Oh hi there! Well I confess I mostly watch the list and highlight videos but yes! I love their content - just nicely in the middle of scripting and organic just giggles as real people :)
I'm sure you could do a series called Mike Doesn't React. And as it features no reactions, you would avoid any licencing fees from nefarious CZcams channels.
"It forms Book Voltron." After Lion Voltron and Vehicle Voltron, Book Voltron failed to excite people and had to get a job in a horror game instead. '80s Japanese Recession Unemployment, that's truly scary.
This is the only acceptable way for me to view horror, having the jumps telegraphed and a nice discussion to get me prepared.
I wish there were more psychological horror style games that are more slow-burn/creepy than just jump scares. I don't find jump scares horrifying, just startling, and it's just not the same feeling as that sense of dread, horror and general unease that comes from well-crafted horror.
Andrew Wowk I remember several years ago now Pewdiepie actually did a horror VR game. No monsters or jump scares but was all creepy environment and sounds and it was genuinely scary. That's true horror and that's how you do it right
I've played Alien Isolation, Metro and Dead Space and completely agree with you. Those are excellent examples of what I was talking about and what I wish there was more of.
Not yet to play Kholat or Layers of Fear, but I really want to.

Andy's fear singing is one of my favorite things. It makes any tense situation 1000 times better.
7:12 as someone who has wild pheasants on their farm, I have to say they are the MOST scary bird, they are the king of jump scares. You'll see a patch of grass rustle, and then go completely still, (This is them crouching down and hiding) and when you get real close, they suddenly fly up in front of your face, making a horrible loud noise. Worse thing is, is that they sometimes come in twos, so you think you're safe after the first one, and then you take a few steps, and the next one flies up at you D:

From what I understand about Ellen from "Games That Scared Us So Badly We Had To Stop Playing Them" (I'm probably remembering that title wrong/too long) Ellen just parked poor Amanda Ripley in a completely black room on standby mode forever waiting for her to come back. So maybe not fear singing level, but yelping at stuff and jumping for sure. And a lot of "oh, no no no no no no… but… but Luke… nooooo." Not wanting to open a door into whatever horrors lie beyond.

I want a horror game where you basically are in a party of emotionless terminators that never get rattled and they mock your feeble human fear response while calmly blasting horrific monsters that you can do nothing about.

With Jane constantly trying to take over the world, I think you sort of have to be ready for horror at any second.
The pheasant is actually a scary bird, once when I was 10, one attacked me. That lead to my fear of large birds.
I'm looking forward to see something like this when a good VR horror game comes out...
