With the last point on important notes I mean that for you it might not be exactly half a tip that euqals one diamond, but maybe 0.45 or 0.55 - depending on your tip with it's curvature and the condition of the rails and environment. I hope you enjoyed this lesson. See you at 100,000!
Thank you....see you
Just a bit of additional information to add, speed is a significant factor especially on different types of tables (i.e diamond vs valley vs Brunswick) as well as speed on the english being used.
A recommendation I have for learning kicks is to use the same speed whenever you using english, so that you have a basis to work off of for future shots.
Another great video sharivari, I send alot of your videos to people who always ask me for help on learning how to play pool. You always have great visual aids in your videos. Which makes them perfect for beginners
Wow amazing sir idol god bless more power from your number one fans in the Philippines thank you
Hey man, good explanations, I want to buy a table but I don’t know which is worth it’s money. Which table did you use in your Video?
czcams.com/video/z6-RIHz8io4/video.html
If there would be an award for best online pool teacher, it would be for you. Kudos to you man.
Yes him and Dr. Dave. Even Dr. DAVE told me Sharivari will beat him. 😁
I agree Tim. I watch quite a few of these instructional videos, and Sharivari is by far the best.
On the money. This guy is brilliant
Thank you!
Sir, You reinforced logically what I’ve learned from playing billiards for over 50 years. I share your lessons with my youngest daughter and who is becoming a formidable opponent. Cheers!
You literally just changed my life. Thanks for your teaching skills and information.
FINALLY!!! I've watch so many videos about calculating angles. They're basically "count the diamonds" as if the balls are always going to be perfectly lined up. But no one really shows clearly how to adjust on the cue ball like this video. They just say "u will have to make adjustments so practice doing that." (Obviously) But your explanation of "how to" is great & immediately answered the questions that the other videos left me with. Really APPRECIATE you taking the time to make this.
Glad it was helpful!
I been playing pool my whole life, I had no clue about this. Thanks for sharing the knowledge man.
I've always just hit center ball kicks. Now I see how helpful high and low are. Thanks Shaivari!
Another grand slam video! No matter where the cueball is located, it's all about using the angle of reflection to determine what a player does with the shot in order to adjust the track path to pocket the object ball. Thanks again for great explanations and demonstrations!
Sharave this is THE BEST VIDEO on kicks &banking I ever watched, you simplified how to figure out &adjust the CB,very, very elegant engineering, BRAVO,well done PS I studied it 5 times and I will explore practice it,this is like having a set of wrenches in my toolbox, thanks again, looking forward to your next video.
What a great baseline to have in your bag ! I want to get on the table and use that method. Thanks Shavari !
Thsi video is amazing! Thank you! 🙏🏻 I have been playing for a long time and always did this by feel and never really understood how to use the diamonds or how to calculate how much english to use. You sir are an amazing teacher! 👍🏻
Your tutorials are awesome. I'm improving quite fast with all you've been talking here and in the other videos). Everything is easy and understandable.
I cannot understand side spin yet but I'm improved a lot. I'm really new playing pool, just 3-4 months
Thanks for this Sharivari! I am definitely going to use this in the future. I really like the idea of top and bottom english to lessen or strengthen the angle of reflection. I can see the usefulness of the tips and diamond system, but that will take a lot more getting used to. But that was great you introduced that helpful drill. This video will be a useful reference to fully digest and incorporate everything presented.
Been playing for pool for quite some time now, and just came across your channel. I may know the general idea on the tips, but the clarification and visuals makes it easier for me to understand. Thanks for the videos, and I like the visuals!
Thank you sooooo much for that instruction, it really helped me understanding angles. I agree with those before me. If there was an award for best online pool teacher it would be you in my humble opinion. I will be looking forward to all videos you make from here on. And my prayers of grace and protection are directed in your path. Love ya brother
The explanations are a great help in understanding the why the shots react as they do. I am anxious to try the lessons.
I've always just guessed on how to use a rail but now I'll make a more accurate shot and impress myself each time I make a shot. Thanks for your help!
Your production quality is going through the roof; and you always show the correct way to do something as well as some of the issues that you might face when initially trying to execute a particular shot; plus the adjustment you need to make. Thanks from all the pool players who need these excellent tutorials. Keep them coming

Another great video that i WILL inform my team mates and friends that have difficulty in these type of shots.Thank you Mr.Sharivari
Wow! It makes perfect sense. Thank you for the straightforward explanation.
