With the last point on important notes I mean that for you it might not be exactly half a tip that euqals one diamond, but maybe 0.45 or 0.55 - depending on your tip with it's curvature and the condition of the rails and environment. I hope you enjoyed this lesson. See you at 100,000!

Just a bit of additional information to add, speed is a significant factor especially on different types of tables (i.e diamond vs valley vs Brunswick) as well as speed on the english being used.
A recommendation I have for learning kicks is to use the same speed whenever you using english, so that you have a basis to work off of for future shots.
Another great video sharivari, I send alot of your videos to people who always ask me for help on learning how to play pool. You always have great visual aids in your videos. Which makes them perfect for beginners

FINALLY!!! I've watch so many videos about calculating angles. They're basically "count the diamonds" as if the balls are always going to be perfectly lined up. But no one really shows clearly how to adjust on the cue ball like this video. They just say "u will have to make adjustments so practice doing that." (Obviously) But your explanation of "how to" is great & immediately answered the questions that the other videos left me with. Really APPRECIATE you taking the time to make this.

Thanks for this Sharivari! I am definitely going to use this in the future. I really like the idea of top and bottom english to lessen or strengthen the angle of reflection. I can see the usefulness of the tips and diamond system, but that will take a lot more getting used to. But that was great you introduced that helpful drill. This video will be a useful reference to fully digest and incorporate everything presented.

I really enjoy your channel. The funny thing is, some of your lessons are giving away little secrets I've known for years just through practice/trial and error on my own table in my basement. Sometimes I will pull off a shot I know I have a really good chance of making only to see the bewilderment in my friend/bar opponent's face. I think I used the "I got lucky" saying before Efren Reyes did. I started learning this back in the early nineties when I met a guy at a bar who could put more English on the cue than anyone I have ever met, even to this day. This guy was nothing short of amazing. He never drank, never bet, but almost always won. For hours. He had a poker face too but I used to watch where he was hitting the cue ball and that's when he started teaching me some of his knowledge. Your lessons are fantastic. I cannot believe that stuff I've learned by watching you, and others on here. Some things I should have known along time ago but never really gave much thought to because what little I do know has always been enough to win more than lose.

I agree with the end very much. Many casual players play on well used tables where the felt and rails are significantly worn and will affect the english and angles. Often times, a regular user of a worn table will have an advantage being accustomed to that specific table's behavior.
