As a totally blind person myself, I completely understand where you’re coming from. I am so sorry this happened. Like you, I too have been bullied and have had people say unkind things to me as well. No shame. I have fibromyalgia. I had to have my adult son help me slicing the eye socket inside the head...didn't have enough hand strength. You do what you can and God bless people that help us!
People that leave rude comments are not happy in their own lives so they want to make others miserable too. I see nothing wrong with asking for help when you need it. It doesn’t matter if you are handicapped or not. ❤️🙏🏻
Tori, never feel ashamed of being legally blind, please. As you know I was born legally blind due to my albinism. If your hubby is thoughtful enough to help you are very blessed. I went through major humiliation in 12 years attending a Catholic school.
This was in the 60’s and 70’s when there was no assistance for me and I struggled with no help. They didn’t know what to do with me.
My vision is the same. If I put a dark object on a dark surface, forget it! I can’t see it!!
There are times that are a bit better moments and sometimes not. So I completely understand.

We all have things we arent so good at. I can't hear most the time even with my hearing aides and I've tried to let people who watch my videos understand that I watch theirs but usually with the captions on if it's available. No reason to be ashamed at all. I'm sorry someone made you feel that way especially since this is such a beautiful hobby where we should be lifting up the sisterhood instead of condemning. This baby is on my bucket list of babies. She's so darn cute. Happy Friday
My brother is deaf. We have always had caption in our house along with the tty’s. Video phone is so much nicer for you all.

I so agree that you should never be ashamed to ask for help, we all need it sometimes! You do such a great job with this channel on top of having three little ones so of course there are going to be times when you need help! And you do all of that on top of having a vision deficit! You should get an award!
I am sorry that happened to you. This person, of course, should have never even said that whether you are blind or not. Because you are blind, that makes the comment even worse, as after you explained, she went trolling through your channel until you had to block her. We all need help and there is nothing wrong with that. I need help with several things in my life. hugs.
Tori, I’m proud of you for not letting it get to you as much as it did or could have. I’m legally blind as well and it’s difficult to ask for help and feeling shame for asking. Help is not a good thing. Don’t let the trolls get you down.
I got a rude comment on my channel...I was doing a video for my doll Rylie's Gotcha/Birthday. I had a piece of birthday cake and a present for her. This person said something in the order of "why don't you get a dog or cat and dress them up instead of playing with dolls". Well, I shot back with an answer of my own and that was the end of that. People can be so rude. I think I blocked them as well.
Oh my goodness!!! What does it even matter that he helped you??? Maybe some jealousy there on her part because you have a kind and supportive spouse. Regardless, I think you’re phenomenal! You’re raising living kiddos, dealing with a disability that can be pretty debilitating at times AND have an amazing dolly channel ❤

Hey I love your channel. I’m a blind mamma of 5 and I have a couple reborns too. One way I match clothes is to cut labels out of the dark items and leave the labels in the light items. I always roll socks up with onesies and if an outfit is specific to certain items, (a pair of flowery pants that has a matching top) for example, then I roll them together or safety pin them together. So yeah, the initial purchase takes a bit of effort to get the system to work, but once you’ve had that sighted help then it should work going forward. With regards to hair accessories, I hook hair ties over the hanger hook or I roll them inside the socks. I hope this helps x

Such a weird comment!! I am so sorry you felt "shame" for having needed help. You don't need to explain why you needed help, please don't let this person make you feel badly. Everyone needs help for something at some point. I have my hubby help me with lots of stuff!! I am banned from using glue around reborns as I dropped glue on them TWICE almost ruining them 😬 I bet you help your hubby with many things as well, we all do the best we can!! I have a Gouchin too and I agree about the whole tummy looking best in looser clothes. What is in her arms? I put armatures in mine but not sure I like them. You are AWESOME!!

I am so sorry this happened to you. This person, whether she will admit it or not, either has needed or will need help at some point in her life as well. We all do. I am so glad your husband is willing to help you with your hobby. Mine is as well. A lot of people just don’t have the same love for this hobby that some of us do, so needing help modifying a doll might seem silly to them. I enjoy your videos, so you just keep having fun with your hobby, and don’t let anyone make you feel ashamed for it.
There's nothing wrong with needing help, we all do sometimes. I have multiple sclerosis, and so..... I love your channel, you're so awesome.

