasons prevent their use. That retains the correct pronunciation. Also, if you ever run into the special German character ß, that's transcribed as SS.
