The Ohio National Poultry Show is BACK for the first time since 2019! Over 6000 entries. We LOVE going and seeing all the beautiful birds, and hope you'll enjoy this review.
Watching this video I felt like I was back at the show. You showed a great variety of all that was there. I especially liked the interviews with the people showing their birds (missed a lot of them since Andrea and I were walking around totally entranced by all the different breeds). Definitely the place to go if you are interested in chickens! By going with you both, it was more exciting and informative than if I had gone alone or with someone who didn't know much about chickens and the breeds. Thank you for a great day!
This was awesome. Thank you for sharing. OMG you got to meet Jan Brett Folkloric Bantams. She's one of my favorite children authors. One of my kids favorite books was The Mitten.
Thanks for the comment. I honestly had no idea about Jan. She was willing to talk on camera. I was able to find her social media, but had no idea she wrote children's books. She was very nice to talk to and it was evident she knew her birds!
Hello again from New Zealand! This is one of my favourite channels and I love the chickens the most. So glad to see the ohio chicken show from lockdown in Auckland! Internet is pretty crazy haha
We hear about your crazy lockdown. We're mostly open in Ohio. The federal government is still locked down, but lockdowns for schools and businesses have been lifted. The more you get out of cities, the more open things are. Farmers and livestock owners have always acted like nothing changed. It was nice to go to the show and act like a normal human being. There were a few people wearing masks, but there was no requirement. It was so refreshing to be back at the Ohio National!

There were a few I wanted to bring home, like that Frizzle Salmon Faverolle on the thumbnail. She was so cute! And maybe a Sebastopol goose or two!

Anyone can go! We don’t show chickens but we love going every year.