Awe she’s so pretty…I have this same sculpt because I love it first off but 2 I couldn’t believe when I seen this baby on peoples channels and how much it looked identical to one of my brothers when they were a baby so I had to get my hands on one that was the perfect match hair wise and eyes that looked exactly like my brother and I found one on reborns and I just love this sculpt too. Such a beautiful baby. I named it after my brother since it looks just like him. Honey looked so pretty in her fall happy outfit ❤ I’m sorry about that mean and rude comment someone made about you needed help. It’s so sad how people are. I was at the store yesterday with my daughter and a close friend who is blind. I have Parkinson's and walk slower so I was watching a blind woman at age 72 outwalk me a woman of 58 ha ha 😂🤣🤣
We are living in a time of no natural affection. Some people get an emotional high on kicking nice people and making them feel less. Don't let them have that kind of power over you.

I'm starting to get stressed and I got permission from the day hab and I have Aston Drake., a faux reborn, and now I found a reborn that fits my budget. I am in a wheelchair and suffer anxiety that worsens as I age. I'm glad you have the help you need. it gives me hope

why do ppl have to say anything discouraging like that? just don't say anything and you have a choice as to what you watch so if you cant be encouraging dont watch or speak. I'm sick of negative ppl, I'm rooting them out of my life, all they do is hurt others and bring them down. I've put up with a lot of that in my life thinking well maybe they'll change but I've realized over time that they're just selfish jealous or miserable and I pray for them from afar but I don't feel bad putting them out. block them you don't need ppl like that in your life. thanks for sharing your experience, put it out of your mind and heart, you're important and loved just as you are. Just light perception trough a keyhole on my right eye, the left one is completely blind! So of course sometimes i need help! I used to be ashamed asking for help wenn I was starting to use awhite cane to navigate! Now I learned that I do kneed the help of sighted people sometimes! and nothing to be ashamed off! It's the way it it wenn you can't fully access the sighted world!😂, let's ask those mean people to do our every day tasks blindfolded🤣,and see how they manage?😂🥰xxx

People are stupid. I am disabled. My back was fractured and now a disc sets on my sciatic nerve. No one understands unless it happens to them. I am a firm believer that everyone gets their comeuppins. I have had so many eye surgeries. Cataracts when I was 32. 3 detached retnas. 1 cryo surgery and twice my lens slipped. Once it went behind my eye. The silicone they put in had to be removed due to allergy to it. Stitches pushed their way out instead of dissolving. Once my pressure in one eye went to 52 because I was allergic to the gel they set the lenses in with. I am extremely blessed that my vision is good. Pay no attention to those people. You have a husband who loves you, beautiful children and a great hobby you enjoy. So enjoy.

Don't ever be ashamed of something that is not your fault, what a troll to say something like that. And no no-one should ever be a shame for needing help. It just shows you how much your husband loves you and are there for you when you need him. So you should never apologise for something that isn't your fault, the person telling you that is the one who should apologise. ❤

You have to ignore people and comments like that because it just isn’t worth your time and energy. Why would you do it by yourself if you have someone that can help you and make it easier? My husband used to help me all the time when I was reborning dolls. I agree you shouldn’t be using sharp tools with your vision problems. Most likely this person was just jealous that you have a husband who helps you.

I actually had an artist share my video and tried to shame me because I had to pay to have mine redone the right way, after paying thousands for it. I’m a collector. Not an artist. I had already paid good money to have it done the right way. I shouldn’t have to know how to do it myself if I’ve already paid to have it done. I’m sorry someone would say that to you. It says more about what kind of person they are and shouldn’t have anything to do with you ❤️
I know how you feel I am not able to have kids so I love taking my reborn dolls and I have been called crazy stupid and even had people point and laugh at me and I have had people be a shamed of me for taking my dolls out and take them to the stores

The person that should feel ashamed is the person who left that comment! That is a whole new level of rude! You’re lucky to have a husband that will help you decide what works well together ( he does a great job, by the way ). My husband thinks anything and everything goes together! My babies would end up looking like clowns 😂. I would ask my husband for that kind of help too! As a matter of fact, he is the one that replaces my zip ties because I’m just not confident in doing them. I’m afraid I would slip and cut the vinyl. I’m a non driver as well…the world is safer that way 😂😂
