Yes! This is awesome, TJ. I'm a recent convert to Barrell Spirits the last few months and so far I've loved pretty much everything I've tried from Barrell. In fact, I just finished a Total Wine pick last night that was delicious. I'm all in, about to go place my order now if there are any left. Might want to make an edit about the allocated bottle situation at Buffalo Trace. They no longer let people with tours jump the line because people were booking tours and then not showing up for the tours just be able to buy the allocated bottle.

I had that same tour guide at Buffalo Trace last year ! He was awesome! I love that the tours are free and we got there early to get in line and they had Eagle Rare that day. I’ve been trying to find a Blantons ever since. That was almost a year ago 😂
I had a 1979 Lincoln Continental Mark 4 that was a gas guzzler like that. I loved the car but eventually had to let it go.
Our crew was at BT there in KY just this last summer. We were lucky enough to do our tasting on a morning they had e.h. Taylor so we got that for 40-something out the door. I really want to do a barrel pick with our crew but I'm uneducated about how the process works so I appreciate the detail you shared in this video. Very cool T.J., cheers

I live in Louisville and I started learning about bourbon about a month ago didn’t know that Louisville was a great location for bourbons

This leaves me to believe that they have batch 35 waiting for the shelves along with the newer batch of Seagrass.
Batch 035 is available at total wine and spirits for $79 near me

Exit 2 liquors my go to liquor store I’m from Franklin KY. The Mexican restaurant right off the interstate there is really good if you ever come passing through again
Id check the oil sending unit to see if its leaking. If its dropping oil pressure its a safe bet to say the esu has gone bad

My old car also burns oil and I use hyperlube which is basically the same thing as lucas oil.
The new hampshire state liquor store has there own store picks from these guys.

Can't wait to head to Kentucky later this year and do some bourbon hunting. I'm gonna guess you can find some great inventories in the small town shops. Hell, just seeing a big 1792 small batch bottle would be exciting to me... or a 1792 Fullproof near msrp. Picked up my first bottle this week and its my favorite budget bourbon - smashes Buffalo Trace for a couple bucks more. I do really enjoy WT 101 as a budget bourbon but 1792 is an excellent background bourbon where WT is a bit more aggressive with the spice.

Very fortuitous timing. I am heading to Frankfort tomorrow with some buddies for a 3 prong distillery visit and tastings.. first off is BT Friday morning. Bottle of the day and then a tour at 11am. Do you not have to wait in line for the bottle if you've got a tour booked? Do you recommend like an 8:00 a.m. arrival otherwise? Thanks and great video!

Peerless is the one that's off the side street where you feel like you might get mugged when you are walking up to it.
My son and I took a tour a couple of years ago. Chilly rainy day and we were the only ones there. They tapped a barrel in the warehouse for us to try. Been my favorite distillery ever since!
