Great presentation, I’m trying to decide which GPS unit to purchase, Wahoo or the Karoo2. My concern is the touchscreen, have you had any issues with using touch? I will be using as MTB & gravel riding.
Hi, i personally haven't used it on any MTB ride but the touch screen will be like any other smartphone you currently use and also having the physical button def helps.
Great video , thank you, I received mine last month and I’m still learning... do you know how to sync my CycliqPlus cameras... on my Garmin they are set up for on/off .
Hey neighbor! Still liking the Karoo? I got a Garmin 1030 Plus on sale, but Karoo looks so much better and more modern, that I am thinking of switching. Yeah, Garmin's battery life is a bomb, but I am OK with 7-8h or carrying a small power bank if needed. The only issue I see is that being an aka smartphone device that needs charging every other day or so the battery might just get degraded in a year or two and it is not replaceable. How is yours holding up so far?
Hey! So far I'm still loving it, I'm perfectly fine with the battery life I don't need more than what is capable of I have done two century rides with no issues with it lasting the whole ride. I do love the GPS and us probably the number one reason I got it.
I have a Karoo 2 and an Edge 1030 plus. I’ve linked both to Strava but Strava for some reason only recognises the Edge 1030 plus. The Karoo 2 while it saves the ride on Strava, it doesn’t appear for some reason. Anyone any idea why?
Hi i just bought the Karoo2 . I was today on ride and on the way i wanted change my destination but i could’t because i was offline . So my question is how can i put new destination when im offline??
Hi, italian language ? It comes quckly ? Installation android apps: i try to install ki2 for support to Shimano steps. Can i install another apps (gopro, etc..) ? Tanks
Unfortunately that was the software out of the box, it has gotten a bunch of new updates with tons of new features and is definitely normal to touch now.
agreed. Karoo 2 is the beast. beyond expectations.

I am glad you like found it useful. I believe CycliqPlus is yet not compatible but I do know they are working on a future update to make it work.
New update was just released, have you tried it yet?
@@TheCyclingConquistador noooo
How do I update the device? Does it need to be connected to a desktop computer?
Is OTA just have to be connected to WiFi.

Do you have a video explaining how to side load apps to the Karoo 2?

No I don’t, sorry.
I currently have a wahoo roam which is great, but looking at the K2 how easy is it to use etc
I’m really happy with my purchase and looking forward for all the new updates to come.
@@TheCyclingConquistador is it easy to use
@@stevehayes8867 yes it is
@@TheCyclingConquistador I only have a mobile phone so I will rely only on the app, is that perfectly ok
??
I don’t see app management or any apps on my hammerhead ?
I can't find whereas Karoo 2 is showing current grade % in decimals (ex.6.9), for example: 6 % is simply not enough for me.
This isn't a User Guide, its a brief overview.

I use a sim card, but I believe you have to drop a pin on the map and it should reroute you.
@@TheCyclingConquistador thanks for your reply 🤝 . You use sim card , you mean your sim card from your smart phone? 🤔 or just memory card?
@@quevadis5848 I use a SIM card from Verizonwireless a network provider.
@Hans i did but is still a bit complicated. Before I bought I thought its is easy to use like car GPS but is not i realized

Yes you can
Thought this was a start up Not one already used
you can do it
hello check the new karoo 2 can you change the language to spanish?
Si señor 👍
You waffle and repeat yourself way too much. Learn to ony give FACTS/INFO>
Its very slow and you had to touch everything twice for it to do something. Not that good.

IMO a waste of time. there was no user review guide, just an ad hoc, poorly explained dip of the toes into features.
