Last suprise. Jesus christ i never saw it coming
For me the theme of sonic colors is like that, I can still hum the beginning of it after not hearing it for over 5 years now
Edit: I looked it up it’s called reach for the stars
Sky Babylon from Sonic Rush Adventure. Hauted Sip from the same game is also a shout
The music box from FNAF 2 is permanently in my head and I really hate it that much, but it's worse Because it's continuously playing
Clownpiece's theme: pierrot of the star spangled banner. The song is catchy enough already add her hellish bullet pattern to the mix and the song will forever stuck in your head as a song of true terror
Once I was at a Renaissance fair and I heard the Tetris A Theme being played on a flute in the distance, so I whispered aloud, “Is that the Tetris theme?” And three separate people near me went THAT’S WHAT THAT IS
It's actually called Korobeiniki, it's an old Russian folk song
Don't Diss, the tetris theme is the best
These are honestly my favorite kinds of lists, when the crew sits down, and goes in-depth on their own experiences.
Right? It's almost like they are just great people to watch hang out and goof arround :P
YES!!!
Right? God I love these guys.
EXACTLY!!
Totally agree, I love the way everyone chimes in with witty remarks and laughter in the background.
Luke’s wide-eyed head-moving face when he’s singing the Phoenix Wright music is classic. 4:50
Reminds me of a bird when it gets really excited
He makes that face and then proceeds to say “it’s just a bit much” as if he didn’t just make the most over the top face.
Thanks to Jane I can now never unhear "Tetris Song" as the lyrics
There are actual lyrics set to the Tetris music. Check it out, should help you remove "Tetris Song" from your mind.
Same
When I first watched this video, I actually misheard Jane and thought she was saying that those were real lyrics in the song. I even told my mom about it like it was a fun fact! I believed it wholeheartedly until the day I watched the video again and realized it wasn’t real the entire time. 😭
Fortunately back when I was at uni a friend showed me 'Complete History of the Soviet Union, Arranged to the Melody of Tetris' so whenever I play Tetris I'm singing
I am the man who arranges the blocks that descend upon me from up above
They come down and I spin them around till they fit in the ground like hand in glove...
This does not aid my Tetris skills at all.
C side was what I thought was original
Is Jane Tsundere with the Tetris song?
Jane: "I hate this song!"
People: "What if we changed it?"
Jane: "No! Don't harm my precious boy!"
Kisara Maiden With Eyes Of Blue I did like the type c though.
"What is this bullshit?"
I always preferred the C64 SID tune that accompanied the C64 Tetris Version from 1988 because it's just the opposite of the dreadful Gameboy tune. It isn't annoying, you hear that a lot of thoughts went into it, it even uses some programming trickery since the C64 didn't support sample playback and it's much, much longer.

If you paid attention in school instead of squandering your time on weebing out, you'd know what ambivalence is. If you insist on Japanese, 両面価値 (ryoumenkachi) is probably more appropriate 😛
“It’s not like I like it or anything!”
As they lower Jane into the grave, they have to rotate the coffin to fit properly
I love the image of all the coffins in her row then disappearing
@@kateschmid2889 But not the whole coffin, just the part in her row.

Fun fact: when Jane said that "C-Type" sounds like a harpsichord, she's not wrong; it's actually an excerpt from the French Suite in B minor by J. S. Bach, and was originally written for harpsichord.
The owl music perfectly captures its feeling. Like the hyrule field music is like:”hey wanna explore? Look at all the cool places we have! This giant castle! That volcano!” And then the owl music says: “now you can’t explore because I’m boring you to death yes you have to finish all of my dialogue. Oops! You now have to listen to it again I guess”
The human brain: *exists*
Tetris A theme: “It’s free real estate.”

I love it so much I have it as an alarm on my phone and I'll listen to the 10hour video on CZcams while I work.
You crazy bastard kevin 🤣
@@eliottdewitt893 I do the same thing with the FF 7 gold saucer. Even posted that already.
When I hear the Tetris theme, the only thing I can think of is a YT vid called The History of the Soviet Union set to the Theme of Tetris. It's pretty self-explanatory but hilarious nonetheless.
I'm here for Andy's dying cat, Luke's headbobbing, Mike's tormented face, Ellen's drunk singing and Jane's movements.
Probably seen this video more times than I should 😂
I come here to try to remove annoying songs out of my head. I have currently had Deadly Premonition's Whistle Theme in my head for FOUR DAYS.