Simple enough to both understand and remember at the table. Thanks for the tips.
Thanks dude, really well explained and easy to understand!!!
Good stuff sir. I have been experimenting for years with rails and kicks and this was a very beneficial video that answered a couple of my problems. Thank you.
Been watching this channel for some time now. I didn't think it possible but the quality of each video seems to get better with each one. Nice work, Sharivari
Based on geographical issues I doubt it would ever be possible, but someday if you make it to the western side of the U.S., would love to schedule some instructional time with you. Cheers
So clear and methodical! Thank you. You should write a book with different chapters to explain/understand the whole thing...
I really like this video. I am a terrible position player and often find myself needing to do a rail kick shot to get myself out of a bad positon.. This should help me to be successful in making rail shots. Thanks Sharivari!
Awesome tutorial. Definitely gonna use the practice drills more frequent
thanks for these pointers! i always used banks but some of your pointers i never used...now i have addtl strategies to use...thanks very much!
Excellent video with easy to understand explanations of how the system works and how to use it.
I love your explanation and visuals, finally understand the variables
NOT KIDDING! The shot at the end of the video was awsome flexing!! out of world maaan!!!
Damn. I actually gonna have to test this now. This can potentially make a very big difference for my game.
Great content
Very modest. A true professional
Your passion for the sport is reflected in the quality of your content
Thank you for an excellent presentation. This one is staying in the favorites!
If you could only watch 1 video on pool this would be my go to, so much detailed information that the “legends” at my local pool hall have been learning for the past 30 40 years and had to learn it the hard way
These are pretty common pool principles, but man your graphics and illustrations are top notch. Kudos for your work. These videos will be invaluable to be players!
Ty for making this video. It’s very informative and plan on using that practice drill to improve my game.
Wow. This was one of your best, at least for me. Wonderful to watch. Thanks
Really great pool videos for all kinds of various pool situations. I have watched many of them and I think they have helped my game.
I have to watch or rewind many times as I have a hard time understanding your accent, but rewinding and re-watching is not a bad idea anyway.
I have subscribed to your channel and clicked liked on the ones I have watched! Keep up the good work!
Great tips! Can't wait to give them a try. Thanks
Best video ever on the rail shot calculation, good explanation with demo shots.
So good Sir Sharivari! Perfect! from Iligan City Philipppines. GOD BLess.
Great that it all worked in 1 take. Proves that it works well.
You’re awesome Shariv! Thanks again!
Your lessons are all 1st rate. I just subscribed. Thank you.
Nice info, i always just guessed when doing this. Thanks.
The way you explain shooting from different positions but use the same terms = 👌
Personally I'd like to see from a camera behind/above so I really see your line. Keep it up!
Quite the quality content you got going here. Hope to see more of such videos.
Happy 100K, you're almost there!
Great lessons. Thanks a lot, bro!
Yet another excellent lesson. Thank you so much and keep up the good work. :)
I really enjoy your channel. The funny thing is, some of your lessons are giving away little secrets I've known for years just through practice/trial and error on my own table in my basement. Sometimes I will pull off a shot I know I have a really good chance of making only to see the bewilderment in my friend/bar opponent's face. I think I used the "I got lucky" saying before Efren Reyes did. I started learning this back in the early nineties when I met a guy at a bar who could put more English on the cue than anyone I have ever met, even to this day. This guy was nothing short of amazing. He never drank, never bet, but almost always won. For hours. He had a poker face too but I used to watch where he was hitting the cue ball and that's when he started teaching me some of his knowledge. Your lessons are fantastic. I cannot believe that stuff I've learned by watching you, and others on here. Some things I should have known along time ago but never really gave much thought to because what little I do know has always been enough to win more than lose.
In a very simple vid uou have unlocked something that was a mystery to me. I now understand. My mates won't know what hit them! Many thanks.
I love watching these and trying it out in my matches
I agree with the end very much. Many casual players play on well used tables where the felt and rails are significantly worn and will affect the english and angles. Often times, a regular user of a worn table will have an advantage being accustomed to that specific table's behavior.
Excellent analysis, and great photographic work. Thanks for you help (I need it).
One of my favorite videos. Thank you very much.
You’re pretty much a genius!!!
Pheew! I needed this. thanks man!
