  • Aerial and underwater footage of the fall salmon migrating upstream at Bowmanville creek. Like all areas below a barrier, this is a sanctuary where fishing is not allowed. Lots of coho and Chinook salmon, plus a peek at a steelhead and brown trout.

    It’s been a dry fall season in southern Ontario. Hard for these fish to get to the prime spawning grounds upstream of Goodyear Dam. Thank you for the video.

      Quite a few packs went very early,when that late july rain hit the oak ridges

    When was this filmed??? it is so beautiful to see all of those salmon swim up the stream and the nature too.

      This is a Lake Ontario tributary on the Ontario side. Watching the salmon is incredible!

    Adrian is right the lack of water this year has made it very hard to the migration of these incredible fish to reach there beds Great video

      The fish are pretty darn good at moving upstream even in the few rain events we have...but dams make it harder on them.