As Janes' coffin is lowered to the sound of the Tetris theme, the sound effect plays as the ground disappears and the mourners are dropped into the void.

SAME. Along with a few other video game songs. Lol
The face Luke made when singing the Swabuckler's song was terrifying XD
Like he's staring into your soul.

THANK YOU. The second "Legend of Zelda" came up on the list, the damn owl is EXACTLY what I expected. I was just waiting for the interface screw to come up too. You think you're almost done, finally he's gonna shut up and--"Did you get all of that? - NO" First time I played, I must have looped it four times out of sheer button-mashing. Infuriating.
i found the song on spotify and i am currently listening to it on a loop (tenth time round today) purely for my own enjoyment.
You only have to hear the music like... 3 times, I think? Last time I think is before you head to the Castle with the stones. His theme isn't actually as annoying to me as Zora's Domain is.
It's videos like this that let us know that these guys aren't just colleagues: they're friends ^_^

What about Resetti’s theme from Animal Crossing? I remember having to hear that SO many times as a kid because I had to share my copy of Animal Crossing Wild World with my little brother who pretty much never saved the game before turning it off, and once he’d done it enough times to render his own character unplayable, he started using mine, and did the same thing. Eventually my mom got rid of the game and it took years before she let us get it again (this time we got two copies)
I feel bad for you
Uh, Resetti kills you if you reset too often?
@@weneedaladder8384 no, but it seems like the lectures get longer and longer the more times you do it, and seems to be no maximum cap for how long it can get. Especially when you take into account that this was back when my brother was just learning to read, so every time Resetti told him to type something, he’d fail at it repeatedly (I also remember failing it myself several times, though I don’t remember if I ever figured out why, maybe I used the wrong punctuation, or maybe it was just broken from my brother failing it so many times)
I surprised that the Phoenix Wright pick for this wasn't the Blue Badger theme. A good friend of mine has that song permanently tattooed on their soul because they kept mis-clicking the one pixel big solution to the puzzle on the screen that loops it.
I know this comment is four months old now but you have awoken the buried memory in me of that a**hole of a puzzle, that made me want to set something on fire. I tried to repress this.
@@jayk6447 You're welcome :)
At least the pirate song is jolly and fun. Blue badger theme is definitely insanity inducing
My pick for Phoenix Wright is the circus theme from Turnabout Big Top.
Ellen: "I am an adult woman, a NORMAL adult woman."
Ya sure... were onto you ELLEN
*if that is your real name*
Shes also GORGEOUS.
We get it, you're all NORMAL adults, who do NORMAL things in perfectly NORMAL ways. And spend a NORMAL, healthy amount of time reading your CZcams comments.
She is always so... happy. I wonder what she is like drunk.
That's something a synth would say...
when they lower Jane's coffin into the ground the entire cemetery will disappear. That's Tetris!
In the aftermath, four rows of bodies get sent the morgue.
I assume they would separate the parts and hide them away in the four farthest corners of the world to keeps us all safe.
@@BogeyTheBear They wouldn't dare in case space folds in on itself to reunite the pieces and the planet is crushed within.
Pokemon all bycicle themes
omg, there needs to be a newgrounds style game that's tetris, but it's a morgue or something and the pieces are bodies, in the art style of manual samuel.
The most infuriating part about the Kaepora Gaebora song is that whenever you hear it, you’re already rolling your eyes because it means you’re talking to the owl.
Tetris is one of my absolute favorite themes! The "Skellige" theme from The Witcher 3 and one of the regional themes in FFXV are my others
Wanderlust or Valse di Fantastica?
Andy: "a rapping dog is unrealistic"
Me: "the most unrealistic part of this video is that Ellen managed to get through the first owl conversation after only two loops" *begin Vietnam flashbacks of frustration and seeing that same conversation 8 times in a row*
Dan Schreimann I was lucky, I knew before hand and stopped repeatedly pressing continue near the end. And made it out alive
if you played it on an emulator sped-up, you could probably get through a lot more loops without noticing.
i replied while there was a stack of likes
This is because you people do not read. I read the dialogue and knew when to tell him to shut up. Never knew there was even an issue till decades later when I saw all the internet complaints.

