I have a rescue Great Pyrenees and they’re wonderful dogs you just have to make sure to socialize them really well when they’re younger because they can have issues with guests coming into the home. We got my dog later in life and he went through training and everything but we still have to put him up in a room when guests come over because he has tried to bite people who come too close.

It fucking melts my heart as 19 year old who has watched Cody’s content since I was in 6th grade (literally the only CZcamsr I’ve kept up with for so long), but it’s incredible to see how far you’ve come and Kelsey is such a beautiful soul. @Cody and Kelsey sorry for the long comment but here's a little thing you can do to avoid your kids being iPad kids, ESPECIALLY on longer car rides or airplanes trips: When I was a kid, we would go on vacation road trips all the way to Virginia Beach (I'm from the province of Quebec so it was a good 13 hours of driving) and before leaving, my parents would bring my brother and I at the local dollar store and they would let us chose a few toys and a few snacks! They also had a little tv that you could put dvd's in them that you attach to the back of the headrest and they got got us the Spongebob series and we loved it!
They would take the tv out of the car when the trip was done so we wouldn't get used to watching tv during car rides (aka it's only for special occasions like a road trip vacation) It's not portable like an iPad so they won't be asking for it when y'all sit at a restaurant or something because they'll know that it's exclusively for long car rides. We never complained or made a fuss and got used to sitting in a car (or anywhere else) for long periods of time very quickly. Plus, they're some of my most treasured memories 🥰 They started doing it when we were toddlers and we would sleep 3/4 of the trip so today if i'm not driving I fall asleep SO QUICK in a car ☠

My boyfriend and I took 3 baby classes at our hospital before our son was born and I highly recommend doing classes because you get to be hands on and ask questions and it was really helpful all around!

Both of my parents were working parents. On the weekends we would reserve time to watch certain shows that we’re playing that evening even if one of my parents was away on business. I think it’s always important to put family time first. Even if it’s hard. I think that a child that sees you try will always cherish and love you.

Just words of encouragement, my wife and I just had our first kid and while she knew a lot about babies through growing up in a big family, I knew nothing. Our son is 4 months old now and my confidence with being his dad and doing daily tasks has skyrocketed. You may not know what you are doing but you will figure it out and do great!!

It’s better to have an org that can supply resources,training assistance, and knowledge than using a mentally unstable woman who wants to clout chase using puppy mill dogs from Asia. Her heart is in the right place, but I do not trust her at all.

I totally agree with sharing your kids lives on the internet. I’m a parent myself and personally I only post my kid on Facebook where it’s private and where my close friends and family members can see updates on him. But personally I never post my kid on Snapchat or instagram. I see social media as a pro and con, but Kelsey and Cody are totally right. I can tell from this podcast they are going to be great parents!

It is so easy to judge and say what you will or won't do before you are really living the life of a parent... I can't wait to hear the podcast in exactly three years. Being a parent is hard and nonstop, for the rest of your life. If you give your kid a tablet so you (and everyone else there) can have a nice dinner out, YOU ARE DOING A GOOD JOB!

I would say don’t waste your time with a slide until you know your kids personality. My sister had a slide on her bunk bed but she had separation anxiety from my parents and so she like never used it her whole childhood?? Also it takes up so much space in the room. I’d wait until you’re moving from crib to a big boy bed to assess that!
