I just watched your video with Kodi and listened to what you had to say about the problems with the reborn community. I had no idea there was such a thing. I had been buying Ashton Drake dolls when I still worked for a living but since retiring I was searching for other doll sites. AliExpress, Ebay and a couple others that came up. I saw beautiful, realistic baby dolls at very reasonable prices I could afford (social security doesn't allow much) and I bought several finished babies. After watching tutorials on assembling painted kits, so much more affordable, I bought several of them. When I watched videos of box openings, some of the people commented on how mean many of the loyal artist sculpts were because of these "copies". I felt horrible and can see both sides; the artists/sculptors are upset because of the lost income for their very hard work and the aspect of being able to afford a smaller version of these exquisite works of art made these dolls available to low income and seniors. Well, long story short, too late right?, I gave half of the dolls to single mothers who worked at a local fast food restaurant and the other half to seniors at the nursing home my son works for. The mothers were so grateful and one cried because her daughter wasn't getting much for Christmas. I wish you could have seen the sheer joy on the faces of the senior ladies who accepted a doll and the tender cradling and kissing on each one. I had to cry myself. I have purchased two artist dolls thus far. One was a Pickle sculpt and the other is being delivered Monday. That's a Joseph sculpt. I'm going to make do with these two because I can't justify or afford the expense of more dolls. These are emotional purchases for me but I won't make this any longer. Unfortunately a small group of awful people completely ruined the joy and sucked the life out of the reborn community. I dont know them, i dont want to know them. They can stay in their toxic little corner they painted themselves into. The only thing they have accomplished is to push people away and pushed more and more people to want to buy replicas. They really got their message out; they just didnt get the results they actually wanted. They hurt their objective with their terrible behavior. Several of the artists and sculptors are also at fault for insighting such harmful behavior. They didnt help their cause either. They chose to attack consumers rather than those producing replicas. I have so many kits partially finished had to set them aside for my gardening addiction 🤪 I can’t afford other artists reborns. I have a few but realized I couldn’t keep dumping 500+ on a doll. I love the bigger dolls as well. I keep thinking I need to sell my Bonnie chyle collection and the smaller reborns.

I do that to only display my dolls I don't cuddle or play with them to much at least not when my sons home I don't want to make him feel bad. But you're baby is cute no matter if it's not an expensive reborn. My finances have changed to drastically and I can't afford those higher end baby's to and I hate it. Maybe things will change in the future just hoping.

Ironically, those bullies were the reason that I bought my first replica doll. They made me curious with all their nastiness so I had to see what was so bad about them. Now I buy the replicas just to spite the bullies! I have the funds to buy what I want when I want and I have some very high end dolls. But I won't support anyone who bullies others and that includes artists and sculptors. So if they want my money they better stop.

Little Wattle Nursery did a deep dive into the subject of replicas and how the artists are not hiring Chinese lawyers to copywrite their products in China and that some artists have actually sold the rights to copy their dolls and the consumer can not tell the difference. Bullying is disgusting and is never alright. If the atists are really concerned they can have their dolls manufactured in other countries like Spain or Germany.
I understand where you are coming from. It's a very difficult situation because I see both sides. The artists have a right to be upset about the knock offs since what goes into their work is a lot of time and they don't want "bad examples" of their work. A lot of the manufactured reborn-like doll makers have taken kit sculpts illegally and that cannot be ignored... HOWEVER... these dolls are very expensive and people want this experience to have a life like doll in their budget and they should be understood. There's no room for nastiness, or snobbery that comes from other shallow thought patterns. I say there should be a compromise. The manufacturers and online stores should call their dolls.. Reborn-like dolls with their own original sculpts so that everyone is happy. It's like... a painting is done by hand and cannot be replicated originally legally and sold so the online stores cannot take a print of a similar painting or that painting... And call it a painting, yet people should have the opportunity of having that image on their walls
On Tik Tok and Facebook, there are so many people reaching out to me to sell me dolls. On such site I did some research and they appear to be scammers. They tag me every day and once in a while I get a break. I am just looking for one or two people who love dolls to connect with. I will stick with my Paradise Galleries and replicas due to affordability. One day, I want to get a duplicate made of a lil guy who was in my home as a newborn and I really bonded to him. He is already 18 😮 but I imagine I will have to pay quite a bit for that so maybe one day? Maybe not. This is all insanely new to me. I had Brooklyn for 12 years and never connected with anyone.