i gifted a friend of mine a tetris alarmclock for his birthday and now he wakes up to this song every morning...poor guy
That sounds like the most hellish existence on earth, why would you forsake your own friend to that fate you monster?!
How is the Tetris theme annoying? I hum it all the time and it never leaves coz I like it
Never ever ever set a song you like as your alarm or ringtone, The Song of Storms and I are still healing 😔...
One time i played Song of Storms like 20 times in my headphones or something, then it started raining outside
A buddy of mine thinks all the tetris music consistently playing on loop is so annoying to the point I installed the tetris theme song as a car horn in GTA V.
I will never hear the A theme without "Tetris Song" again. Thank you for that.
I do hope they are going to do these kinds of lists again, where they have a conversation about the subject with each other.
"phoenix right has to defend a killer whale in a case of murder" -

And the answer for all those questions is Japan.
I feel like if you haven’t played a Phoenix Wright, you have several questions, but if you have played it your reaction is- I don’t understand your confusion
Welcome to Ace Attorney!!!! We have fun.
When they were singing the kaepora gaebora theme, they actually did sound like a crowd of drunkards.
.......does the song make you drunk....?

Thash grabe barfkeeff anuver rounff
Ajani Reid the game knows that Gaepora is boring so it’s supposed to bore you to sleep.
Theres a pause or a ritardando that does not fit in with looped music
Slightly 😭
The weirdest game music stuck in my head are probably:
1. Final Nitro from Top Gear (SNES) - even done in an amazing (ocremix) remix with genuine race sounds added. That's the kind of music racing games need. Upbeat, fast paced electronic 16-bit Nintendo sounds.
2. Fire Emblem (the main music which stretches over the whole series) - i even went overboard with this one: Played it on a flute, written down the melody in musical notes and then converted it manually into an RTTTL ringtone for a phone at my desk at work.
3. Fire Emblem Three Houses Main Title in English (Reach for my hand, i'll soar away...) or Japanese (which i don't even understand) - the song with lyrics that make less sense that a Magikarp does damage with splash.
I even listened to them on my way to work and back - one at a time on infinite loop for the whole hour of driving. Never stray from your path, psychopath.
I love the fact that the entire team joined Ellen when she was singing her song choice
So the Tetris effect now includes hearing the lyrics “Tetris song” every time I hear the music
Actually, for me it always did.
You should look up Tetris with lyrics by Brentalfloss
Look up "Complete History of the Soviet Union, Arranged to the Melody of Tetris" here on CZcams.
@@Chepakishui Oh no. now i have more lyrics in my head
"An aggressive, threathening song with shrill cat sounds"
Are there any other kind of cat sounds?
This video has conditioned me well. I started watching and immediately had the desire to play Tetris. And then Jane’s choice came up and it all made sense
Andy had me genuinely crying from laughing at the dying cat impersonation 😂 the amount of times I've came here to see this video
21:32 When Andy chimed in with the four-line clear sound, I just lost it. Priceless.
"Hi we're the OXboxtra team and we just wanted to get all these earworms in your head simultaneously. Enjoy the rest of your day!"
... I still love them though...
Good thing I can usually only have one of those going at a time, though odd mashups have happened before.
IT'S A TRAP! DON'T START PLAYING THE VIDEO.... Gha, too late...
I love hearing luke go on and on about why he just absolutely hates something, it’s so entertaining
Out of context Luke bopping to the swashbuckler song is a Gif I need to have.
I haven't seen Ellen this irritated since she went "Full London" when Luke offered her Pepsi.
When was that?
Last week, with the 7 things you're bound to do in an RPG.
@@BogeyTheBear thanks
Whut?
After watching this, not only have I had the Tetris theme stuck in my head but somehow I have managed to infect the entire office with the earworm.
The Tetris theme slaps
And yet, aside from the original game, my first association with the Tetris music is actually relatively new: a brief scene from TeamFourStar’s DBZ Abridged, The Dead Zone Movie. It’s short but hilarious, about 14 minutes in. Trust me.
Whoa. Jane and I created the same lyrics for the Tetris song.
The Dr. Mario music isn't nearly as good as Tetris, but if I hear it once, it'll stay in my head for months.
You know, at first I just enjoyed the video for what it was. A few viewings later, and I finally make out what Andy yelled while Ellen was talking about the Kaepora Gaebora theme.
... I miss playing Encarta Mind Maze. Maybe I still have the disks.
Am I the only one hoping that Johnny is taking notes on how to torture the Oxventures?
4:51 That's somehow both hilarious and horrifying.
Varun Chaturvedi immediately regretted pausing...