Sharivari, your videos are top class, and you are excellent coach with exceptional communication skills. Excellent work and all the best. Come to next Zagreb Open :).
The best lessons. Just started APA again after Covid.
This video is so so good at explaining. Incredible job.
Great job with the video, the explanation and the sequence
Thankyou sir. A very well produced video in its own right. Informative and a great demonstration of skill
You're videos are awesome. Thanks so much!
EXELENTE VÍDEO , PROFESOR SCHARIVARI GRACIAS POR ENSEÑAR MUY BIEN.SALUDOS DESDE COLOMBIA 💪💪💪🇻🇪🇻🇪🇻🇪
When you realize that everything involves math. 🤣
🤣👊
i got F on school i should quit playing snooker
😹😹😹😹😹😹I also quit in playing pool table
When u realize that this guy so dumb he says this is math when it's physics.
@@FootballtasticHQ 🤔. Physics uses Math. Math is fundamental to everything. He's calculating angles....which is Math. So just go away please if you have nothing nice say.
I never knew this. Thanks for sharing!
This channel is invaluable. 👏👏👏
Thank you. I've been waiting for a video like this! My bank shots suck.
I guess multiple Mai Tai's at the same time doesn't help. 🍸🍹
Great explanation!! Well worth my undivided time.
Wry informative. Thanks for the tutorial!
Well detailed video had no idea on some of these points
Great video maestro! Keep them coming
best pool lesson in youtube keep up the good work
I watch a ton of people on you tube. This was the greatest simplification of bank shots I have seen bar none. Thanks for the video.
Glad I could help.
Great videos, I've been learning quite a bit!
Thank you for this video.. I lern how to use the correct spin... Hope more videos tutorial from you..
I am 76 female started play pool after I retired, your video is the BEST I subscribed to learn more. Good health to you and yours.
Great information! Now to just remember it when I need to use it! ;-) LOL Thanks for another great lesson!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I'm a beginner and I want to know how to progress properly.
This is pure gold!

I am an absolut beginner, and I`m enjoying to understand, why I`m doing, what I`m doing. You help me a lot, thanks
Loved! Thank you. You are excellent.
Execelent vídeo!!! I can't wait to see the second part with balls at random points (not necessarilly at diamonds intersecctions) Sorry for my English. Saludos desde Perú!!!
I played pool for a good 6 years when I was a teenager but I never learned this stuff! I was really good and could cut like a pro, and I had pretty good mastery of English, but I was always horrible at bank shots. I am going to go back to the pool hall after 20 years and see if I can still shoot like I used to and maybe better with this! Thanks for the solid lesson!!!
I SO needed this video, thanks
Great class!
my favorite channel for online bida!!!
My son (33) and I were very well match... until he became friends with a Canadian 9-Ball champ. Some lessons ensued, and of course, he's starting to pull away on me. 😎 I'm so pumped that he's having a blast at pool and getting better than me [that's what Dad's do] but I am also doing my utmost to at least hang in there. I don't have a table but your videos are SO WELL DONE, and the explanations so clear, that I continue to surprise him by making challenging shots with decent positioning. Thanks for all the work you put into producing these videos. Always great info. 🙏
That's amazing! I can totally relate. Since I've started playing pool, my goal was always to finally beat my Dad. It took many years. We still play once a week till this day. Thanks for your kind comment :)
@@Sharivari Thanks for your thoughtful reply and personal story. I can’t even imagine how many comments come your way every day so I really appreciate the time you took to respond. I shared our exchange with my son and it was a wonderful surprise for him because unbeknownst to me, Ryan also follows you and considers you THE best online coach out there. I agree. Wishing you a Merry Christmas with family and friends and continued success in the New Year and beyond.
I have been playing for 35 years and have never Is been able to use a formula that quantifies so perfectly as this system thank you From an old pool player player
Awesome as always
Very nice demonstration and summarization
No comment about your tips i like it very much. Thanks to the tips.
The tip system works well when needed on a good table that banks correctly. Our local bar table has every problem imaginable and you're lucky to get a standard kick or bank in half the time!! I don't use high/low on the cue ball, just a touch of inside/outside english. Seems to work for me.
Great video. Thanks!
I was used to this shots. But i can't teach my friend This lesson. With your video i get the point. Even i m sending him this video so he can better learn from U sir. Lots of love from uae
Very ,very helpful!