I agree, I'd NOT pay 2 grand for ANY reborn, no matter how well it is made. The artist has a right to ask for a price but people don't have to pay it. I could afford it but I wouldn't, not for a reborn. Like in any market, if there is a cheaper offer there will be consumers. Is it right? Maybe yes, maybe no, but thats how it always will be. I do understand why some collectors/sculptors and artists are against replicas and thats their right also. Myself, I have all kinds of dolls and I collect for my own enjoyment and not anyone elses. It would be boring if all channels would feature the same dolls, lol. If someone doesn't like what I have and show they won't watch anyways and thats okay, too. Live and let live! If I had the budget for an expensive collection yes it’s worth it. With inflation and the financial state in most countries right now, it doesn’t make sense while raising a family to have my money invested in this way. Actually I thought that I was buying the little boy but come to find out it's a little girl and it's a total different doll than I thought that I was buying but it still is cute and I need a little girl to match Jesus so I think that I am going to keep the order.
The anger comes from the sculptors who take months to sculpt these by hand only for them to be stolen and sold so they no longer get paid for their hard work. I understand both sides. Some just cant afford authentic

I am so sorry to see this, I don't agree with the purchase of stolen kits or knock offs of any kind. Laura Tuzio Ross will never get a dime from the stolen kits along with Ping Lau who just had one of her brand-new toddler molds stolen. Just because your situation has changed does not mean you can't afford a reasonable priced doll instead of spending $2000 spend $300 you can find nice authentic reborns at reasonable prices. Put yourself in Laura or any of the other artist place and see if you feel the same. Think of the time and money they spent to create a kits only to have it stolen and replicated. I understand you may not agree and that is ok but I just had to say my peace and remove myself from your content. I may not have always commented but I loved your videos up to this point. To be clear I can buy expensive dolls if I choose but I will not prioritize investing that way when the artists don’t support their customers. I don’t like the stand the artists have taken after I was harassed and defamed for supporting a friend meanwhile I owned only authentic. If you didn’t know Kelly Maple with over 2M subs even participated and shared the screenshots of the collages made defaming me. I know the artists saw what was happening. I was loyal to the artists but then I saw how poorly people are being treated and how many artists enable and condone the harassment. I will be buying high end hand bags before I ever invest in a highly priced doll again because the service will match the price tag. Sadly that is not the case with the dolls. ❤

I will always love my authentic-collection but also: I probably will never be able to afford them like I used to. But yes times are tough everywhere now.. and i would still like to enjoy my doll hobby here and there... for the longest time i was againist owning a replica myself.. but then the reality of life sat in ... and its just not affordable anymore... so thats when i got my maggie from amazon over the summer...and i thought for under $50 she was pretty darn good enough for me. I just got a maddie too she was only $48 on a prime deal and i believe she still is now.. and i was really suprised as to how beautiful she really is in person. ❤ and Yes! I do that to only display my dolls I don't cuddle or play with them to much at least not when my sons home I don't want to make him feel bad. But you're baby is cute no matter if it's not an expensive reborn. My finances have changed to drastically and I can't afford those higher end baby's to and I hate it. Maybe things will change in the future just hoping.

Ironically, those bullies were the reason that I bought my first replica doll. They made me curious with all their nastiness so I had to see what was so bad about them. Now I buy the replicas just to spite the bullies! I have the funds to buy what I want when I want and I have some very high end dolls. But I won't support anyone who bullies others and that includes artists and sculptors. So if they want my money they better stop.

Little Wattle Nursery did a deep dive into the subject of replicas and how the artists are not hiring Chinese lawyers to copywrite their products in China and that some artists have actually sold the rights to copy their dolls and the consumer can not tell the difference. Bullying is disgusting and is never alright. If the atists are really concerned they can have their dolls manufactured in other countries like Spain or Germany.