Sincerely hope we get a sequel to this some day, I rewatch it like at least once or twice a month!!
Animal Village tune isn't in a minor key, it's a very major tonality. It is s so unwaveringly happy, that it gives the whole thing an unsettling tone.
"That's a weak B-side" is a phrase forever etched in my memory when talking about Tetris tracks.
The Silent Hill 2 UFO ending (Dog Ending), with the barking song. I get that stuck in my head a lot. Now, in fact, since I mentioned it. Crap.
Good lord... I've never played the game but I've heard it and now it's stuck in my head!
Damn that song was terrible.
You know the song "The Mickey Mouse March"? Well, there are two instrumental versions of that song in the Kingdom Hearts series. The one in Kingdom Hearts 2 is alright. The one in Birth By Sleep is PURE TORTURE.
I thought the magikarp song sounded nearly Identical to "the Mickey Mouse March"
What finny fun!
I was looking for this comment!
If a CERTAIN shop theme in Twilight Princess doesn't make this list... Oh, wait, he is going for music that just gets stuck in our heads, not music that makes us ponder breaking the game disk.
The worst part of the Tetris song is that being Russian I KNOW THE ACTUAL LYRICS...))
I love Russian music. The Tetris 99 theme reminded me of some of the weird music from the Soviet Union in the 80s and 90s.
What are they
On this case if you know then get lost
that must be horrible..
and sometimes funny...
I personally only have it stuck in my head when neatly arranging things, luggage in a car for example, and in the first two loops it actually helps me focus... afterwards it drives me mad...
TELL ME
we all know the real music that gets stuck in our heads is the piano riffs they play in all their videos
I love the Golden Saucer tune so much!!!
Also, was shocked to see Magicarp Jump on this list. I completely forgot it existed!
Skyward Sword Skyloft Theme. Don’t get me wrong, I love it, but it just loops and loops and loops and loops and loops....
i hate that i read this and my brain immediately
BUH NE DEEEEH, DEHNEHNEH, DENENEEEE NE NE NE NE NE NEEEEE, BABA BAAA BUP BUMM, BABA BAAA BEP BAA, DO DO DOOOOOO
and that you'll read this, and hear it if you know it
When I heard "catchy game songs" my mind went straight for: 🎵🎶 *This was a triumph, I'm making a note here: huge success...* 🎶
Glados! :D
But that song isn’t annoying, though
Fuccccccckkkkkk it's in my brain AAAAAAAAAAAA *runs head first into a wall*
Not annoying but literally every time I see anything about aperture or hear the word aperture or see an aperture lense, I immediately respond with "Aperture Science, we'll do what we must because we can" and then that part just goes into repeat in my head and I just sigh. Fortunately I don't see that word too much so I don't often go there. But I still went to that part when I read those words.
Back in the day, I listened to that one literally over a thousand times. Mind you, I did have to rip it out of the game first in order to do so, but most of my listening material for a couple of weeks after finishing Portal was Still Alive again and again.
"How could they put anything Final Fantasy in this list?"
Sees Gold Saucer
"Oh..."
Tan tannan tannananannanan tan tann nanna
It's worse now, because whenever I hear it, I hear Yuffie from the Abridged singing it.
I hear it everyday in Final Fantasy XIV Online. I kind of got used to it. Perhaps that will change now...
@@FelloniusWizard Honestly there's 2 songs in FF14 that I'll never get out of my head, one is the Golden Saucer music and the second is the Chocobo Theme.
@@FelloniusWizard That's the worst thing about it. It escaped to infect other _Final Fantasy_ games.
@@SampoPaalanen Both are "Hits". :-D
I love to use the Gold Saucer theme for Vegas-y locations or faires in rpg sessions. It puts the players into a fittingly sceptic/passive-aggressive mood.
Magicarp jump theme tune is eternaly in my head now
I made the mistake of making the Tetris theme my ringtone, because I loved the tune so much. And it was fine at the start. But if you're an introvert like me, eventually what happensI is you begin to associate the tune with the feeling of stress you get when someone calls you. Now whenever I hear the Tetris theme, I feel uncomfortable, as if I know I have to talk to someone when I don't want to.
This happens with all my ringtones as well
I’m an introvert as well. You‘be made we realize why I now dislike some of my favorite songs!
Jane is like The Master but instead of the drum of the universe in her head it's the Tetris A theme.
wow, I just have a scene in my head now of Jane all up in David Tennant's face going da da da da da TETRIS SONG! ahaha amazing
of all the places I thought I would see a Doctor Who referrence this isnt one of them. XD
The doom theme is definitely one of those songs because it's just so aggressive and as soon as you hear the first note, you know what's about to go down
I really hope there is a commenter edition because the Bubble Bobble music has haunted me for my entire life. So haunting in fact that it got an aptly abbreviated song "AFS" by Mad Hatter.
I had just shoved that memory deep down where it couldn't bother me anymore and you unburied it with a single comment. Thanks. We suffer together. 🥲
18:55 "I am the man who arranges the blocks..."
That continue to fall from up above

