Vault Dwellers & Vault-Tec Security | Fallout Wasteland Warfare Tutorial - Hry
War never changes, but your videos are always fresh and exciting. Love the attention to detail you always provide, especially your fantastic, themed look!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that!
That blue really pops, nice work.
Thank you! Cheers!
“War Never Changes”
This video is so awesome. Love the intro, the outro, & BTS parts mixed in. Awesome editing by CC @AlchemicalRabbit 👏🏻
Angela, you did such a great job on the figures. The colors really pop & look great. I was very impressed with the detail on the bases. How you painted each piece on them to make each one standout was awesome. You are so incredibly talented. Both you are
Great video by you guys. 👏🏻👏🏻💜⚔️💜⚔️
War never changes. Phenomenal job!
Great video love the paint job on the vault dwellers….. I really struggle to paint yellow, so from your recommendation I will be trying the fanatics yellow … thanks for sharing 👍🍻
What characters from Fallout New Vegas woul you like to see me paint next?
It looks like season 2 is taking place there, so I might as well get ahead of it!
The Burned man would be a fun one I think
I think it was be cool if there was an ED-E that you could paint.
Or even some of the animals or critters.
Ghouls too.
Ghouls, of course, and The Mysterious Stranger.
Ncr and legion!
There is only one character. The most important character. FISTO! lol
Love the intro and outro, CC did a great job on them!
I think so too! I was so excited when he showed it to me!
I really like the way the armor plates turned out plus using snakebite leather as a wash. I have some historical armored figures to work on and I will give it a try. Gotta pick up a set of the Fanatic paints too! Great job on the figs!
I really like the way it turned out too, it's definitely going to be my go-to for warm leathers going forward~
Shady sands live on!
"War never changes" Love the video Angela the minis look awesome. I really need to watch that show 💯❤️🔥. Love your Cosplay outfit 😍
Great work!
Thanks!
Those look great and this was another great tutorial!
Thanks so much!
@@HobbyNight You’re welcome!
Nice work on these, lovely shade of blue.
Sometimes when working with resin models, they can 'sweat' with mold release agent.
Washing and scrubbing can take the top layer off, exposing a slightly undercured layer beneath which will then leave the surface non-stick again.
Allowing them to dry fully overnight, wiping down with paper towel, then washing a second time whould help with this.
War never changes 😉
I definitely need to get me some of these!
They are so fun to work on!
War never changes
The redhead is Overseer McNamara. Nice enough woman. Unlike just about every other Overseer in game. She's not a prick, and doesn't demand you leave the vault after saving them. Lol. In order to access 81, you've got to deliver 3 Fusion cores to her. Well worth it, because inside 81 is where you get the combat shotgun The Overseers Guardian.
Is she actually a redhead in the game or did I get that wrong? Also super cool that they are based on in game characters. I was watching a video the other day (I can’t even remember the full topic or channel now) but I randomly had info about Vault 81 which was neat to see pop up since I had just finished them.
@@HobbyNightHer hair is slightly darker. But not by much. In character creation, you've got a few redish/brown options like a true ginger redhead, and a more auburn one. McNamara is closer to auburn. At this scale, o don't think you'd really be able to pick it tbh.
I think she could be the only in game model in this set. There are a couple of guards ( noteworthy because they're very opinionated everything as you walk past them. Lol ) But they're mostly generic like. As for the other mini. I can't say I've seen a match for him. Sad, since I was in the vault just last night. Ugh.
Very nice job with these!
Thanks a bunch!
Damn good looking Blue. Pip Boy Approved!
War never changes 🚀⏳️
War never changes... but we are lucky to have a Goddess like you ❤
the fallout franchised always interest im definitely need to properly get into it. as the the model they look really cool. I enjoyed watching how they turn out. looking forword the next fallout models your going to do.
Same here!
War, war never changes
I’m getting Wasteland Warfare models and the general advice seems to be that the release agent used on the earlier resin models is very hydrophobic.
I think WGNR mentions in their BoS paint video I watched before this that he did washed them multiple times and soaked them prior to priming. Hope this helps.
Btw more recent models are hard plastic which should help avoid this issue in the future. Such as the BoS T-45 Power Armor box and I think the Nuka World models.
Ah good to know!
loved the video, any plans to paint some of the other models/ type of models that come in the core box with the restock coming soon?
War never changes...
War. War never changes
Awesomeness Angela 💙💛
“War never changes” 😢
I use lighter fluid with stubborn sprues. Put some in a smal jar and rub it over the model with a brush a few times ( or bath it in IPA.. isotropic alcohol)
Then wash it under hot water a few seconds. Should be good after that .
War never changes. Fire vault dweller cosplay 🔥🔥 and love the way you describe everything you do.
Thank you!! 💜
Absolutely fantastic, ive been on a fallout painting binge myself.
Modifius will be makinh plastic core sets soon. The nuka World gang sets already are as well as the t45 sets, but the first main core sets are super mutants and raiders, then its settlers and BoS. They are also making mothman cultists, cryptids, and zetan aliens.
Also play fallout two then paint frank horrigan
Also as for how I base them, I wash them in a warm soapy water using a dedicated cheap tooth brush then rinse off in warm water and dry on a microfiber towel before i do a two thin coats (maybe more if needed but not necessary) of a hand base coat of Vallejo black which helps the paint stick.
There are green oil cans in fallout they're not seen all that often when looting
Just a little detail thing, both the badge and the two straps that connect the front and back panels of the torso armor of the Vault-Tec security armor appear to be darker than the rest of the armor and straps, make of that what you will.
Love the cosplay!
Thank you!
From what I remember from the games the Vault Guards do have Pipboys, so their absence is odd. Likely got done either to help differentiate them from the civilian vault dweller models or to simplify their design for their molds if I had to guess
Budget cuts... budget cuts never change.
Resin- You have to use a soft toothbrush and some Dawn soap to remove the release agent, and then give them an alcohol wash, after you rinse off the resin. That's to make sure all the release agent and crud comes off the resin minis.
(Took a page out of the 3d printers book for that.)
I've never done a resin model before. What does the alcohol do in the process. And is it an isopropyl alcohol?
@@PinkDevilFish It cleans out any water or soap, and it's there to clean the resin. Isopropyl is the kind, yes.
Resin models are touchy to work with, so handle with care. They break by almost just looking at them.
War never changes 🫡
War Never changes
I would rather an Enchanted blue over the Talisar blue. Don't know if GW puts that colour out in Contrast though. If you have the colour, compare it with your kit.
Hi Angela when painting resin mini's you need to give them small bath in lukewarm soapy water with a toothbrush so paint can stick better to the mini as resin mini's have a very thin layer of a release agent to remove them from the molds I hope this help with future works 😊
That’s what I did! But I still had issues ;_;
Isn't the female vault dweller the overseer from 81? Kinda reminds me of her.
War never changes, and what was that blue? Tallysar?
It’s Talassar Blue contrast paint!
In fact that 8:48 is Overseer of Vault 81 and he indeed has red hair in-game.