I understand where you are coming from. It's a very difficult situation because I see both sides. The artists have a right to be upset about the knock offs since what goes into their work is a lot of time and they don't want "bad examples" of their work. A lot of the manufactured reborn-like doll makers have taken kit sculpts illegally and that cannot be ignored... HOWEVER... these dolls are very expensive and people want this experience to have a life like doll in their budget and they should be understood. There's no room for nastiness, or snobbery that comes from other shallow thought patterns. I say there should be a compromise. The manufacturers and online stores should call their dolls.. Reborn-like dolls with their own original sculpts so that everyone is happy. It's like... a painting is done by hand and cannot be replicated originally legally and sold so the online stores cannot take a print of a similar painting or that painting... And call it a painting, yet people should have the opportunity of having that image on their walls

On Tik Tok and Facebook, there are so many people reaching out to me to sell me dolls. On such site I did some research and they appear to be scammers. They tag me every day and once in a while I get a break. I am just looking for one or two people who love dolls to connect with. I will stick with my Paradise Galleries and replicas due to affordability. One day, I want to get a duplicate made of a lil guy who was in my home as a newborn and I really bonded to him. He is already 18 😮 but I imagine I will have to pay quite a bit for that so maybe one day? Maybe not. This is all insanely new to me. I had Brooklyn for 12 years and never connected with anyone.

I agree, I'd NOT pay 2 grand for ANY reborn, no matter how well it is made. The artist has a right to ask for a price but people don't have to pay it. I could afford it but I wouldn't, not for a reborn. Like in any market, if there is a cheaper offer there will be consumers. Is it right? Maybe yes, maybe no, but thats how it always will be. I do understand why some collectors/sculptors and artists are against replicas and thats their right also. Myself, I have all kinds of dolls and I collect for my own enjoyment and not anyone elses. It would be boring if all channels would feature the same dolls, lol. If someone doesn't like what I have and show they won't watch anyways and thats okay, too. Live and let live! Thank you for your support! Girl I rounded down in the cost of that doll if I rounded correctly it was closer to 3k. I loved that doll he was an absolute masterpiece. If I had the budget for an expensive collection yes it’s worth it. With inflation and the financial state in most countries right now, it doesn’t make sense while raising a family to have my money invested in this way. That baby is too cute with the leather jacket. I watched your Jesus Christ video and I ordered the doll after watching your unboxing and now I see this one so I ordered this one too. Actually I thought that I was buying the little boy but come to find out it's a little girl and it's a total different doll than I thought that I was buying but it still is cute and I need a little girl to match Jesus so I think that I am going to keep the order.
Come to find out that it was the same baby the photos just looked different.
The anger comes from the sculptors who take months to sculpt these by hand only for them to be stolen and sold so they no longer get paid for their hard work.

I am so sorry to see this, I don't agree with the purchase of stolen kits or knock offs of any kind. Laura Tuzio Ross will never get a dime from the stolen kits along with Ping Lau who just had one of her brand-new toddler molds stolen. Just because your situation has changed does not mean you can't afford a reasonable priced doll instead of spending $2000 spend $300 you can find nice authentic reborns at reasonable prices. Put yourself in Laura or any of the other artist place and see if you feel the same. Think of the time and money they spent to create a kits only to have it stolen and replicated. I understand you may not agree and that is ok but I just had to say my peace and remove myself from your content. I may not have always commented but I loved your videos up to this point. To be clear I can buy expensive dolls if I choose but I will not prioritize investing that way when the artists don’t support their customers. I don’t like the stand the artists have taken after I was harassed and defamed for supporting a friend meanwhile I owned only authentic. If you didn’t know Kelly Maple with over 2M subs even participated and shared the screenshots of the collages made defaming me. I know the artists saw what was happening. I was loyal to the artists but then I saw how poorly people are being treated and how many artists enable and condone the harassment. I will be buying high end hand bags before I ever invest in a highly priced doll again because the service will match the price tag. Sadly that is not the case with the dolls. ❤

Your story is pretty much identical to mine .... There was a time when I never thought I would buy a replica but my curiosity got the better of me and I was immediately impressed! I will always love my authentic-collection but also: I probably will never be able to afford them like I used to.