For some reason Luke slowly losing his mind over the Swashbuckler Spectacular song is giving me life right now.
honestly love this one, even though ive listened to it thousands of times. my contender would be the town song from majoras mask, super irritating.
I don't really listen to video game music because my parents always wanted it quiet but I always remember this song from one of the old skateboarding games that everytime it played I had to leave the room because it was just so perfectly the opposite of my wavelength and just shook me to the core.
You're crazy! The golden saucer music fits so perfect and I loved every second of it. In fact when I arrived to the golden saucer in FF14 and they had the same music I was elated.
That version (FF14's) does that song justice because it's actually using an orchestra, since as I pointed in out in my reply to myself, how the PS handled music did that theme dirty.

I flippin love the gold saucer music. It’s so perfect! It’s chaotic, happy, over the top, and busy just like being in a county fair. I could loop it for forever without getting bored.

The animal village theme, I lost it when he first started talking about 😂😹
Kaepora Goebora’s theme always made me feel as if the owl was judging me, like I was a stupid boy who doth dare save Hyrule..
True. And it makes me think of Harry Potter strangely on the theme idk y.
To this day when I'm sitting and thinking about something that music still floats into my head
"We be pirates, we love to sail the seven seas. Just a bunch of scallywags who are free as free can be. We swim through storms and waves, all because you can see, grand treasures and adventures waiting just for me. Yeah"!
We had to memorize and play the tetris theme for a pep band event and I have to say the fact that it doesn't have a "real" ending still bothers me while it plays on repeat everyday of my life 😂
"This is the song that never ends.
It goes on and on my friends.
People, started singing it not knowing what it was
and they'll continue singing it forever just because-
This is the song that never ends..."

The whistle theme from Deadly Premonition is sooooooo this. It's so annoyingly catchy even my parents have picked it up, and they've barely even seen the game!
Ya Bruce from Funhaus made it tolerable.
By the way: did you know there's a K.K. Slider cover version?

Why is it always so that games with great music always have one "black sheep"?
Oh god yes, this. My wife and I will randomly start whistling that song around the house just to get on the other one's nerves.
I never played it but i watched eurogamer play it in a lttp ep over 2 years ago and its still stuck in my head
Hilariously, the orchestral version of Kaepora's theme is far nicer. It almost sounds like an elf household with an elderly elf couple.

FF7’s Chocobo theme. I just randomly start humming it OVER and OVER AGAIN whenever I’m doing something.
Why specifically 7's? It's the same song just with different pacing and extra instruments as the numbers go up
Cinco de Chocobo? Personally, I like it. It's the chocobo theme ala 'Take Five' by Dave Brubeck. I kinda got annoyed with it too til I listened to the song it's riffing off of. Check it out
@@Grt31pmkin It's not that I don't like it...but when that's the song I ALWAYS hum (even though I haven't played the game or heard the song in years)..... xD
I see your ~standard~ Chocobo theme raise you Final Fantasy XIII-2's "Crazy Chocobo". It's *absolutely awful*, and yet...
EVERYONE'S GONNA WANT TO

Brass De Chocobo in FFX.. that got stuck in my head forever after trying to get the Sun Sigil
Jane got the Tetris lyrics wrong. I thought everyone knew they went "I am the man who arranges the blocks/that descend upon me from up above/They come down and I spin them around/'til they fit in the ground like hand in glove"
Nah, I like Brentalfloss's version better:
"Four colored blocks in the shape of a T or a box come down like falling bricks.
"You can place them in rows, but everybody knows that they made this game for chicks."
I read that in the sound of Alice in chains " man in the box"
I remember that video!
Well now I have to memorize this. I have oxbox homework.
You b-
I READ THAT WITH THE FLIPPIN TUNE!
12:19 wow, that is... Genuinely irritating. I'm trying out for drum major and seeing that is just like "nooooooo why would you do that"
